Ok, I was never a big fan of this stuff. But, I have recently been eating this in my salads and it is pretty good.

So wondering how else can you eat this stuff and please recipes. I am a slow learner....

Besides boiling it, I was thinking maybe layer them with something or rolls even. I don't know....

Need ideas... and don't forget recipes...

I buy it frozen, and mostly have it with breakfast.  When frozen it comes in cubes.  I actually have a cube of it defrosting right now, waiting for me to cook some breakfast.

I heat it in a pan, with a little olive oil, and add salt and pepper to taste.
I serve it alongside eggs (however you like them) and toast, and often with pan cooked tomato and mushrooms as well

I also use it as an omelette filling.

I use spinach in omlettes too.  I also use it chopped up in things like spaghetti sauce and lasagna.  It's also pretty good on homemade pizza.

Oh keep them coming guys. This is great! I would of never thought to eat it with breakfast. Maybe I will do that today instead of my standard toast.

Hi

U can cook spinach by satuteing it in frying pan with little bit of onions and tomatoes. Add boiled mushrooms to this mixture.

second in  a frying pan add 1 medium onion and saute add tomatoes when the smell of raw onions has vanished , add  ginger. as soon as the tomatoes become mushy add spinach and stir ( stir frequently as little oil means that it tends to stick to the vessel)

as soon as the spinach gets cooked add low fat cottage cheese add a little bit of lemon juice when serving

u can add raw spinach to any of the breads that u are making .

If u make bread at home

any of the burger patti u make at home

u can add few spinach leaves

and a very unusual recipe but it is very nice if u have a taste for it

in a wok add 2 teaspoons of garlic and stir ( add a little oil)

as soon as the smell of garlic is gone add  spinach ( 1/2 kg ) and stir till it wilts and all the water has dried up. add lemon juice salt and pepper . Sereve on a bed of brown rice and low fat yoghurt dressed with rock salt and black pepper and coriender and mint leaves .

try it out and please let me know

thank u

My mom makes this really good salad with spinach, even though it's hard to eat a lot of it because it's so sweet....

She just mixes spinach, and apple cut up into small-ish (like diced I guess, if you can dice apples) pieces, and balsamic vinegar. Then she puts some other dressing in there... some raspberry thing, I think, but she changes the recipe a lot, so it's probably safe to mess around with. =)
