My name is Allana. I'm 20 years old and started this journey at 306.7 lbs!

I am now 264.8 lbs, but still want to lose more! I want to be 175 lbs.

I really need a partner! My only overweight friend gets very jealous if I lose more than her and our workout plans never work out!

I really hope someone can help me out! I would prefer someone who wishes to lose a lot as well! Well reply if you are interested!

Hi Allana, are you still looking for someone?

I am 24 years old and currently weigh 246.4lbs and am really looking to reach 168-175lbs. Although, im sure I will need to set plenty of mini goals to get myself there. So it sounds like we are very similar and have got very similar goals.

It's a shame about your friend, you should be able to support each other. It's not fair that she takes her dissapointment out on you and takes away the achievements you have made! 40lbs loss so far is amazing! :star:

I lost about 40lbs a few years back and it made such a huge difference to my life, but sadly it has all crept back on again :nono:

I have tried to force myself into being in the right frame of mind to lose weight, but you cant, you just set yourself up for a fall. Still ive been slowly trickling along for a few months now on here, have only lost a few lbs, but feel like im starting to get a bit of motivation and determination to stick it out this time.

Yes, I am still looking for a buddy. I have been slacking off a lot lately, and I need someone to keep me in line. I just gained 2 lbs this week! Oops! Anyways, If you wanna be my buddy, let's get started right away. I just got engaged yesterday so that's even more reason to start losing more!!! :) I weigh in on fridays. With this first 40 lb loss, I haven't exercised at all. I simply ate less. Now that it is begining to get harder, I plan on beginning a excerise program as well. Well, let's get started! I'll first give you my stats and then my diet and exercise plan. You can reply with yours.

Current weight: 265.4 lbs
1st goal weight: 235 lbs
Overall goal wt: 175 lbs

For my diet, I simply eat mostly grilled chicken and vegetables or fruits. I usually have rice crispies for breakfast with splenda. I have a snack wrap and apple dippers from mcdonald's for lunch (I work there!), and for dinner I usually have grilled chicken nachos or grilled chicken and peas.

For my exercise, I plan on walking or doing a "walk away the pounds" video for 30 minutes, three times a week.

OK YOUR TURN! :)

Hey Congrats! That's brilliant. Have you set a date yet? I got engaged at Christmas and we are going to tie the knot in July/August next year.

I also weigh in on Fridays.

Day to day I don't eat too bad, lots of fresh foods. But my portion size is way over! I definately need to look at my portion control. Also, I have a habit of being really good for days then I have to blow out and have a binge. Then of course I feel guilty as #%@&!!

As for exercise, I don't do any! I drive to work, sit at a desk all day and then drive home and that is that. I have got dogs and horses, so I try to ride a couple of times a week. Which I love, but it really hurts my knees (probably due to my weight) so I suffer afterwards. We live on a farm, so the dogs have as much freedom to run aroud as they like. Hence, I don't walk with them everyday.

A few years ago I managed to lose 3 stone by swimming nearly every morning before work, but I cant fit that in these days. My partner gets up at 5.30am for work, and I leave at 8am. So really I should be using that couple of hours to do something around the farm, even if it is going for a brisk walk around the fields with the dogs. I know they would enjoy it!

Right...for targets!

Current Weight: 248.4lbs
1st Goal Weight: 231lbs
Target Weight: 175lbs

Do you think you should set yourself a middle target between your current weight and 1st target? 30lbs is quite a lot, I just worry that on the way too it your going to lose motivation?

Good Luck!

We are planning on May 1st, 2010. I'm very excited! This is going to be so much fun because we can tell each other wedding plans and ideas and stay in touch while losing weight for our weddings! :D We seem to have a lot in common already.

I actually have fridays as my 'day off' of my diet. I don't go too crazy, but if I have a good weigh in I usually go out for dinner and have desert on fridays. The rest of the week, I stick to the diet pretty good.

Don't feel guilty about not exerising. I didn't exercise at all and still lost 40 lbs! I haven't done any walking this week. By the way, I LOVE animals!! I have a little pup, but our house is big compared to him so he gets a lot of exercise just walking around! lol He is a yorkie named Kyo. I also have a kitty named Beau.

Swimming is great exercise, but I don't have the time or money for that. I don't have much tiem for exercise at all. I work 8-5 and then do homework and have dinner between 5-9 and then babysit my nephews from 9-11. And then I do it all over again.

Setting a middle goal is a good idea. I guess I will say 255 lbs.

I feel really good about my diet today and yesterday. After gaining at my weigh in, I got back motivated and kicked my diet up a notch. lol I even refused desert at red lobster!

Anyways, how are you doing? And have you picked colors for your wedding yet?

Heehee, Friday is kinda my day off too! Well only if I do well.

I'm lucky enough to live on a farm, but we don't own it (I wish), we rent the house and the rest of the farm is used as a livery yard for people with their horses.

I have got two horses, Sabotino (rescued exracehorse) and Caleb (my baby boy, only a year old). I've also got two border collies, Josh & Teagan (brother and sister) and my fella has got a staffie pup called Jake. He's a monster! We also have two cats, Wally & Winnie that we inherited when we moved into the house. I am always broke broke broke, because of my animals. But I wouldnt have it any other way!

I've been really naughty this weekend. My friends wedding yesterday and we had a hog roast and a few glasses of wine. Then today we had a bbq for my dads birthday and I ate so much I felt sick. Very naughty!

I can't decide on a colour for the wedding. I wanted deep turqouise/teal for the colour theme. But when I started looking for flowers, decoration etc it was really hard to find matching stuff? So I started thinking about burgundy. Can't decide! And I don't know when to order my dress. I'm ordering it from America, so need to leave 6 months for it to arrive.

What size are you hoping you might be for your wedding? I am currently 20 up top and 22 below (uk sizes). I'd really like to be a 12? Not sure if I can put enough effort in to achieve that? Have you decided on a colour?

Right best get off to bed. Where do you live btw? Oh and another thing in common, I worked for years at Burger King. Yumm Yumm, chicken royales! Nite x

I chose aqua and taupe (light brown) for my colors. I can't find any flowers in aqua anywhere either! Most of my stuff we are going to be making. I have a lot of creative people in my family, so we are making the favors and decor.

I live in Nebraska here in America.  I plan on going to find a dress with my family. Once I have the money, we will all just go shopping probably.

I hope to be an 18 by my wedding, but I am not sure. I do not want to miss a very hard goal by saying anything lower than 18.

By the way, what is a stone compared to pounds?

Hope you have better days next week! Let's try really hard! Good luck!

My bedroom is teal and chocolate brown, love the colours but when I see them everyday in my room im not sure I want it for my wedding as well. There are lots of very good silk/artificial flowers in blues and they are a bit cheaper than fresh flowers.

A stone is basically 14lbs. In the UK most people still use imperial measurements, rather than metric (kgs). I weighted this morning and and I've put on after my very naughty weekend. 249.1 lbs. Could be worse though! I'm going to try to get doen to 245lbs by Friday. I lose weight very quickly, but I also put on very quickly. I have been known to lose 7lbs in a week, but can also put 8-9lbs on in a week if I'm really naughty.

(I've just realised that my original post says 264.8lbs and it should have been 246.8lbs!)

Got up early this morning and took the dogs out to the horses and cleaned up in the yard a bit. Also dug out my stepper which I havent used for years probably!

Well here's for us both having a good week! Cheers :martini:

I reckon we've both just got good taste! lol

How did your day go? Did you manage to get out for a walk? I didnt go on my stepper  I have been revising all day for my final exam on Wednesday and Im depressed about it as I dont understand any of it?

It's my last exam to qualify as an accountant. But I hate it and have already started to train to be a horse chiropractor, so got no motivation what so ever to finish the accounts one, even though I know I should.

On a different note, it is my step sister wedding in September. How much weight do you reckon I could lose before then? Realisitically? It's 3 months away. I know that a stone (14lbs) would mean my clothes would fit a bit better. 2 stone (28lbs) may even put me down a size, but I think thats stretching it a bit. What do you reckon?

I lost 8 lbs a month for 5 months now. I would set a goal of 18-25 lbs. I believe if you work semi-hard, you could do that easily!

I didn't get out for my walk! It rained all day! I did eat very healthy though! I have a sandwich for lunch and a wrap for dinner. I also carried around my 30 pound nephew almost all day! lol I guess that counts as exercise!

Anyways, I'm very tired and have to work early tomorrow so I'll talk to you tmrw! Good luck tmrw! I know we can do this!

P.S. I agree we must have great taste! I found some BEAUTIFUL aqua colored ribbon and rose petals today, so I bought them! :D

Morning! Did my main shop yesterday and I was very good with what I picked up. Then did a chicken salad for tea. Scott turned his nose up at it to begin with, he's a very meat and three veg bloke (well he can afford to be, he struggles to put weight on). We both enjoyed it though.

I cook a lot of rice and pasta dishes, which are all pretty good ingrediants wish, but I eat way to much of them. So for the next week or so I am going to try to concentrate on shrinking my portion sizes.

I've been trying to keep my eyes out for wedding favours, I was thinking about personalised love hearts, but they are too expensive. Same as you, I want to make my own.

We should rename our thread. If we decide on a name then we can ask Peter to change it for us. What do you reckon? Something about us having so much in common, or something about being brides to be? Any ideas?

Ok I have really sucked on losing weight this week. I weighed myself early and think I have gained about 4 pounds! I'm very upset. I want to look good in my wedding dress and need to kick this diet into gear. I think I will start exercising tonight! I have to ig I wanna lose! UGH... :(

Hiya, don't be disheartened! I'm sat here feeling very full after eating a huge piece of cake at work! And yesterday I was feeling rubbish about my exams, so I ate a huge bar of chocolate and a huge helping of spagetti bolognese. Plus I didn't do any exercise!

I haven't weighed yet, but Im hoping to have stayed the same. Which is a shame as mid week I had lost, but the last couple of days has put it back on.

Maybe we should make a pact and promise each other we are going to do some exercise each day. I am going horse riding tonight, so I promise I will work hard and wont just sit like a sack of spuds on his back and if I dont get out horse riding I promise I will do 100 steps on my stepper.

And keep being good today, dont eat anything too stodgy and drink lots of water, by tomorrow you might have flushed through a couple of lbs! Today isnt weigh day so it doesnt count

Thanks! You are very motivating! You made me feel better. lol I had a pretty good day! I had cereal for breakfast, a grilled chicken sandiwch for lunch, and nachos for dinner. They were children's size nachos though.

I am going to try real hard to do some kind of exercise. If anything, I'll do some crunches! I promise!

P.S. I had a good day! I have an old friend who does music for weddings so he is gonna give me half off his original price. I also found a lady who will give me a discount on cakes because it will be her first wedding.

Weigh in Day.....!

245.9lbs

How did you do? Hopefully not as bad as you thought? I can't remember what I was a week ago. I'm taking part in the Independance Day Challenge on here, so I'll go and weigh in there too. I think I might be 1lb of or something like that. Not that impressive, but a lose is a lose!

Thats great about the wedding bits. I kid of have someone in mind for the music, like yours he's and old friend and he dj's on a radio show. He's also got his own band which do lots of local gigs. So hopefully he will do mine. As for the cake, I have no idea? I've picked my table decorations though. And have started to make my invitations, it's a year away yet, but im not very artistic, it's taking me about an hour and invitation! lol

Speak later. K x

Yea...I gained...alot! UGH... :(

I am now 269.8 lbs. I gained 4.4 lbs...BUT it didn't make me depressed. lol It actually made me think what the #%@&! are you doing? Are you really gonna lose 40 lbs and then gain it all back? NO! lol So, I got a little motivation, so here goes nothing!

I know I gained because I went out to eat almost every night and didn't watch my potions! I do great at breakfast and lunch! I mean I do PERFECT at watching portions, but dinner always gets to me!

I am going on vacation one week from today. So, I am hoping for a loss! It's a new week and I'm starting over!

Here are a few of my goals for this week!

1. Drink 64 ounces of water every day!!

2. Exercise at least twice for 30 minutes!!

3. Watch my dinner portion sizes!!

Good on you for being so positive! 4.4lbs isn't so bad in the scheme of things. I've lost and put that back on this week alone. When I looked back at my weigh in weight last week, I've only actually lost 0.5lbs. Nothing amazing!

At least you know where you went wrong and you have some idea of how to put it right, it would be worse if you had tried your hardest and still put on. I would have done better, but I have eaten lots of naughties these last few days. Chocolate, cake etc. All completely unnecessary! Im just a :pig: !

I'll go along with your goals for this week. I drink my water quota every day at work, but never at the weekend at home. I'll try to do some constructive exercise (Im soo lazy!). And I seriously have to do something about my portion control. I need really to get some kitchen scales so I can weigh out things properly. My breakfast is normally a bowl 'FULL' of cereal. And I mean full to the top! Oops!

Where you going on vacation to? Anywhere nice? My fella has got the week off next week. Grr! He gets to lie in everyday.

Ok I will upload a pic tonight. Also, I can't think of a name! lol I'm been trying!

My best advice for portion control is get your food on a plate IN PORTIONS and then put everything away and leave the room! If you are in the kithcen, you are more likely to get more food. Also, If you leave and get on the computer, you will eat less because you will stop every few seconds to type or whatever. This is what worked for me!

Anyways good luck this week. I did great at breakfast today and lunch. Now we are going out for dinner here in a few minutes to my favorite mexican restaurant! Mom and I decided we are going to share a meal. Here goes nothing! lol

Good luck tmrw!!

P.S. We are going to Panama city beach, Florida! They have the most beautiful beaches in the world! lol Ok, maybe not the world, but the U.S.A anyway!

Went to meet the chap today who is hiring me my marquee for my wedding and to view the place im going to have it at. It's beautiful! Am really excited now. Been looking at wedding dresses too. I so need to step it up a gear. I don;t want to be a fat bride! I want to get to a size 16, but reackon I need to lose 4 stone for that. Aim high and all that.

That's exciting! I haven't looked at any places yet! lol I did great on my diet though. I am going out tonight for my brother's birthday so we will see how I eat! lol

Anyways, I had a cool idea that myabe we could send each other something that is really normal here in the U.S.A but might be weird to you. lol Like you saying you tea hurt your diet. lol Here, I tea has like no calories so that kind of confuses me. lol Anyways, I thought we could mail eahc other something cool. We could use it as something borrowed for our weddings! lol

Anyways, g2g, BYE BYE!

Haha, yeah I guess stuff can get lost in translation!

In the UK we have breakfast, dinner and tea. Tea being short for teatime! So tea is basically my evening meal.

My sister went across to Canada last month to visit my mum and she said there we're loads of things that were different. Like my mums friends always goes on how spunky she is, and full of spunk today. Meaning she's full of energy. Well in the UK that means something very very different!

I'm thinking about taking up swimming again before work. It's a hassle but I think the only way I'm going to do this is by upping my exercise. I've got my step sisters wedding in 7 weeks and I am going to Portugal on a conference with work in 5 months. Do you suffer in the heat? I do! I get hot and sticky and grouchy really quick.

What were you thinking of sending?

I hate the heat! lol Yet, I'm still going down to florida for vacation and it's hot hot there! We have all the seasons. We have cold cold winters, then warm rainy spring, then hot hot summer, and finally the nice cool fall! But right now it's summer and i hate the heat! lol

I'm not sure what to send! I just thought it was a cool idea! lol Maybe our jewelry is different or just the normal cups we drink out of! lol Or maybe I'll send you a souvenier from Florida! lol Anyways, keep thinking! What would you send?

Well I have to go work! Bye!

P.S. I'm still doing pretty good on my diet! I have drank all my water and ate well but still haven't exercised much! lol

Hiya, I've just emailed you a couple of my fav pics from my fav beach where I walk my woofies. I live on the coast and love the sea!

Weigh in day. Im 246.2lbs which is 0.3lbs up. Not so bad I suppose. Even though I thought I'd had a pretty good week? I suppose if I think sensibly about it, there have been lots of unnecessary things this week. Like that huge bowl of tuna pasta at 11pm last night! Might of been a loss if I hadn't have had that?!

Hope your weigh in goes well. I'm trying to decide whether to go to aqua-aerobics this evening? I should really, but my legs are killing from the one on Wednesday. x

Hello!

Weigh in day! I lost 0.6 lbs this week. I weighed in at 269.2 lbs. I'm not super excited but it's okay. A loss is a loss I guess. I didn't have the best week. I did great the first couple of days, but the last few I was baking cakes and eating some cake batter! Oops! :)

I only got one picture. It was on the water and a huge rock? lol It was very very pretty though! I so wished I was there! We, in nebraska, are a land-locked state. We have to drive thousands of miles just to reach the ocean. I would be leaving for vacation today, but my grandma had to have emergency surgery so we will not be leaving for a few days if at all! :(

Oh no! I hope she is ok? And a weight loss is a loss all the same. Still better than a gain.

I love being by the sea, I couldn't live anywhere away from the water. I love that pic, it's so beautiful walking along the beach with the dogs at sunset. I'm very lucky to live where I do.

She is okay. She had two surgeries. One to add a valve to her heart and one to get rid of the liquid. She is doing better but still in the hospital for a few days. The doctor had told her there was nothing they could do to save her life, then she got a second opinion and they said they could try this new surgery. It worked! Now, she just has to heal up.

But I have some bad news. My puppy, Kyo, passed away today. He had a liver shunt which meant he couldn't have much protein and probably wouldn't live a long life. He was only 3 years old though. So, I'm a little depressed, but I am glad he is no longer suffering.

Hey hun, hope things are looking a bit brighter with you? How is your gran doing? Is she home yet?

I am so sorry to hear about your puppy. I lost my dog who was 3 a few years ago now, and my world stopped for a while. She was my best friend and it was so tragic, so young. Still I am sure like my puppy, yours had always had as much love and affection as he ever wanted and he knew he had a warm bed and bowl of food to come home to. I am sure his life, as short as it was was full of happiness! xxx

I weighed myself this morning. 251lbs!!! (thats 5lbs up btw) I have had such a bad weekend. I have eaten so much, it's not even funny! So this morning I got up early and went swimming before work. I am also going to calorie count today. I ummed and arrhhed about going back to Slimming World classes (not sure what your equivelant is?) but it would cost me £20 ($40?) a month just to go and stand on some scales once a week. I don't know? Maybe I should?I'm not getting very far by myself am I?!

On the wedding front, we have found somewhere to have the wedding. This is their website if you want to have a gander http://www.trereifepark.co.uk I think it is beautiful. But then I'm a proper english country rose kinda gal! I am itching to start looking for my dress, but I need to lose some weight first.

Chin up sweetie! x

Wow! Your place is beautiful! I love it! I'm not sure where I am having mine.

Sorry this is gonna be short. I am more than likely going to ruin my diet this week. I am now in Florida on vacation and plan on going out to dinner and eating lots. We might go swimming here soon!

We rented a home and have ducks at our back porch! lol My fiance keeps feeding them! lol

Anyways, I will talk to you soon!

Hey, yeah I remembered yesterday that you were going on vacation. Have a good time, that's what vacation is for, you will come back more focused and relaxed after having a break. You've done so well so far, call it your reward.

I joined slimming world last night, so I also have an official weigh in on Tuesday now too. Got aqua- aerobics tonight. Will catch up with you when you get back.

Bet you'll be lovely and brown! I'm so white, I'm almost see-through! lol

I am very white as well! lol I will probab;y tan some, but not much. It's so beautiful here but so very very hot! Even our swimming pool is too warm!

We went to the ocean today. It was very beautiful. We saw lots of fish. We also went and bought some shells to decorate at the wedding! I am doing a beach themed wedding.

Anyways, just wanted to pop in and see how your diet is going. Mine is horrible! The fudge here is soooo amazing, I can't resist! :) I'll have to try harder when we get back to Nebraska! The food isn't as good there!

Anyways, I'll talk to you later! I hope your diet is going well!

Hey, glad your having a great time! It's not even 9am here yet and I'm shattered. Been swimming again before work...wonder how long it will take before it stops killing me!

Weigh in day today. 246.3lbs so gone back down again. I have been really really good the last few days and with my swimming as well I am hoping by next week I might be showing a new weight loss. Instead of bouncing up and down these same 5 lbs the whole time.

I like your idea of a beach theme. What kind of shells have you got? I like those huge white spiky ones! They would look cool if you could get little candles in them or something.

Anyways, will catch up with you when you get back. Enjoy! x

I got some sand dollars, and lots of little shells to decorate tables. I also got some big spiky ones to use as centerpeices! lol

As for weigh-in day...I don't wanna look! lol I know I have gained but truth be told, the house we are staying at does not have a scale so I can't weigh in!

Great job on your weight loss though! I'm very proud of you! Once I get back home on the 7th, I really want to kick it up and do a better job. I only have 10 months until my wedding!!!

Anyways, hope all goes well this week! Keep up the swimming. I bet it helps a lot!!

Hey hun, hope your enjoying your hols. I looked at the piccies your fella put up on facebook of the house and the ducks! lol.

You know I've started up slimming world again...well Wed, Thurs, Fri I followed the plan perfectly and was feeling really good. Then on Saturday I was out working on the farm all day, chopping down nettle and bramble patches and digging up our lawn. But cause I was out all day working, I didnt feel bad about the 3 cadburys dairy milk bars I ate, because I hadnt eaten anything else.

Then on Sunday, because I hadnt eaten all the day before (other than choc bars) I was hungry all day. I ate and ate and ate! I didn't think a lot of it was too bad, but when I went through my Slimming World book and added up everything I had eaten, I had basically eaten 8 days worth of naughtiness in the space of two days.

Am very dissapointed seeing as I had been so good the 3 days before that. My Slimming World class is on Tuesday evening, so I have got 2 days to rectify some of the bad I have done. Except today didnt start too well, as I overslept so didn't got swimming before work and didnt get any breakfast. For lunch I have got a huge bowl of fruit salad and not sure what I will do for tea, will have to be something very light tho. Maybe a salad? I'm gonna be starving for the next two days, but tough, it will serve me right for being a pig ! :pig:

HEY! I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever! This post will probably be very long so I hope you have time to read it all and reply! lol

Ok, so I gained 4.2 lbs while on vacation! :( That puts me at 273.4 lbs but in my mind I was thinking I was going to gain like 12 lbs! (That's what my fiance gained. Poor thing!) I ate out every day and had cookies and fudge like every day! lol Plus I didn't exercise at all! Anyways, I am back on track and did GREAT yesterday! I ate a snack wrap and fruit salad for lunch and for dinner (or tea as you may call it! lol) I had a salad and a sandwich. We almost went out for a late night dinner but we thought about it and decided against it. Yay us! lol

So...as for wedding planning, I got lots of sea shells to take home and brought back about 3 gallons of the beautiful white sand from the beach! :) I am getting more and more excited. I realized we don't know a lot about each other or our fiances, so here goes. So, as of now, I have decorations for centerpeices, the flowers for my bouquet, and ribbon for the favors. I found out that the amazing place I wanted to have the reception at is way too expensive. We are making our own food and the cake and this place makes you pay them to do that for you. So I still need to find a place, but this is Beatrice, NE. There really isn't much around here.

I work at McDonald's and have for 5 years. I am working on getting my degree in Business so I can open my own business one day. My fiance's name is Jerremy. He works at McDonald's too. He is working on his degree in computer programming. He is 21 years old and I am 20. He is great! He loves to do laundry which is awesome for me because I hate doing laundry! lol He does a lot of housework actually! :) He's pretty much perfect! I guess that's all for know! I hope you reply with some new info too!

Heehee, you make me laugh. Your so positive!

Well, I went to my slimming word class last night and had lost 4lbs. Do you have anything like slimming world or weight watchers over there? I can PM you access to my website page if you want to have a look and I could send you across a copy of the bible. It is so simple, but very good. It slots into everyday life without you haveing to buy special food or cook special meals. It works around you. I lost 3 and a half stone on it before in 6 months (with lots of exercise too mind).

Going to aim for 3lbs next week to try to get my first half stone award, a stone is 14lbs.

Well I work for an ice cream company, we basically distribute about 75% of the ice cream in the UK. I run the finance and admin department. And yes I do get free sample of whatever I like! Oops, not good for a fattie! I don't like what I do enough to do it forever though, I did start doing a business degree through home studying, but it wasnt for me. I am now training to be a horse chiropractor! Different, eh? But it will take 8 years to finish, so I'm stuck where I am for a good while yet.

I am 24 and my fiance is 31. We've been together since I was 18. He used to work on the railways and did labouring on buildign sites for years, but now he's training to be an construction engineer. He is also, very, very skinny! He is chuffed when he can get over 10 and a half stone (I wish I had the same problem). He does lots of bodybuilding etc to build his muscles and weight up and he eats whatever he likes whenever he likes. It makes me sick! lol

He is also pretty good with housework etc. I'm really cluttered and have lots and lots of animals, he's a minimalist and never had pets before he met me. So he has to put up with a lot sometimes. I'm lucky too!

For your wedding, what about holding it at your house. Thats what we were going to do when we couldnt find anywhere. We were going to hire a big marquee and do it all ourself at the farm. Luckily we found that place last minute and its only £500 (I think about $900) for the wedding ceremony and the bedrooms for the night.

Hey girlie! It's weigh in day! I lost 4 lbs over the last few days since vacation. So all that weight I gained, I lost again. Yay me! :) I'm gonna post my stats again for refreshment! lol

Stats:

Starting weight: 306.7 lbs
Current weight: 269.4 lbs
1st goal weight: 255.0 lbs
Overall goal wgt: 175 lbs

I hope your weigh in goes good also! I am becoming more and more motivatin g now that I am back home. My mom bought a second stroller so now we plan on taking my nephews for a walk every night. We babysit my 1 year old nephew who loves the outside and my 3 month old nephew every night. Their names are Jayden and Brenan. So, I figured since we watch them for 2 hours every night anyway, we might as well use that time to exercise. I'm kind of excited because I think the walking will really help with my weight loss. We do have weight watchers over here and I lost about 20 lbs on it one time, but having to pay $12 every week was crazy. I can't afford much because fast food does not pay much at all.

Ok so back to talking about us. You work in an ice cream company? That must be hard! It's just like working around all the fast food! I will also never work at McDonald's forever. It's on your feet, constant teenage drama. I hate it! lol

Now for your Fiance. That's so cute that you have been together for 6 years. Jerremy and I just celebrated 2 years in Florida. My fiance doesn't do bodybuilding or anything like that. We kind of work together to eat healthier so we can both look good in our wedding clothes. I still have yet to find a place for the wedding. I do not want to do it at my house. We live real close to our neighbors and have a tiny back yard. lol I really wish I could have a beautiful place like that! I do think I found a offciant though. Neither me or my fiance have been to church in our lives. We believe in God but we don't believe we need to go to church to prove it.

I've been meaning to ask you, why you are getting your dress from America?

I am going shopping in August to find a dress. I am taking my bridesmaids and my grandma and mom to look at dresses with me. I can't wait to try them on and see myself in WHITE! lol I never wear white anything! I'm actually quite clumsy! lol

Ok well this is getting really long! You can tell I'm bored! haha Hope to hear good news!

Hey hun, just a quick log in to say hi. Got your facebook post..lol! I'll post a nice long reply, fill you in on the last week tomoz afternoon when I can get on at work. My comp at home has been a nightmare this week. I hate AOL!

Had slimming world weigh in this evening. Am 244.5lbs, so still bobbing about in those same old 5lbs! But am going to make a real effort this week to try to break the barier. Am hoping to lose 3lbs, which will ut me where I havent been for months and months, I am hoping I just need to break through that little milestone.

Am also very excited because I have found the best theme for my wedding, I am going to have morning glory ivy for the centre pieces with little doves (not real ones, but they look very real). I thought that would be really cute! Fake ivy by the way, I can't cope with real plants and flowers, I'd kill them. All nice and cheap too! Also decided on a wedding song. Bryan Adams - Heaven. I love it, it gives me goosebumps.

Got my bridesmaids coming over this weekend to look at dresses on the internet, try to decide what we want. I am getting my dresses from America as they end up being about a quarter of the price than if I bought the same dress over here. I guess cause you are cutting out the middle man. Can't afford bridal boutique prices...no way! I plan to have the whole thing for the same price as some people spend on their dresses!

Well, it was going to be a shorter post, but I've ended up yacking. Well done you for losing what you put on! I'm kind of looking forward to Fridays weigh in, hope I do well! I stayed the same last week, was gutted, but served me right, I didnt do any exercise and I have chinese! Oh and went out with the girls to watcha  Take That musical and ate the hugest tub of minstrels!

Update on stats:

Start Weight: 248.4lbs
Current Weight: 244.5lbs
1st target: 231lbs
Target Weight: 175lbs

Weight lose to date: 3.9lbs! Pitiful! lol

Catch you later hunny. x

Also, meant to say go onto the challenges page and join in the latest challenge. I am on there and just log my weight on a Friday, but they track it for you.

Also, we still need to change our post name. How about something like 'The betroved...' or 'Blushing Brides'. Something like that? Have you seen how many reads we've had too?!

Hello everyone reading! xxx

I think "Blushing Brides" is a great idea! lol It's very cute!

Once I get my student loan money, I plan to buy my dress. Everyone is excited to go look at them. My grandma is really excited because my mom's dress was made for her so grandma didn't get to go dress shopping. lol

Anyways, sorry this is so short. I am so so tired lately, I just don't wanna do anything! My diet is failing horribly! I keep eating chocolate all the time! I do great for breakfast and lunch and then eat a lot for dinner and always have chocolate before bed. Me and mom are starting our walking program tmrw, so I hope it helps me get back on track! I don't want to gain back more weight! I want to lose more for my wedding! It's only 9 and 1/2 months away! lol

I really need to kick it up a notch or five! lol

Morning! Lets see if I can be a bit less scatty today, my head was all over the place yesterday.

Weigh in day! 242.7lbs I think I am into new weight loss (well new as in havent been here for months and months and months). If I can just keep going a few more lbs I'll be a weight that I havent been for a couple of years.

How is your diet going? I know how you feel about chocolate, we have had so many birthdays going on here and I can't resist a bit of carrot cake!

Do you like our new title? K x
