This last Saturday, I was a part of a team of three guys running a mountain trail race in Colorado. For my friends this was the biggest physical challenge of their lives. The course was 10 miles uphill to a 13,000 foot pass and then downhill for 7 miles to the town of Telluride. The run was hard and we were sore for days. But it was sure worth it. I now have 4 new people that want to take on this challenge for next year. They have a year to get ready. This goal will change their lives as they prepare and as they successfuly complete the race. Even their families will be impacted by this event.

Yeah, I did the Everest Challenge last year. We had to run up the North Face, then once you reached the Summit, you had to sled your way down to the finish line on the other side. It got a bit difficult in the 'death zone' where I could only 'jog' for most of it. I hit 80 mph though on the sled section, which was really fun.
