I have been taking alli for several months and things have been going great for me. Averaging 1 to 2 lbs loss per week. But the last month and a half i have been slowly gaining it back. I have not changed what i am doing that is what is so weird. Is it possible that my body has gotten used to the alli and it is not responding to it any more.

The effect is supposed to be that some of your fat calories are 'discounted' but remember that weight loss is still a function of calories in (slightly reduced in this case) vs calories out. [Check out the calculators and tutorial on this site.] May I ask what calorie deficit you believe you are creating?

The whole problem with the calories in and calories out is that it is like a financial budget.  Most people are in debt today because they can't figure it out.  Same thing with being overweight.  Plus fast food is too easy and cheap.

Have you heard about the cookie diet? I have lost 10lbs in 2weeks and not  hungry.  Also has anyone heard about this chocolate you can eat to lose weight?

Read the tutorial, use the BMR & RMR calculator to figure out an appropriate calorie level, journal your food?

Is Alli something that you have to be on forever, in order to maintain your loss though?  That's what I'd be afraid of.  Just curious.

The cookie diet is Dr Siegal's Cookie diet. you can order online at cookiediet.com
I was on vacation for the last 2 weeks and only gained back a couple of pounds.
Seems to be working for me.

Hi Michelehall1123,

Why don't you try some natural ways such as exercising and balanced meal to loose weight ? I think instead of taking pills natural ways are beneficial to people who want to loose fat.

Ya know...if your stalled, you might add in some weight lifting to your workout, if you do workout...sometimes changing up your exercise routine helps!!

Make sure you change up your workout routine and make sure your food intake isn't over what it should be

Hi Hellrazor

I have changed my workout completly and I am doin more exercise also i have been weighing every piece of food i eat in order to stay within the portion sizes.  But it just feels like if i have a really good week of eating i just cant seem to get any results.  Im finding it impossible to loose the last 26 pounds i have left to reach my target.  Thanks for the advice

Well are you sure you are eating the right amount of calories. Possible reasons could be to much food or to little food. Do you know what your rmr is for your activity level?
