Hello!
Okay this one is a difficult one to explain or most people I have talked to find it confusing. So the problem is with my shoulders (rotary calf) and it clicks when i move it, I also experianced pain from time to time, when I put my hand on my shoulder and move it I can feel the cartiluge moving around. This happened in my right shoulder and lasted a week and a bit. Now its gone and about two days ago my left shoulder has started to do the same thing, it now clicks when i do any rotating motions with it. My right shoulder doesnt click anymore, unlesss i move it around for a while and try to generate a clicking sound. The problem is I experiance mild pain on my left shoulder but it only acts up when I workout and do heavier excersise. If anyone could explain whats happening to me and how to possibly help my left shoulder become better or suggest ways to possibly prevent something like this from happening again I would be really greatful.
Thanks, Johnnyboy

It might be wise to see a doctor. Just to rule out anything else beside just normal exercise soreness. The clicking, that you explained would bother me and I would wonder why it is doing that.
Sorry, I know I am not much help.
My shoulders hurt alot lately cause I just recently gave up the hang on habit on the treadmill and have been swing my arms more when walking. Mine have never made a clicking noise, so I think there more going on then just regular pain. It could just be the movements your doing. That's why I would investigate it more by seeing a doctor.

| Your doctor might recommend an xray. Take it easy...don't workout if you're still in pain.

I would definitely suggest going to your doctor to get it checked out. I had shoulder pain whenever I hit a volleyball a year ago (although other activities were usually okay). However, I kept playing with it, it eventually got too bad to stand, and I went to my doctor. Turns out I had a SLAP lesion (tendons flapping up from the bone) and I had to have surgery. It's always better to be safe than sorry!!
