Has anyone tried Akavar 20/50? I read the back of that box and it seems really promising. I read some other reviews in a google search and like 90% of people were happy with it! I'm 20 years old and I am 5'3 and weigh almost 160 pounds. I just had a baby 2 months ago and can't seem to shake this weight. I would to lose 45 pounds and I just started a diet this morning of not eating sugar and counting calories. Eventually I'm going to get back into going to the gym but I would like to have a huge jumpstart and use something that'll keep me motivated because I'm so tired allllll the time.

can i ask how many calories you are consuming? that could very well be why you are tired all of the time.
and pills, really, you ought not to waste your money. that funny thing about akavr is they say that you can "eat all you want" without gaining weight. well apparently there is a mild appetite suppressant in it... so i guess you don't really want to eat more.. you can have take out three times a day and still expect to lose weight. they're kind of misleading that way....
also, they throw it out there "we couldn't print it if it wern't true!".. well, sorry, but stuff that isn't true gets printed all of the time.... especially with diet pills. it's like they are mocking the whole diet pill industry and people don't see the irony...
eat nutritious food, drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep, and believe it or not, when you start to work out, you will have more energy. and make sure you are eating enough to sustain your body. all of htis will help dramatically.
if there were a diet pill that worked, everybody would buy it and be thin....
but that's just my humble opinion.

Yes be careful with anything that affects your mood, even if they claim to be natural. I remember when I was trying to loose weigh after my 2nd son was born. I was feeling bad cause the weight was not comming off. so someone recommended a great chinese herbal suppliment that would claim all the same things you mentioned. I tried it and yes I feel good, (I thought at first) I didnt feel tired, I didnt eat as much, but I noticed one very terrible thing. I lost ability to have "patience"
With the little ones this scared me. My sons were the most important thing to me and I spent alot of time with them and they were really good kids, but I noticed I couldnt stand loud sounds and though they were not loud kids, I found myself not having the patience. I remember getting snappy with them, really badly.
I got off the diet aids and found that I felt much more calm. Just watch your moods and emotions, cause if it affects your appetite its doing something to the way your brain is working.

Hi Havason,
Wanted to let you know that I was one of the suckers that went to walmart and bought a $30.00 bottle of Akavar 20/50. It didn't do anything. I felt exactly the same as if I hadnt taken anything. I took the whole bottle over thirty days and did not lose an ounce. I went on a low calorie, high exercise diet two weeks ago, and have lost 3 pounds. Don't waste your money! The company is getting sued for fraud.
Good luck!

Thanx for your input, im sure many will appreciate it. Like the old saying, if a pill could work, there'd be no overweight problems.
Out of curiosity, how did it make you feel? Any shakiness? any odd feelings?

A friend of mine lost 60 lbs & I asked her how... she showed me her bottle of Akavar & I bought it 2 days later... I'm on day 3 now of Akavar. I don't notice many side effects... I was a little jittery at first, but I never have caffeine, so I expected it.
What I don't understand is, if it works as an appetite suppressor, & that's the basis of how you lose weight... Why would my friend (& her mother too) have lost so much weight when she said she didn't change her diet or exercise?
I hoping it works as well for me as it did her.

Yes, there is definitly a Diet Pill that works and you can take it as long as you want.
No Pill can burn of all your fat, but a Diet Pill can suppress your appetite. We tried a natural Appetite Suppressant in our Nail Salon (23 Girls and 11 men), and we all lost between 14 and 30 lbs. in one month. We had no Appetite, even Sweets did not apeel to us. So it is all about the calories.
My Girlfriend in Austria has to lose about 130 lbs. she is on this Diet Pill for over 3 month now and it still kills her Appetite.
Good luck you will lose as much as you want to.Last edited on 20 April 2008 08:11 am by Romana

Well that's just lovely. I was trying to chronicle my Akavar usage & I was looking for various sites... & found this one: buyeropinions . com
BUT... They CHANGED my lil testimonial. They changed the price. I didn't pay $32 for 60 capsules... & I never mentioned a $99 price for 72... that doesn't make any #%@&! sense anyway. I got 72 capsules for $32 @ GNC. Which would be $96 for 210 capsules as opposed to their $80 for 180 capsules. Ugh. Don't buy from them!

Superfluity,
I am one of the moderators at BuyerOpinions.com and happened to come across your post here. Just to let you know we do not change any opinion, review, or testimonial left at the BuyerOpinions website. While it is true that we sometimes correct grammatical errors we did NOT change your testimonial at all!
If you want to complain about your own post at BuyerOpinions.com then go the website and complain about it there and it will probably be taken off the website. Next time you may want to read your opinion very carefully before submitting it to the BuyerOpinions.com website.
We take pride in our honesty and integrity. Good luck to you and we hope you lose all the weight you want to. Take care...
