Am looking for a buddy that is also willing to lose about 80 pounds. I need someone that is motivated and able to communicate via email. Share recipes, how fun!  I don't care so much about gender, etc, just accountabillity and tip sharing. thanks!

I go calorie counting, it's just easier for me. I'm a single mom with a 8yr old. I started making an effort to lose weigh 2.5yrs ago. Started at 362.2 and am now down to 320.2. I had lost lbs and then started having issues with my now ex,work and gained back 20lbs of that. so in the last year I've just been maintaining that and decided to get back on the band wagon. That is my story and I'm sticking to it...LOL
I do count my calories, like I said it's easier for me and I've been doing it for so long I can name quite a few off the top of my head. I do cook most nights for dinner, but also go for simiplicty. I know at my starting weight I was eating 2100 a day and losing and could pretty much eat what I wanted. But I've talked to NIR about what I should try eating at now to lose. being a single mom, football3x a week for the kid, working to 6pm; even when I cook it's easy, quick stuff.
I have to get my lazy, sleepy #%@&! off to get dressed for a church picnic... Gonna bring my own fatfree hotdogs. Talk to you later?
How about you? What's your story?? LOL

I just try to stay very active... as much as possible.  I work 12 hour shifts and typically work 5 days/week.  doesn't leave much time available for aquatics (which is awesome) at the Y.  I have an exercise ball that I highly recommend and weights.  One of the jobs (I have two jobs) and one I typically have plenty of down time and so I keep a clear sleeve of quick exercises at my desk.  those exercises I have ripped out of magazines, photocopied, etc. the other job I run my @$$ off and call it good.  I usually walk about 8 miles in 12 hours... and at the beginning of the shift i use the stairs. LOL.

i love to cook and use new and creative recipes ... love the veggies... always have.  still not much of an asparagas fan...or lima bean fan, but everything else I really enjoy. love fruit... mmm...microwaved apples with cinnamon...  or baked sweet potatos... doesn't that sound good?

as far as diet goes...PROTEIN 6 times a day...  can we talk about particular diet plans on this site?  if so I can tell you how  i lost 60 lbs last year. it all revolved around an orange book and a "mans" diet. I like to eat right every time.   this year I seem to have hit the ol' plateau and haven't had much to brag about... the 10 pounds is still better than where i was at previously....I have to admit.

and I have purchased to additional books... one is exercise for 8 minutes a day 6 days/week and the other is 25 minutes day/ 5 days a week.  so , when I feel I haven't gotten all of my exercise in... I pull out one of those and then I always have exercise dvds to fall back on... mostly pilates and the ball... and one has both...lol

I wish I didn't have to work... so I could exercise more.  I used to hate exercising and even in high school didn't care for it... for some odd reason over the past 2 years i have become an addict to exercise (even with asthma...)

my boyfriend loves it that I am so involved in exercise. and often walks with me early in the morning and late at night to take my dog on her walk (we usually walk 1-2 miles each time... just depends on what time I get outta bed.  my boyfriend lives next door to me and... I rent from him.  some ppl think it's odd, but it works and it works very well for me.  we text and I often times call him "landlord"  but we keep it real and try to keep it real fun.  if we lived further apart I don't know how in the heck I would have time to see him.  he is fit...  he looks like lorenzo lamas from the 1980's with short hair. and gorgeous blue eyes...

i want to lose an additional 60 pounds this year...  I know I can do it...!

I'm not active at all. I admit it. I should be but I'm not. Though I know need to be to lose and keep off the weight. I hate cardio, a lot :nono: But since Fall is coming and that is the time of year I love, I will attempt to have us walk more in the evenings. My job is customer service, so I sit on my butt. Though I do refuse to call dispatch, when they are right around the corner so I walk there. I haven't tried any videos, but I want to say I want to try one I've seen adverizted on TV. Flirty Girl ones.
You can to some degree talk about what you have been doing but you can't post links to diet sites, you can't attempt to get people to buy what your selling. I will admit I like to eat #%@&!!!! For specific stuff you can IM any of the Moderators, and they can direct you to the right place to answer or have the answers themselves.
I'm a picky eater, not as bad as some but I am. I'm a pretty plain veggie eater. Though am always willing to try something once. I do like to cook but... Once again the kid think falls into play. He doesnt eat a lot, so it's hard to make full size meals. I would have lefts over for ever.
That's actually kinda neat aboout your BF, you get to be close but yet when you need your space you can have it. I miss mine, he is currently in the south working.

lol i looked up flirty girl... and it is flirty... your bf would like that... hey its only 9.99 and you get two disks.   what are you waiting for... its fitness, its weight and inches loss guaranteed, and it looks fun.  you should do it... and surprise your bf when he returns...and then you can tell him what youve been up to and show him your moves.   heck, i may order me one.

do yourself a favor and order it today... no regrets... you want to... its cheap... what are you waiting for?

i am not that picky of an eater at all.  well, i don't like meat with fat, bone or gristle. EW  and so I obviously don't eat hot dogs, ribs, sausage, spam, or certain cuts of chicken. but, i will eat most anything else.  my bf says I am always a cheap date... come to think of it, we both are... this week was his bday and I took him to olive garden for supper... tip and all we spent $17. lol for a bday dinner...   if we are out for a day and I haven't packed enough snacks, lunch, etc, we find Wendys.  we typically will spend about $7 for the two of us if its lunch. I get the side salad, lg chilli and oranges. I eat the beans outta the chili, he gets the rest and then he has the chicken. BUT we always try to picnic... we love to picnic. we even bought a basket and a picnic recipe book.  lol  he loves to read and we both enjoy thrift store shopping.  when i purchase a book or magazine... its from the thrift store... I am really tight with my money... and so is he... so, packing lunches and snacks is really quite fun for both of us.  and he is awesome to cook with... makes it all the better experience for both of us... and he always does the dishes. I think that makes a well rounded man.

today i found a black eyed pea salad recipe.  do you like black eyed peas? the recipe looks great.  vinegar, oil, peppers, onion, garlic, pimentos, splenda, salt, pepper, hot sauce.  hey have you ever tried cayenne pepper capsules to speed up metabolism? or tried chickweed?  i try to take them two times a day.  the chickweed is a fat burner and cayenne is a metaboliser... and they can both work while you sleep.   and are all natural.  and i found another recipe for tomatoes, cukes, red onion, mozeralla, garlic, basil, parsley, ff italian and pepper. i use a pepper mill... found it at the thrift store... love it.

Your right it is cheap but... 1 I don't have the money on my card for it and if you read further on, you get tied into a monthly membership thing. I wonder if I can get them on Ebay. My man loves me the way I am. Which is great but doesn't mean I have to love me the way I am.
My guy will eat anything, I swear he has a cast-iron stomach. The stuff he mixes to eat, amazes me. Not sure I've had them but am willing to try... Forward it on.
I haven't tried the capsules. I've been taking Citromax something. Not everyday as I should but have been.

Thanks I will go look for them on payday. Walmart we have, walgreens we don't.
I wasn't eating around the calories NIR said I should try to eat at. But way less than I had been and I was down 2.6lbs this week. About time, LOL. Was talking to an old friend today about weight loss and such. She has a 4month old and she is stressin cause she is at the wieght she was when she delivered her. So we were talking about diff things you can do but the need/willpower to do what you need to do.
