This Valentine's Day, show your loved one how much they mean to you by passing up the cute red, pink and white candy packages. Instead, make your "I Love You" even more meaningful with a gift that's good for their waistline as well as their heart.
Dip into some calorie free luxury bath items. For her, you can fill a basket with lotions and bath accessories that smell of her favorite sweet treat. For him, you can pamper his skin with after-shave soothers and lotions. And every kid I know loves a bubble bath with toys!
Write a love letter to each of your loved ones on a homemade valentine. Add doilies, stickers, glitter and lace or go on-line for templates or free e-cards.
Take your loved one for a moonlight walk. It may be cold, dark and rainy, but bundle up and take this time to talk about all the reasons you want to live a long and healthy life together.
Don't forget about yourself this Valentine's Day, either. Show yourself you care by writing down a few goals that will keep you moving toward a healthier life.
And remember that hugs and kisses are calorie free and as sweet as can be!
Healthy regards,
