Hello All,
My name is Andy and I wanted to say thank you for such a great forum.
I have been reading the posts for some weeks now, but thought it was finally time to introduce myself and say hello.
I work at my computer all day and due to this I have recently added a few (understatement made here) kilo’s to my weight.
Scanning the internet for a solution (other than exercise more and eat less, which I have already tried so many times before) I have found a few products which say they can help.
Most have Hoodia in them, and we have all heard the horror stories about that type of product, however I have recently found a product called proactol (proactol.com) the secondary reason for this post other than to introduce myself was to ask if anybody has tried this product, can anyone backup what their website claims?
It’s possible I’m kidding myself that a pill can help me, and most of the posts on this forum suggest that, but maybe just maybe.
Thanks for you time in reading my first post, I hope this is the first of many here.

Hello Andy,
Welcome to the forum!
Sorry I don't know about Proactol, but I would like to clarify something about Hoodia.
You might have heard horror stories about products with Hoodia in them, but Hoodia itself is a very simple supplement that only suppresses your appetite. Other than the fact that many companies sell "Hoodia products" that don't actually contain Hoodia, or the amount specified, I have heard nothing bad about it.
If you have heard otherwise, please let me know. I am concerned as it's the only "diet pill" I have ever recommended in seven years with this website and countless requests from people to sell their diet pills.
Of couse I don't recommend a diet pill with some Hoodia in it, I recommend Hoodia itself. No miracle claims.
Thanks for your post, and welcome again... but please read the Posting Guidelines before posting again. (Nir corrected your link, and I changed your topic title and moved your topic here. Feel free to post another Hello topic in the General Discussion forum if you like!)
Peter

Hi Peter,
You are correct in what you say, what I have read is that 99% of the products on the market which claim to contain hoodia or incorrect, there is a much bigger market than the hoodia plant can fulfill.
I look forward to reading more and contributing to this community

Hi all,
I'm new here and I was looking for information about Proactol pills.
I'm disappointed as I can't find any feedback about Proactol but it's good to find useful information about another one HOODIA.
From what I've found aslack is right. There are few products which contain Hoodia's active ingredient - P57.
I made some search.
I was hesitating about to try Hoodia...
I don't know if this helps... but good to know...
thanks aslack

Hi there, Proactol seems to work. I wonder how can you not find any feedback about it. There are reviews and testimonials of diet pills everywhere.
I personally could actually lose 22lbs with Proactol. It happened quite fast, but I also did exercise and low carb diet...Last edited on 11 September 2008 04:28 pm by

I found this article on Proactol. http://the-diet-pills-report.com/Are-Proactol-Rated-As-The-Best-Diet-Pills . It has a comments section so maybe somebody on that site has tried it. I haven't tried it and tend to be more interested in natural sources such as hoodia and acai berry. That being said, Proactol sounds like it has the "science behind it.
Good luck

Hi again,
I've just noticed that another Proactol article has been posted on that same site. This article quotes a british national rugby coach. As the article points out, it would be interesting to know if the rugby coach has been paid for his comments. Here's the article: http://the-diet-pills-report.com/articles/proactol-diet-pills-proven
Ok, I just realized it wasn't a coach but a nutritionist which might even be better. Has anyone who follows rugby ever heard of this guy? I don't follow rugby or live anywhere near England. It would be nice to know if he is legit.
Good luck to everybody.
