Success Story

This morning I am at 152.  That was my goal and I made it.  33 lbs lost, thanks to FL4I.  I love this WOE.

I started my journey on Feb 6, 2006 and here I am Arp 25, 2006 with 33 lbs behind me.
Though I realize my journey is not over as I still have fine tuning I want to do and maintenance is a part of the battle.  So as I finish out this cycle and prepare for the next leg of my journey, I am just so proud of myself.

Stick to it guys, this plan works if you work it

Jayelle
check out the ticker...How beautiful is that?

I will tell you, it seems you did it in textbook fashion!  Congratulations and I am really proud of you!

Do you have any size changes you want to share or how you feel now at your better weight?

Way to go!!

Oh man, Thanks Dobie..  I've gone down 3 pant sizes.:P  I had gone up to a 14 once I got out of denial about my 12s shrinking, and I am now in a 10.  I bought some pants in that size this weekend and I have room in those.
I've lost several inches but I can't find where I recorded my original measurements so I don't know exactly.
I feel great, better about myself.  Also health wise, I had a hard time staying on my elliptical when I first started, now I can go an hour with realtive ease. I mean, I do it a pace equivalent to my walking but still.  So yeah, it feels great to have set this goal for myself and stuck with it.  So now to set another goal.
I'm working on it, but it definitely involves toning up.
And the ultimate goal of maintenance when I am totally happy with where I am.

Thanks for the encouragment.

I posted come in the Top Tips thread that may help

http://www.caloriesperhour.com/forums/forum3/1518.html

I was hoping others would post their top tips, but so far, no one has added to it.  You see, there are a BUNCH of great ideas in the threads here, but it takes time to read it all.

Pick foods you like, stay creative but legal with preparing them, drink your water, walk and enjoy your clothes getting looser!

Hey Pharmd Niki, I am 5'9", with a small frame.

Dobie is right, there is some great advice posted here.
Dobie, I am going to try to put together a post for that thread as well.  I just want to be able to give it the time it deserves as that is a veryimportant topic.

I'd say I have a medium build... your 30 lbs loss in 5 cycles has inspired me... I am trying to lose 25lbs in 5 cycles, so I can buy a cute new bikini for my cruise... I might not make that goal though, I'm going to be working out as much as possible, weights and cardio with a friend of mine (motivation)... so I might end up gaining some muscle... but your weight loss is DEFINITELY inspiration!  Everyone on this post has gotten great results... I just hope I can stick with this, and I still can have the energy to work out!

Success Story

Hello all, I made it to the 11th day and I am elated.  I lost the 9lbs and can tell the difference mostly in my waist and arms.  My stomach has not been this flat in ages.  I am 5' and started at 133 and ended at 124.   I give two thumbs up for this diet.  I had previously counted calories for months just to lose 3lbs or so while I starved the entire time.  I was never hungry on this diet which made it a breeze.  The water drinking was a little much so instead of committing to the 10 glasses per day, I made sure I did eight - which wasn't that hard.  I probably had alot of water weight so the extra water pushed it out.  I don't eat pork or beef so my meal plan consisted of a lot of fish and nuts - alot of nuts.  I rekindled my love of fruit, which was a surprise and I hope the extra fruit and veggies help my cholesterol.  I rarely deviated from the plan and when I did I substituted a meal from another day.  I pretty much stayed on track the whole time.

I put on a pair of shorts that I had on just last week and they are now about two inches too big - SWEET !!!

Tomorrow - I will eat what I want but I will try darn hard not too fill up.  I think that and the water is the key - If I drink the water, I'm already full for the most part so my portions are very small.

I highly recommend it - best $40.00 I've ever spent.

THANKS for listening - I just had to tell someone !!!

Hi BaconBits

That is really great news.-well done.:grin::grin: I have been following this diet/eating plan since Feb this year, and I still love it. You are right, for me too it was the best $40 I have spent in a long time.

The thing I stick to on the 3'cheat days' is like you said-drink the water, but I also still keep away from pasta, rice and potatoe's, but I do have have bread. This has worked for me.

Good luck with you next 11 days.

Hi Jules - Thanks - I will steer clear of the carbs, but honestly, I really miss the bread.  I only had one sandwich on my menu the entire 11 days and it was on the second day.

I learned some really good substitutes like mustard for mayo.  I even put gourmet mustard on tuna and it was really good.  I didn't like the fat free mayo.

I can't wait to see my second menu plan.  After this 11 day plan I will go on to the maintenance plan.  I went back over the Diet Handbook today and hope I understand the concept of changing the carb/protein ratio daily.

Good luck to you and everyone !!!

Hiya

I know what you mean about the bread. All the download menu's only allow 1 sandwich in the 11 days.

I would be very interested to know how you get on using the mainenance plan.

For me, it felt like too much thinking and planning-I know- Lazy isnt it-lol

I use the download menus but now just add veg or salad( but still only to fill my small plate :pig:) because there is very little thinking involved, and it seems to work for me.

Good luck

Jules

Success Story

Hey there,

I just wanted to share my success with other people that are overweight or that have some fat that they'd like to lose.

I started Fat Loss 4 Idiots over a month ago and I've now lost 27lbs (actually still losing!).

I tried pretty much EVERY program in the past but I've finally found one that I've been able to integrate into my daily schedule and I just love it.

P.S. If you're trying to lose weight you really just have to stick with it no matter what and never give up!

Thanks,
Michelle

Hi michellelane1,

congratulations, that is an amzing weight-loss-success. I'm currently on my 3rd cycle of the fl4i. You say that you have to stick to it, do you mean the diet in general or the exact plan. I usually create multiple 11 day plans, since some of the combinations are just to boring. Like chicken and sausage. Or cheese with cottage cheese. Do you think it is ok to eat the cottage cheese with the chicken and the regular cheese with the sausage??? Is it ok to mix the different foods within the same group ( carb or protein) on the same day, or do you think you have to stick to the exact plan, even when some stuff ( like scrambled and hardboiled eggs) makes no sence. The 11 day plans are generated by a computer- so obviously some of the foodcombos are a little unusual.

I think you should also post your success story on the fl4i forum.

Way to go.........

hi michelle....I just started fat loss 4 idiots and I am on my 4th day. So far, I have lost only 2lbs. I now weigh 131lbs and my goal is to lose at least another 8-10 lbs by the end of this cycle. I have been doing 30 min. of moderate paced cardio for 2 of the days of the cycle.(leaving for fl on march 10th and i desperately need to fit back into my bikini).  Do you think that burning some calories excercising while on this diet will mess up the whole calorie shifting thing?

Alex....we are supposed to excercise...30  minutes two times per day or 45 minutes once per day for optimum weight loss....they suggest brisk walking..nothing too intense in order to burn fat instead of glycogen.  It is not required to excercise but the program encourages it.  If you go over to the fl4i discussion forum(go to the end and post) you can ask about excercise there...we have weight lifters, dancers, martial arts...you name it...they will be happy to reply.

Hi,

I am planning on starting FL4I next Monday.  In the meantime, I am going to do Beyond Calories for a few days.

I was wondering if there is anyone who has been following FL4I, Beyond Calories and/or the 10 rules for awhile now.  I want to start the program but would love some advice.  I would like to lose 30-40lbs.  Its hard for me to do the 11 day program often given my weekend social activities.  I am thinking of doing the 11 day FL4I program once a month, Beyond calories during the work week and following the 10 rules on the weekend.

If anyone that has been more experienced at this program and successful could let me know how they work this into their lives, that would be great.  I would love some inspiration and a mentor on this.

Hi, I know this post is old but I was wondering if you still follow FL4I and if you have any suggestions for me.   Also, do you follow this as a maintenance plan?

Audree, this diet can definately help you lose the weight. I lost 30 pounds last year in just a few cycles. I kept the weight off until the holidays when i could/would not contain myself with the food I ate. I am now back on the diet to lose the 10 pounds I put back on the the other 30 or so that I need to lose anyway.

When I was done with the diet last year I did not follow the diet to the letter. Just made the food selections based on the diet choices and made sure to eat plenty of protien. I did not gain any back until the end of the year holidays.

I cannot tell you if the diet will work as well if you are mixing them up, but you need to do what works best for you and will help you stick to it. I did not find the diet that hard to stick to with my weekend activities as I thought it would be. Good luck!!

Success Story

Well, I wanted to stop in and share my weight loss success with everyone.

I started FL4I back around 2/28/08 in an effort to fit into bridesmaid dress that I bought one size too small.

Since then, I have been switching between using the Diet Generator and Beyond Calories.

So far, I have lost 21 lbs.  My actual weight goal was 30 lbs, but I must admit that I have not been adhering strictly to the FL4I rules.  Everyone now and then it seems peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches call my name in the middle of the night, which have sometimes been topped off with cookies.

With that said, overall, I still think the weight loss was pretty good.

Hope this helps to encourage everyone, especially those late night cheaters like me.

Success Story

Hi, I thought I would share my story, for me it has been an emotional and an inspiring time. In the past 4 years I have lost my mother, father and sister to heart related deaths. Although I was somewhat prepared for the demise of my parents, my sisters death was quite a shock and a definite wake-up call! I think we sometimes block the reality of the health problems we put upon ourselfs when we are overweight. I know I did.

Earlier this year I had thought about joining a well known diet program where they send your food direct to your door but they were way too expensive for my pocketbook. So while searching the net for diets, I came across the "Calories Per Hour" forum. This is where I read about the Fat Loss For Idiots diet plan and after reading the positive posts from members that praised the diet, I decided to buy it and give it a try.

Well, I started the diet on Feb 20th of this year and so far have lost 28lbs! I lost 22lbs after the first 2 cycles (11lbs each cycle) and 5lbs from the 3rd cycle. I am now in the first part of my 4th cycle (1 lb loss so far).
I truly believe in this forum and the great support it offers from other members AND I am very proud to say, out of the initial 70lbs, I only have 42 lbs left to lose!!!
I hope this will help to inspire others.

I am 22 5'6" and i weigh 153.4

my boyfriend and i both went on this diet together and are now on our last cheat day of the first cycle. We both somehow lost exactly 5.4lbs each and are very excited. Starting again tomorrow and looking forward to it. I have never been so excited or motivated over a diet. This makes me feel energetic and happy, i cant stress enough how wonderful it is to eat a diet of foods i enjoy! I'm seldom hungry and i lost over 5lbs in less than two weeks. Than has never happened to me before. I know its less than the norm but im not in terrible shape. I have about 17 more pounds to go and i have never been below 140 since i was 16 so i might stagnate there. Even so, this will be the diet i use the rest of my life whenever i need to drop a couple pounds. Best part, you pay once and have it forever!

This is just great.
I think it's very important that people share their experiences because most of us tried so many other things that we are not sure anymore if there is anything out there that can really work.

Congratulations on you achievement and I hope to hear from you soon that you have reached your goal!!!

Success Story

 Hi all

I started FL4I on around Feb 18. using the DG. I lost 9 pounds after the first cycle.

Second cycle lost 3.5 pounds and third cycle lost 4. I did not strictly adhere to my 4th cycle and only lost .5 pounds.

Total lost...17 pounds after 4 cycles.

Started my 5th cycle today and I am going to adhere to the DG, no cheating or swapping food.

My goal is to loose 30 pounds but 40 would be awesome!!!!!!!!

I found this diet by accident looking for something new to try. After years of yo-yo dieting, being 47, and hormonal... nothing was working.

Yippee for the FL4I...it is working and the support from the great people on this forum.

We can do it!!!!!!

SUCCESS STORY

For all you newbies. I really want to share with you my success. I haven't written in lately but I have been reading everyones concerns. It is officially 2 months now(boy, that was fast!). I have NEVER completed a cycle yet due to my job and travel. I know this is no excuse but It's very hard on the road. DRUM ROLL PLEASE.... 22 pounds! I started at 1671/2 and now I'm 145! I love the way I feel. This is such freedom. I was a size 14 in pants and now getting 10-12's. The pants aren't lose they actually fall off! This is the only diet I lost tremedous amt of weight in the hips and thighs. Unfortunately I went for a bra fitting prior to losing weight and now I need to go back. Summer is going to feel good this year on the Jersey shore! WhoooHoo. 10 more to go. My husband is on it and men take direction well so he loves it. Not having alot of choices to make. Good luck everyone! HAPPY DANCE!!!

This is success in progress!

I began the diet on march 10th, but the four days before I began I had that nasty stomach flu and lost 8 pounds, which I classify as most of the water weight going bye bye. The first cycle I lost 10 pounds. The second cycle I lost 5 pounds. The third cycle I lost 5 pounds. The fourth cycle just ended today and I lost 7 more pounds, for a grand total of 35 pounds since March 6th, with 27 of those in four cycles. I have 72 pounds to go and feel absolutely confident that I will reach that goal on this diet!

Hello!  I'm sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I really wanted to ask a question of you guys.

I see that the diet is quite successful for people with 30-pound (ish) goals, but do you think it would be successful for a goal of 100+ pounds?  I mean, I'm not going to think of it as 100+ but rather 50 at a time until I'm there, but I'm wondering if the diet will stay effective for the entire stretch.  Of course, even if it only worked for 50 pounds, it'd be worth the money.  :P

These success stories are really inspiring, because I've been searching the internet forever trying to find "real-sounding" success stories to prove to me the diet isn't a scam.  :D  It sounds too good to be true!

Thanks!

Hi there!  I absolutely do think that it would be helpful for someone wanting to lose 100 pounds, or even 50.  I think the initial quick loss is very motivating, especially!  Stick around here because everyone is *really* supportive!

I am also 5 feet tall I now weigh 132 pounds into the 6th day and I have only lost to date 2.2 pounds- how quickly did you lose the 9 pounds over the course of the diet?

I think it took me 2 cycles to lose and keep off 9 pounds.  My daughter, on the other hand, lost 9 in her first cycle.  You can do it.

Hey all,

Okay here is the deal. I did this diet back in April. I was doing a biggest looser contest at my work. I won, by the way. I lost a grand total of 24 pounds from 4/1 to 6/4. Which is great and all however, when i did W4E i lost 9 my frist time and 6 the next. After that every time I did it, I lost nothing. I gave up on it, but I am leaving for vacation in about a month so I figured I can get one (maybe 2) cylcles in. I'm very nervous that its not going to do it for me. Are there anyone out there in my sistuation, where it stoped working. I did a total of 4 cylces and lost nothing on the last 2. If there are any ideas how to improve this let me know.

This is an update! I added 7 pounds to my goal, from wanting to lose 105 pounds to 112, first off!

The fifth cycle was a half cycle for me so I did not weigh on this one. The sixth cycle was done right before a week long vacation and I lost 6 pounds. After 10 days off the diet I began a 7th cycle and just finished yesterday. I lost 7 more pounds! 48 pounds so far!

I'm 4 days away from completing my second cycle.  I am almost shocked at the person in the mirror today, without clothing.  My pre-pregnancy shirt, fit me! last week I couldn't even close it, let alone button it like I did yesterday.  I haven't weighed myself yet, but I must be losin a crazy amount of weight.  I'm not used to that, instead, I'm used to strict dieting, and losing nothing! Today is veggie day for me.  I'm going to sautee green peppers and onions in a pot, then strain some pinto beans, add that and a jar of no sugar added (I think Ragu) pasta sauce, then some spices and I have my own version of chilli.  Some others add red beans instead but I'm too afraid to deviate from the menu.  So I'll let you all know what I weigh in at come this Sunday morning, my first cheat day.  You know my last three cheat days, I figured I was going to gain the weight back because I ate like a pig!

alright I couldn't help it.  I weighed myself today.  I'm down another 5lbs! That's 14lb loss in 22 days (that includes three cheat days).  That's amazing.  No diet has ever worked this good for me! I'm ten pounds away from my prepregnancy weight goal...and then from there I'll make more goals :-)

I see how it works, how it tricks the body.  The body can't deal with any calorie restriction for long periods of time so this one goes low and high so that the body doesn't catch on.  My fat cells are being outsmarted!!!!!!!!!

Yay! This is the first time I've dieted, and through the SUFFERING from the tiny amounts of food and only four sessions of eating per day this diet allows, cutting down my daily caloric intake more than 3000 calories, and nearly collapsing half the time from lack of carbs, surprisingly, it WORKED... and in 11 days, I lost 10 lbs following the diet. I'm rather surprised!
Going from 120 t0 110 lbs in only 11 days is super incredible.

Watermelon...eat until satisfied...that is the rule...don't limit yourself to tiny amounts of food....it  will eventually slow your metabolism.  Your weighloss was great but this is not a starve yourself plan:grin:

Hi sunshine,
I may have written a bit unclearly and I think you misunderstood, what I meant was tiny amount of food total, as in throughout the day. Not per meal. Like for an egg meal I'd have like 5 eggs and such. But the whole days worth of meals didn't compare to my usual days of eating loads of pizza, cookies, chocolate, and junk every minute of the day. So it was very difficult for me, as this diet was the lowest I've ever been on sugar.
But thank you for the concern! : )
Have you tried the diet?

I am new to the forum and this is my story…   I kept gaining weight and it seemed the more I gained the more tired and less energy I had.  My doctor kept saying it was my age.  I love when they blame age for everything!  I began to feel bad about my appearance and avoided things like my high school reunion, parties, etc.   When I went to buy new clothes sometimes I would breakdown in the dressing room because I was so unhappy with myself.  I hated buying “big” clothing and I couldn’t even stand to look at my body  in the mirror.  Even my face looked fat (as my oldest daughter so kindly pointed out one day).

So after about 2 years and 40 lbs. I demanded my doctor do “something” .  He ordered blood work and discovered I had hypothyroidism.  I knew there was something going on, as I didn’t eat large portions or overly fattening foods.  I ate small portions of healthy food and still gained weight!  Also my cholesterol was super high and I kept saying I don’t eat fried foods, and the things that are associated with high cholesterol.  Anyways, I went on meds and my cholesterol went down to normal after 3 months and my thyroid, which was almost inactive, is now normal, as well.  But I was left with the ugly task of losing all this weight I gained.  Uggh!  The things I tried were very hard and nothing seemed to work.  I stayed the same, but did not lose weight.  I was very discouraged, to say the least.

Then I found FatLoss4Idiots and thought, what the heck.  I began my first 11 day session on June 16th and I lost 8 pounds.  I was ecstatic!  I went back on after the 3 day break, and then blew it on the 4th of July weekend.  I was mad at myself, but I stayed on it for the remainder of that session and still lost 6.5 lbs.  After my 3rd 11 day session I lost another 7 lbs.  Now, I did gain 1.5 lbs on each of my 3 day off breaks, but I lost it every time, in addition to the weight loss I noted above.  I have lost 22 lbs total off my original weight when I first started this diet.   I did NOT exercise and still had these results.  AND I also drink one glass of wine almost every evening (I’m Italian… my excuse).

Observations:  I noticed that the sessions that I did not drink the recommended amount of water I lost less weight than when I drank 8-10 glasses per day.  Also, the first 11 day session I only drank wine every other day.  But the point is I have been losing weight consistently and faster than I thought was possible.  You know how when you get so much over weight it feels like it will be forever before you can feel thin again?  That feeling totally disappears once you see the results on this diet.  I have lost 2 pant sizes and in this short amount of time.  I would recommend this diet to anyone who really feels hopeless and wants to lose weight.  The only days that were hard for me were the fruit and veggie days (only 2 of the 11 days).  I felt a little hungry, but knew what the reward would be so toughed it out on those 2 days.  It really isn’t that bad since you really never starve yourself.  You just may not feel as satisfied shortly after eating, in my experience (on the fruit and veggie day only).

I have made up some recipes for some of the same foods I keep picking – to make them more appetizing and less blah.  I will check out the recipe forum here and see about contributing.  I am sooooo happy I found this diet!  People have really noticed the change the weight loss has brought about, but even more so... I feel great about myself again and I am only a little over half way to my goal.  Stick with it everyone!  It is so worth it! =)

Wow, congratulations webfairy!!
You have just helped me stay motivated, to go on a second round, I was just about thinking about quitting the diet since I just gained all my weight back (over the 3 day period where I consistently stuffed myself) Just before I read your post I had an entire box of cheezits in one sitting along with some pizza and I thought this diet was useless now that I've ruined it. But... now I'm inspired and think this weight will come off once again! and again, super congrats to you. That is an incredible success story... 8 lbs!! wow.

Watermelon, that makes me so happy that you are going to stick with it.  I will be supportive of you so if you feel like giving up, maybe I can find a way to give you my email address and you can email me and I can give you a pep talk! hehehe

This is the easiest diet, it is all planned out for you... all you have to do is follow it.  And best of all, it absolutely works!  Just stick to the food choices you made, drink your water and try to walk, if possible.  You can do it!  I make my food the night before and take my 3 meals to work in my little lunch cooler I bought,  I have my 4th meal when I get home.  I don't keep "bad" food around so I don't get tempted.  Every time I start feeling like I want to blow it, I think about how far I have come and how close I am to reaching my goal.  When, not if, I reach my goal, I will keep in mind how I felt before and how I now feel.

Tomorrow is Day 2 of my 5th session of 11 days.  Let's do this together and challenge eachother.  If you goof up, just keep on going - don't be hard on yourself.  But try to be strong when those donuts (or whatever your poison) are calling out "Come and get me?"  ;-)

Web fairy what a fantastic journey, you really have made me think even more positive about this plan (if that was possible).

On day 6 today of cycle 1 and feeling really great not craving anything the last couple of days, just focusing on my end result. Please keep posting to keep us all inspired.

Water melon- Please dont go :crying:.  I am really worried about my 1st lot of cheat days, maybe you just have a lesson to learn from this time so that next time you stop eating when you are full, only eat 4 meals and drink the water. We are all human and i have read many posts from losers on here who went off the rails on occasions but they just dusted themselves off, learnt from it and went on to loose huge amounts of weights.

You can safely give your email address by clicking on the persons name to the left of their post...a box will come up with options...click on PM(personal mail) and write a private post with your email in it.  I would write it out..such as...jenny at email dot com...as an extra precaution:grin:

See you both on the discussion!

Hi Sweedy!  You can bet on it!  It's nice that so many people with one common thread can be supportive of eachother even though we don't know eachother.  We don't always have others in our immediate lives that we can effectively talk to about weight issues, and here (in this forum) we all can relate, for the most part, and help each other through those times.  I love all the ideas people have for fruit & veggie days since those seem to be the hardest.  The recipes are a big one, for me anyways, in trying to not veer from the menu.

Hello to all, I just wanted to introduce myself and get involved. My name is DeVon and I am 20 years old. I've put on about 25pounds in the past 2 years and it is really showing on my short body. I lost both parents back in 05' (RIGHT AFTER I HAD MY SON.) so it was a HUGE emotional roller coaster for me. I gained weight then I lost weight, then I gained even more then it wouldn't go away. I've tried tons of diff diets and nothing has worked. I always give up when I don't see results. I've tried exercising, but just don't have the motivation. I felt like I would be fat, i would never be able to get rid of my weight and my fiance would never look at me the same. I thought of quitting myself over and over in the beginning, but I didn't. My fiance said to me please dont quit, you always quit and they hurt. I dont want to known as a quitter. I want to show him I can do this and I will. I am doing this for myself so I need to stick with it and get the weight GONE. So far I have lost 7lbs. So it's going great. I am just worried about the next cycle... we will see how it goes.

Hi MsWiley,

Keep up the good work. I am sure you will loose those 30 pounds in a matter of time.

Like you, I have about 30-35 pounds to loose too. We are on the same boat

I am on my 2nd cycle - 8th day. Do hope to see you on this site as you melt away.

Jaspergal and Sweedy,

Thank you for the motivation and support. I love having this forum, without it I would have quit for sure by now! At first I got huge cravings and just couldn't stop cheating. I cheated 3 times over a 2 day period, so I just decided to start over. I am now on day 7 tomorrow is veggie day 8, I'm looking forward to it. I have a really good minestrone soup recipe. I will keep you posted with my progress.

Jaspergal I'm only one day behind you so we can do this together. My last day is Monday, which worked out great for me because I work all weekend then Im off on tuesdays and wednesdays so YEA!! :thumbsup:  I weighed in, in the middle of the week, but I just had to, will let you know the final on Tuesday.

Sweedy thanks for the support, I was just wondering, did you exercise with this diet? How much weight have you lost? I know that we dont HAVE to exercise on the DG, but I feel like if I don't my stomach will look saggy. So I have this 8min Ab video, and I am goin to start walking.

Hi DeVon,

I had a good Veggie Day yesterday. I had made a lovely pot of Tomato Veggie Soup. It was really yummy and I can't believe that all the ingredients were on the allowed food and condiment lists .

Anyway, just wanna send you a cheer :sun:and hope you have a good veggie day too.

Ms. Wiley: Today will be my 11th day out of 5cycle. I swim once every week as my hobby. I'm glad we don't need strenous exercise for this diet, since am a medical student. I don't have that gyming time.

Hi DeVon,

How was your Veggie Day? I am completing my second cycle tomorrow and will start Cheat Day on Monday. I will most likely start cycle-3 on Wednesday, as I would like to adjust my cheat days to weekends.

Anyway, do hope all is well and look forward to hearing from you. Will let you know how much I have lost on Monday. Yet to check the scale .

Hi Sweedy, do join us on the general discussion.

Have a lovely weekend.

Thank you for posting this. It seems this is about my story.
congratulations to you and everyone else to your weight loss.
I am on my 3rd round and have lost 23 pounds so far. I like feeling lighter
I have noticed that if I sort of keep up with the 4 meals a day and watch what I eat and keep up the water intake, I don't gain during my 3 cheat days. Really, this diet is melting away the pounds, I actually don't feel like cheating. I want to keep going, but I realize that even those cheat days are important to keep that fat monster guessing.

Keep going everyone, it's a whole new feeling when pants don't fit because they're too big

Hi everybody:

I am new at this forum. After reading your success stories i decided to get FL4I. I am on my 20s and having overweight. I have tried pills, diets, exercising and much more. I have had some success but right now i am getting some weight back. So i decided not to let this go and give FL4I a try!

I am 5´and 3" and 147 lb. and additionally i am taking apidexin. This is my 5 day with apidexin ( no changes so far.....) I have had great experience on dieting and exercising. I used to weight 176 lb. almost 2 years ago and dropped lot of weight in s year and a half (I was 136) nevertheless i am again abroad and i got 10 pounds in almost 2 months. I dont want to continue increasing my weight and that is why i am here with FL4I.

Thank you all for your stories and i will appreciate any advice and or motivation!!!

good luck with your journeys and cycles !!!:apple:

Actually it doesn't work that way... this diet is different for each of us every single week...no one has the same menu with anyone else...this is all individualized by a computer program we access each cycle to print off our personal plan...called the diet generator.  If you are really interested in losing weight this will be the best money you could spend....I am now a size four to six!!  Go over to the discussion and you can ask some questions of others before you purchase if you'd like.  This is NOT a site connected with the FL4I sellers...we are just people who purchased the diet so you will get honest opinions.

We bought our plans in different places and at different prices...we are a global group...try googling FL4I and also try ebay.   Some paid the extra for the Beyond Calorie plan as an add on.  It is a onetime fee for life time access to the Diet Generator. It is very reasonable. I hope this helps!

webfairy, your post was very encouraging! I have also lost about 20lbs in three cycles on this diet.  You can get tired of doing the diet, but I found that adding alot of variety (choosing alot of foods you wouldn't normally choose) helps.  I have not been able to lose this much weight on any other diet.  I think with other diets there's such a grey line on what you can have.  So you cheat without even realizing it! This diet is pretty streight forward, knowing exactly what's OK.

I thought I would update my "success story" since I recently ended the diet.

I started the diet on June 16, 2008 at 182 lbs. and ended on October 31, 2008 at 136.5 lbs.  I lost a total of 45.5 lbs. in 4.5 months.  For anyone who is skeptical of this diet... DON'T BE!  I felt great the whole time and I feel and look great now!  This diet has not only changed the way I look, but it has changed the way I feel and I am happier than I have been... well, since I can remember!  I hated going to social gatherings due to my weight, I hated clothes shopping as I looked FAT in everything and nothing looks flattering when you are overweight, and I felt horrible about myself.  Now, I can't wait for the holdiay parties and get togethers, I love clothes shopping, and everyday I look at myself in the mirror and I am proud of what I have accomplished and how it has changed my life.  This diet works!

To those of you who've reached your goal weight, do you all intend to stay on FL4I or are you switching to other meal plans?

I love this dietand now that I've reached my goal weight, I'm at the point where there are days where I have little to no will power.

I want to try to reach my ideal weight but I've reached a serious plateau and I can't seem to drop below 154.

RenuZit - Thanks!  And good for you to make the move and get started!  There are so many times I looked back and thought.. "if only I had started last month, last year", etc.  I kept thinking that if I had, I would have already been thin by now.  Then finally I got sick of myself complaining, and feeling the way I did and looking the way I did, and I got off my butt and did something.  And to my amazement, it was over before I knew it and I was thin!  I just mentioned the other day on the general discussion thread, that I had to pinch myself for a couple months, as every time I woke up and looked in the mirror, I could not believe I was really thin! I kept thinking I was dreaming and I would wake up and be overweight again.  But it was true and I am still thin, over 4 months later.  I haven't gained any weight back at all.  This diet is so amazing and I am looking forward to hearing how you do.  Introduce yourself on the general discussion thread and ask any questions you may have, as it can help a lot to make this plan work well for you!   Good luck!

I can't sleep tonite (just bought it today and am reading it through). I'm going to plan everything out and set a date when I start.

Wish me luck!

Janine and Nan - Welcome!  I can't wait to hear your stories and see how the diet works for you.  You will love this forum!  So when you are ready, why don't you both hop on over to the FL4I general discussion thread, and introduce yourselves, and see if we can be of help. The support here is outstanding and it really helps to keep many on track.  Hope to see you over there!!

Hey there

Here's my quick but very nice success storie :-)

I am reading through the forum for months.. Especially the FL4I section.. But my problem was that I just READ .. I didn't take action.

Almost one week ago I finally decided to purchase the diet plans and it was really one of the best decisions ever!

I am on day 6 of my first cycle now and I've already lost 5 pounds. For me this is just awesome!

Hi...I have lost 25 pounds total....I'd have to check my records to see how far I had come by then...and we are all packed up for a move.  I am petite and a slow loser. I am a size 4/6 now and maintaining my losses well.  I am just thrilled to have lost when all the other plans were no longer working for me.  It seems to have healed my metabolism too because I no longer suffer from low blood sugar symptoms.  Migraines are gone too!  I also discovered that I am gluten intolerant by following this plan...and that has been a real revelation!  I feel and look so much better!

WOW!! I am so impressed.  You are tiny. I need to lose 25 also, I hope I do it as well as you did.

I am like Webfairy, I am hypothyroid and it is very hard to lose.  I have not been able to find just the right amount of meds but at least I have been successful on this diet, after I have also tried many. I have only been diagnosed about 4 months ago It is a long process to find the right combination.

I will be very happy at 130 that would make me a size 6, that is what I was a few years ago.  I am enjoying t his diet except for the boring days of all fruit and veg, I can handle the veg better.

Good luck to all you losers!
