Well, I have finally gone & done it! I have decided to finally get my weight under control. My husband & I both are embarking upon a weight loss journey together that we will be blogging about soon via the web. We are both WAY over our ideal body weights and are determined to get healthy. I am not able to run or walk as far as I used to, which is necessary for the mom of a 5 year old boy! I would like to have another child before I get too old and I don't want to have any complications due to my weight.

I am really looking forward to getting to know you guys & gals on here and will be looking to you all for encouragement, support, ideas, suggestions, recipes, etc. I have been lurking, checking out some of the awesome stories on here and look forward to the day I will get to post MY story of success! :wink:

I have 200 pounds to lose, but know that I can do it. I am determined that this is going to be an ADVENTURE!
