| Ephedra should not be banned. I use Ephedraxin from Totaldugs24.com and it works good. If used in the correct doses and sensibly, it is a very helpful herbal drug. Last edited on 17 January 2009 07:39 pm by Brenda65

Hey there. well, since you asked about ephedrine, I will give you my personal experience... I have tried most of the diet pills on the market, and guess what. There is no magic pill. Sure, I lost initial weight using amphetamine based pills.. but the migraines, heart pulpitations and sleepless nights I suffered from made it impossible to take for long periods. I lost weight, then gained all of it back (plus some extra)
Ephedra is natural (sure what drug isn't??) but just because something is natural it doesn't mean that you can just take it!
Due to all the dieting and re-gaining weight, I started to look terrible. But it all just eventually showed me that there is NO magic pill that will take away all your fat and make you slim, like all those magazine women. In fact, they don't even look like that.. they would love to look as sexy as they do on the magazine photos..
Trust me, exercise and eating less yet healthier is ALL that works!
GOOD LUCK

hiya
just to let you know i was 14stones and came a cross epredrine i used it for 6 months and lost in total 4 stones, but i lost touch with the person i use to get it from and put on 1 stone 7lbs now
When i was on them i use to get the racy heart beats and the shakeniess but you get use to it.
I have now got some from an online store but it is not working but it does cut my appetite by half. If i stop i put on more weight, so i am going to start doing more exercise and see.
A lot of poeple here in london use it to stay in shape and have an energy boost it worked really really well before but the guy i use to get it from left town so i am stuck with the ones from the online stores till i find a good one

Ephedrine is one of the most dangerous of the dietary supplements.
Ephedrine alkaloids are amphetamine-like compounds with potentially powerful stimulant effects on the nervous system and heart. Hundreds of illnesses have been reported by users and doctors.
Most of these cases involve heart attacks or high blood pressure leading to bleeding in the brain or stroke! Epredrine is not something to play around with, you could end up lying in a bed with tubes sticking out of you to feed you and help you breathe. I think I would rather be a few kg's overweight than be a vegetable!
And incase you were wondering many deaths, due to Ephedrine, have been reported as well, so next time you pop a dietary supplement that has ephedrine (or any other amphetamine type compound in it) remember that you are not helping yourself at all.
People have mainly reported that the weight piles back on again once you stop taking the drug, so the weight loss will be temporary at best.
Be careful when you buy diet drugs, you only have one body and one life!

I have just had a look at the website just-ephedrine.co.uk and I think it is terrible that one can still buy these tablets online! I know for a fact that they have become much more difficult to get in most countries.
Please think before you buy any of these types of pills as it could be the last thing you do before either dying or sitting for the rest of your life in a wheel chair!

I too have read articles about the bad effects of ephedrine. I don't think it is advisable to take them for any reason at all.

I have used ephedrine before and I have also done a lot of research into it. A lot of people have varying opinions about the drug.
When I tried it, my heart rate went through the roof and because of that I stopped taking it. However I know others that have used it and they didn't get the raised heart rate.
It effects people in different ways. The best way to loss weight is though healthly eating and exercise. Weight takes a while to put on so it's gonna take a while to get rid of it and keep it off.
