Was wondering what the best way is to monitor your biking. I went biking last night with my husband after walking and it didn't seem like I got as good of a workout as I would of if I continued to walk.
I usually walk 4mils + , But, last night only two miles and then went biking. I don't really want to do 4mils then bike, but I do need more.
So, how do you tell what you have accomplished on a bike? The only thing I have to go bye is how I feel. Is there a bike monitor or something that people use. Even something with miles and distance would help.

It's not to hard to find data (see calories burned calculator) that tells you how many calories your burn riding a bike for so long at so many miles per hour. But who knows how fast they are riding!?!
That's why I created the bicycling calculator that lets you enter the distance you went and the time it took. So if you'll measure a route with the odometer in your car, then all you have to do it time how long it took on your bike and you get a ROUGH idea of the calories burned.
Better yet... just ride to enjoy it and you'll likely do it even more!
