I've never been the kind of person who could stick with a diet or exercise program. They just never worked for me! I searched the internet for YEARS, literally, trying to find something to help me. I spent so much money, and so much time. It made me really depressed because it was all gimmick after gimmick after gimmick. Well guys, I FOUND IT! I did some serious research and found Proactol, a product I believed in. So I went out on another limb and I tried it, for $90. Well, needless to say I've kept using it for the past 5 months and have lost 63 pounds I never believed would go away. It was worth the money 100 fold. I just can't believe it when I wake up in the morning and see my flat stomach and athletic legs. :) Good luck to everyone and if you don't ever try my method that worked, I hope you find something else thats perfect for you! :) Best of luck! -Carrie Last edited on 18 December 2007 09:20 am by |

Hi, I have really been looking into proactol for quite some time now. I'm just so skeptical when it comes to any pills at all. What was your starting weight (if you dont mind me asking) and what kind of diet/exercise did you maintain? If any? I have gotten so close to ordering it, but hesitate and never do. I would like to hear more about your experience if you don't mind sharing! Thanks!!! |

I am so000 Happy for YOUR SUCCESS! Is this pill like ALLI*? This Alli is making all the news at this time. Alli is a fat-binder,and not a stimulent. I think it is rather costly, too. Thank You! Your Friend, Kosmik Elf |

Please say that you were being truthful about losing 63 lbs with Proactol. I am at the end of my rope. I walk every day, I do not over eat, my thyroid is fine and I still can't lose weight. Even my Doctor can't understand why pounds aren't falling off of me. I just purchased a bottle of Proactol today, I am hoping and praying that this will work. If it doesn't, I don't know how much more I can take. My self esteem is so low and I'm so depressed, I feel that if I don't see some sort of result from Proactol, I'll just lose my mind. I would appreciate any positive and truthful feedback about Proactol. Thank You, Antonette |

Antonette, I may have to disappoint you. The original poster 'Carrie/watchingthestars86' who posted the original item: well initially it was of the form "I lost 63 pounds in 5 months ask me how". I sent them a message to ask how and in response they tried to sell me Proactol so I suspect that they were not genuine - just yet another affiliate trying to make money. Perhaps I should have just deleted the item rather than edit it. But as you've purchased the drug and are intent on taking it, perhaps you'll let us know how you get on. It could never hurt to read the tutorial, too. |

Antonette, Make use of the forums! Post in the I'm Stuck forum, and tell us what you eat in a typical day and what you do for exercise. These forums are full of people wanting to help you. Did your doctor discuss your food selection, intake, and exercise in detail? They don't usually have the time. Peter |

I agree! PROACTOL is AMAZING!! I have lost 37 pounds in 3 months!! I have been walking on the treadmill as well, but only when I can find time. There is no possible way I could have lost this much weight in this short amount of time with Proactol and I feel great! I have felt no side effects because it is 100% natural. I wish someone would have told me about this amazing product earlier. I highly suggest you give it a shot, at least take a look at the website. Good Luck. Ok the night before last this post was placed on discovery home and health weight loss support forum. I thought I would post on here as I am a real person who is taking Proactol. I have been taking it since Friday last week and will post regularly with my results. I am slightly skeptical at the moment because I have just discovered some negative posts on other forums about it which I wish I found before I paid £70 for 2 months worth! Any negatives on pills usually change my mind about buying them. Anyway, I will post back on Friday and let you know how I am getting on on a weekly basis. If they don't work then I wouldn't want anyone else wasting their money. I hope you all find my diary helpful. |

banditbabe, That would be great! I'm always trying to encourage that. If the people that post about pills aren't selling them, they are usually someone excited to try another miracle diet pill. And when it fails, they never think to post back and share THAT with us. Peter |

Hi Peter, don't worry, if it doesnt work I will let you know, just as I will do if it DOES work. Just for the record though I have lost a pound so far but I am not going to record any weight loss until Friday morning as I will be doing this on a weekly basis. Just a word of warning though as I discovered when I got my pills - when they say it is 1 month's worth, it isn't. It is 120 pills and sometimes you need to take 3-4 with each main meal so it really is only 1 month's worth if you are continually eating low fat meals or eating 1 main high fat meal and nothing else that day (4 pills per day)! |

OK - results for week one: no weight loss unfortunately, however I have lost 1 inch off my waist so good news in that aspect. Will report back for week 2 next Friday! |

Hi there. . . I started to take PROACTOL yesterday. I really hope it works. I've gain 40 pounds in less than two years. I started taking synthroid because I was diagnosed hypothyrodism. I also started taking zoloft due to some anxiety problems. This is the very first time in my life that I've had this problem and I am DESPERATE! I don't know if it's the zoloft what is making me gain weight, or if it's because I am 39 and I am hitting the scary 40's changes. Yet, the lab tests results show that my thyroid is just fine.Plus, I am a very active person, I exercise daily:30 to 45 minutes per day. Can somebody tell me more about using PROACTOL? Has somebody experienced similar problems with zoloft and synthroid and is trying to loose weight? Thanks! |

I am new to this site but there are some interesting topics. I am not familiar with the proactal, but i did find something called Phentramine D. I have lost 58 pounds, and have about 40 more to go. It has helped me to lose weight beside watching what i eat and walking every morning. It makes me not hungry and gives me more energy. there site is slimeffects.com. Try it it might help someone else |

I know. . . .I was quite surprised too! Yes, I changed my eating habits in terms of 'eating schedule'. I have a great breakfast (oatmeal, bread, cheese, and some fruit), but the most important meal to me now is lunch. So, right after lunch (around 1 p.m.), I take the pills and I am not hungry AT ALL until 7 p.m.. I have a plate full of salad, and a wheat toast. I use the regular salad dressing, BUT I am avoiding diet cokes, juices, etc. I increased my daily dose of water: from 2 liters to 3 liters (12 glasses). And lastly, before going to bed, I need to walk at least 15 minutes. If I am hungry I;ll have a fruit right after walking, and that's all. Hope it works for you, same as it works for me. Have you increased your level of energy somehow? How about your apetite? I am not hungry once I take the pills, and I can't sleep if I take the pills right before going to bed. They make me hyper. Is that a normal sympton? But all I can tell is that I am feeling good. Cross fingers for keeping it up. Good luck to all! |

Well I did find to start with that they didn't seem to be supressing my appetite at all but on Friday I went out for a pasta meal and had dessert. I thought it must have been a high fat meal so I took 4 tablets (as per instructions on packet) and after felt really bloated and full and actually felt sick because I was so full. When I had my meal last night it was quite high fat so I took 4 again and had the same feeling - there was no way I could have eaten anything at all after that. However, when I just take 2 they dont seem to make me feel full so maybe I need to increase to 3 because 4 just seems to make me feel nauseous. What annoys me though is that 120 pills are not a month's supply - especially if I am taking 6 per day - that would only be 20 days worth thus making the pills cost approx £60 per month - now that is REALLY expensive - it would be cheaper to go to the gym! |

Hey there runner geek answer to your question. Apparently Proactol is one of the best weightloss pills out there, with no symptoms. It burns 28 or 30% of food you take in. I'm still looking to see how legit it is. I'm about to hit send to buy this product. It's www. proactol.com You can do your own research too. I need to lose about 50 pounds to feel very comfortable. |

Banditbabe: I do think you need to lower your fat levels in your meals, so you can let the pills work more effectively in burning the fat that is accumulated in your body. Pills help, but we need to do our job as well. I am trying to walk at least 10 to 15 minutes per day, perhaps this is also helping me. Seriously, I was hitting the lowest levels of depression because of my unstoppable weight gain. My first 5 pounds lost (in less than a week) had helped me feel confident that I will make it. I need to go loose 45!!!!!!!!! Thanks for your emails. It's good to share and listen to others' experiences. Keep it up! |

Those two occasions were the only high fat meals i had in that week. For the rest of the week I had been eating healthy, low fat meals - hey, give me a break - we all need a treat once in a while!! If I am not losing weight purely by having 2 high fat meals in one week and taking Proactol then it can't be working as well as it claims to. But, as I did lose 1 inch off my waist it was was a good start for me. |

Thanks. Is it one of those pills similar to Xenical or Meridia that blocks absorption of fats? I've always had a high carb, low fat diet, so I don't think those types of pills would work for me. I exercise a good bit, tho. If I didn't run like I do, I'd be in serious trouble b/c I would have to eat less to maintain my weight. I would definitely need a pill to suppress my appetite. Do you take the pill after meals? I'm so hyper, i'd be scared a pill like that would make me a little crazy! xx |

Runner Geek - Congrats on quitting smoking!! That is very hard to do. As far as these pills go, I am always pretty skeptical about "quick fixes" like this. Is it one of those things you would have to take forever to keep the weight off? |
|||||||
|
Linda83 New Member

Hey Christyandmuddy, I know what you mean about these quick fixes but i still try them anyways. But no this isn't one of those you have to take forever to maintain your weight. Even when one loses weight by exercise and eating normally you have to do the same to maintain. But it doesn't mean because you're using pills to lose weight you have to continue using them maintain just exercise and eating healthy to maintain. |

Ok, here is me again. No more pounds lost so far (apart from the 4 1/2 that I told you about). I started a week ago with proactol. The only good thing that I can tell you is that I have lots of energy (not to the level of hyperness-but to the level of stay awake until I finish my daily walk-around 11:30 to 12:00). Before taking proactol, i was in a sleeping mode the entire day. So that's good news. Also, I have lost my apetite, or should I say: I am not hungry after taking my two pills after lunch and two pill in my 'light' dinner. I bring with me grapes or carrots in my backpack to school as a snack. BUT, I have to say that I've been having a chocolate bar every single day, cause its my addiction: chocolate makes me happy, makes me feel healthy :) On Sunday, I went to treat myself with a nice Chocolate Sundae too. . .Last night, I got a super iced mocha from SBs :) Hey, as Bandit says, we are all humans and I just can't be so hard on myself :) I still have 40 pounds to go, so PLEASE keep in touch. It's fun to share and to read your experiences! |

Well just over 2 weeks on Proactol and NO WEIGHT LOSS. 1 inch off the waist but thats all. To be honest I have been eating low fat foods, maybe having the odd binge now and again but nothing particularly bad. Proactol kind of promotes that you can still eat what you want and still lose weight. Well, in my opinion this is NOT TRUE. Maybe I havent given it enough time but I would have expected to see some sort of results by now considering that I have consumed £20 worth of tablets!! I will continue with the 2 months supply that I purchased and if I have not had positive results by then I will not be getting any more. Unfortunately, their money back guarantee only counts if you purchase around 6 months worth of pills but if it isnt working I do not want to continue for another 4 months with no results and would rather move onto something else or maybe just try a low fat, low calorie diet with exercise instead! So, if after this two months I have negative results I will definitely feel very cheated having spent £70 on this. Maybe they just don't work for me but if you go to the official proactol forum there seems to be similar results there too. Overall very disappointed but its still early days and I will keep you posted! |

Banditbabe: Hey, please don't loose hope. I am stucked too. I lost 4.5 pounds on my first week, however I've gain 1 pound over the last 4 days!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I haven't exercised as much as I did the first week. I do keep track of my fat calories, though. I feel that my body needs a break from unhealthy stuff. Perhaps that was part of my 'first try' success with Proactol. Thanks for keeping us posted! I'll try to do the same. |

Eating that everyday won't help you at all, you might end up adding weight. I'm using proactol myself and yeah i don't see the pounds off on the scale but the funny thing is my clothes fit a bit better and i've been on it for about 1 week and a half. I did lose some inches, i need to figure out how many exactly. Guys you should go to this site http://www.debramoorhead.com/blog/?p=95 This seems to help me a lot. I will start on that and incorporate it with Proactol. |

Hi banditbabe and skinnyhope....i have been reading about your comments on proactol. Im just wondering how both of you are doing? I just recieved my pill today and i will be trying them from tomorrow on...and at least till the pill are all gone. (i had already order my pills before i came to this site) I havent heard anythng negative till i came to this site after a lot of searching for negative comments on this pills. so far this is the only site that has post non success stories on proactol. But im goin to try them anyways. Do either one of you know where it says how many pills to take per meal? on the box it just generally says to take 1-3 pills. If you both have any other feed back i would love to hear it. talk to u soon. |

hello mistyeyes, well if you've eaten food that contains a large amount of fat then yes take 3 pills but if you've had a moderate amount then take 1 or 2. Those are the only directions there are out there. I've researched it, i believe it's also on their site on the FAQ section |

OK - latest update. I have only lost modest amounts of weight since starting proactol - around 3 - 4 pounds but have lost at least 2.5 inches. However, I have been doing lots of exercise and watching what I eat. To be honest I firmly believe this would have happened without the proactol. But, to be fair, I originally thought that proactol did not suppress my appetite but I have noticed that if I take 3 tablets, regardless of how high in fat the meal was it does have modest appetite suppressant qualities. I tend not to go to the cupboard after I have eaten that meal and go looking for goodies as I always have done before. I have also noticed that when I do not take them I have the munchies again. So, all in all I feel they are OK if you want to conrol your hunger but I think there are cheaper ways of doing this that wont cost you around £50 a month! I will not be buying anymore but looking for something which just has appetite suppressant qualities like maybe a fibre supplement or such. I hope this helps! I think the makers of proactol should greatly reduce the price and stop hyping about it so much because it really isnt as amazing as they make out, well not in my personal experience anyway. This actually has taught me that the only real way to lose weight and keep it off is to follow a calorie controlled diet with plenty of exercise! Last edited on 31 May 2008 11:23 am by banditbabe |

Ok, after 2 weeks of proactol NO weight loss whatsoever. In this two weeks i really changed my eating habits, no snacks and very healthy eating. I m doing Montignac cause it worked for me before, i would still be skinny if i would stick to it. I m also doing more sport then before. Every day an hour. I m beggining to think that i would loose at least half a kg if i wouldnt be taking pills. The only thing i notice is that i have dry mouth all the time (which is good) and that if i eat 3 pills i cant eat anything more that day, which i think is also wrong for my methabolism. Anyway, i will be taking the pills till the end, hopefully smth happens. And i hope that the pills are not actually working against Montignac. Anyone has any clue about that? |

I'm taking it and working out. I don't think the Proactol helps much but I've been using Turbo jam and I've lost 4pounds already in one week. Wooohoooo!!!!! No stopping this time because i'm seeing results finally. I thought I was having thyroid issues. |

nsk, if the Montignac diet worked for you before then stick to it. Since the Montignac diet has to do with glicemic index and certain amounts of carbs and fats for it work. Proactol will take away 28% of the fat you need in that diet therefore not allowing the Montignac diet to work effectively. You can calculate to see if what you're doing it fine or wrong, I'm not sure. |

Linda83, you re right about that i should stick to Montignac, the only problem is that after a while of montignac i have enormous lust for pizza or smth similar which is a deadly sin in this diet/life style. Plus it takes ages to start loosing weight and i just really needed some initial motivation.Anyway i don t think less fat is an issue with montignac, because he also advises less fat. I was thinking more in direction of blood sugar level and what proactol does to that. By the way what is Turbo jam? Will google it. Keep on with the good work |

Hey nsk, Turbo jam is a work out DVD Session from Charlene Johnson, it's the best i've ever done. Just today I see a reduction in my stomach area. I bought the Turbojam Maximum Results, it's awesome. Youtube shows people working out using Turbojam and you can watch the informmercials on youtube. Yep always research it, take a week or so to see if it's what you really want. I believe Proactol does work but slowly and if you workout with it it's a HUGE PLUS. |

hi everyone - i got proactol a few months ago and yes - i did lose some weight - about 4-5 pounds pretty fast and i was watching what i ate and excerciesing too. But - the same things always happens after i lose weight .... i start to think 'ah good - im the weight i want to be .... i can eat what i want and dont need to bother with the gym' .... and then i end up putting the weight on again! (surprise surprise!) I think the problem i have with proactol is that it does not reduce my appetite at all - although i do 'see' the fat coming out when i go to the toilet so i do believe that it does go in some way to help me reduce my weight. Anyway - im back on the proactol - i have just bought another 2 month supply - but this time - i am also going to try apidexin which i found on the internet which is suppose to burn your own body fat (not the stuff you are ingesting like proactol does) and reduce your appetite. I took my first apidexin tablet today before lunch and only managed to eat half my lunch. i also took x2 proactol straigt after. will let you know how i get on. |

Proactol - proven diet drug that burns fat Something that makes Proactol unique from all of the other natural fat burning pills of the past is that Proactol has a wide range of tests and studies backing it up. Conclusive studies have been performed where patients that take Proactol are measured and examined next to people who take no weight loss supplement at all. What were the conclusions? People taking Proactol to lose fat were blocking on avearge 27.4 percent of the fat from being absorbed into the body! Losing weight in a healthy manner has never been this easy, because from the first time you take proactol you help your body block fat and cholesterol from enterting into your system. A lady at work was taking Proactol too and she has lost heaps of weight - not sure exactly how much but I would guess at least 30 pounds.... previously she always seemed to be on a different diet every week - she has done really well though. Last edited on 7 December 2008 02:49 pm by |

Proactol has been featured in a prestigious magazine in the USA called Florida Style, as one of the best ways to lose weight after women have given birth and have stopped breast feeding. |

Just to clear something up. Proactol is not a fat burner, it 'binds fat' which is different. Fat burners are generally the cause of side effects in a lot of people. Some people have amazing results with it, others not so - the human body is a strange thing. At least they offer a money back guarantee if you buy three months supply. |

I've just started taking Proactol and will keep everyone informed of my progress.....one thing I have noticed whenever I do have a thought about food I know I shouldn't have, it not necessarily the effect of the pills which stop me but the amount of money I've spent on them. I keep thinking 'that will be a total waste of money'. So maybe there is something in that!!!! |

That did make me smile. On the money angle, I guess if the pills make you eat less you'll cut down on your grocery bill. |

Hi Just want to say that I finished using my supply of Proactol and it was a complete waste of money. I also noticed that people who promote Proactol are sponsored links or have a vested 'money' interest. Don't waste you're money I won't patronize you by telling you what to eat to loose weight, you are you're own expert. You can follow my experience of using Proactol in Diary of a Desperate Mother of the Bride. A really good book to read if you want ways to make you think about over eating and why we do it, is Think Yourself Thin by Debbie Johnson. You can get it free online. |
