I can have days where I will be very careful of what I eat and how much I eat, but it doesn't  seem to make a difference w/the scale, thinking of checking on some diet pill to control my appetite maybe that will help.:dizzy:

I lost 4 pounds so my weight is 226 from 230 . I am happy of all of use for at least trying. Keep shooting for the stars:shooting_star:, and don't give up even after this challenge let keep it together. Any more challenge ideas from anyone?

If you do, you should start a brand new thread, IMO, so that anyone who did this one but doesn't want to do the next one, and anyone who didn't do this one, but does want to participate in the next one, can post accordingly.

Hello again :) Weighed in at 142lbs, a loss of 1.8lb this week [although in actuality my last weigh in was on Thursday, so that was five days ago. Woo].

Two more pounds to go, I hope I can manage it!

Hi ACW, feel free to start a new thread when this challenge is over, we have only 6 days left, and I for one, did not make my goal, but, I am not giving up, the closer I can get to it the better for me.

Final progress report 7 weeks after challenge start date [April 8th].

My 7-day morning weigh-ins average to Sunday, May 27th: 56.4kg (124.3lbs). Start weight was 57.7kg (127.1lb) so I'm down 1.3kg (2.8lb) in 7 weeks. 56.4kg is my average, my weight actually varied from 55.5 to 57.5 during these last 7 days. My body fat% has been reported in the range 12.8%-14.5% during the last 7 days (average value: 14.0%).

EDIT: here are graphs showing how my weight responded to my calorie zig-zagging during the challenge period

If you do not mind me asking Nir... how are you checking your body fat?  I feel that is just as important... but other than having a professional do it... i do not know any other way... Thanks:smile:... right now it is still May 26th... Hawaii time... i will have my weigh-in results in the morning for me.

Also Soontobeme... i do not have a problem participating in the next challenge... but i can not be responsible for recording and tracking others progress... i was just merely suggesting another challenge...

My morning ritual: 1. go to the toilet 2. wet my feet (my scales sometimes say 'Error' if my feet are dry) 3. step on my BIA scales and make a note of the reported weight and body fat percentage.

I also have calipers, but I don't use them every day. They're not as exciting to use  because I always measure 11 milimetres (according to the supplied tables, for my sex and age, 10-11mm is 13.7%, 12-13mm is 15.7%)

I don't mind running the next one if there's no one else who wants to do it! 4th July is 5 weeks as of this Wednesday [30th May], which is pretty soon after the end of this challenge. Does everyone want a week break and make the next one a 4-week challenge [starting on the 6th June] or shall we just plough on?

P.S. I'm sticking to my Tuesday weigh-ins regardless, so I'll post my final weight then.

Hi Everyone,  I am going to post the weigh in's a little later this morning.  Junetwin2, if you want since tomorrow is Memorial Day, you may weigh in again and see if any of the weight is gone, otherwise, we will leave your post.  I have decided to wait to get on the scale until I have been awake for a while, I seem to hold water first thing in the morning.

Thank you Morbidlemom for doing the next challenge.  I just found that I could not do this one justice, being so busy at work and all, and I apologize to all of you for not being able to offer the encourgement that the challenge warranted.

I think that if you want to start the next challenge on June 6th that should be up to you as you are the one who will be running it, no one said that we have to stop just because there is not a challenge going on.

Well, I need to go so that I can get my day going.

As I said I will do the posts later, and keep them updated all weekend.

Well personally I think you've done a great job with this challenge!

I didn't mean to imply we would stop just because of there being no challenge, but I think a 5-week challenge would be better - and people can always join later anyway! I'll start a thread for it either later or tomorrow unless anyone else has an itching to run a challenge

I think that a 5 week challenge is great too..........I will look for it soon, and thank you.  I just feel like I did not do as good as a job as I could have, but lately life outside of my weight loss has taken over.  And I was still at 212 lbs......didn't make my goal, but at least I didn't gain.

well, i weighed in today at 117.  but- and here's the big BUT- i think it is partially due to dehydration.  though, i have never been that low due to dehydration before.  and, i ate well yesterday, so i shouldhave been retaining water as well.  usually, after a night of going out, i will be either right on or elseup or down by 1 lb.  usually up. sometimes up by more (then it goes away the next day or so).  so i am not really sure what to make of this.  i like the number and i guess i will submit it for now, but i will recheck my weight before i start the 4th of july challenge.

I did not reach my goal for Memorial Day. My goal was a loss of 9 lbs. to put me at 169. I am currently 174 so I've only lost 4 lbs. Oh well, atleast I didn't gain. My goal for the 4th of July is 168 which would be a loss of 6 lbs. I will be on vacation in Yellowstone during the 4th so I'll have to weight in when I return.
