Hello everyone. A little bit about me: I'm 45, married, and have 3 kids, ages 20, 16 and 14. Everything is great right now with everyone, except for my weight. I could be happy this way, but I am not ready to give up.
I know I need to lose weight to be healthier. And my health is my biggest motivation.
I'm very happy to be here, and hope I utilize all the tools here, to get me on the right track.
Right now, I am struggling with the fun-sized candy nightmare. I have to stop it now, because they won't go away until after Easter. I know it's the wrong season to try and eat right and be healthy, but if I put it off until the new year, then I'm quite sure I will just have 10 -15 more pounds to lose.

However 'fun' they are they're still 50-100 calories each. I may be able to fit one of those into my day, but if there is one thing I've learnt is that keeping a supply of them in my home will not work for me. Naturally with all your kids you probably don't have that option - or do you? why do these things need to exist at home on the days before and after Haloween? and why can't you ask one of your family members to hide them from you so you don't know where they are?
One of the most valuable tools on this website is the tutorial (link at top of page)
