Hello, Ive lost weight in the last 1 1/2 years(45lbs) been doing lots of cardio(ministepper) some stomach crunches, but  not real strict on that. Any advise or others experience in getting your belly in better shape without surgical remedies. My body looks pretty good as far as tone, but my belly is just kinda "flappy?" kinda wrinkled looking, not badly, but im self concious. It is more apparent when I lean forward to touch my toes. It reminds me of those mature cats/panthers.

I know what a "tummy tuck" involves, and its drastic and only recomend it for patients that have lost extreme weight, and excercise cant help with all the extra skin.

Many "tummy tuck" patients use it as an alternative to excercise and fitness as a quick fix, but if you can see an actual surgery and the pain the patients have after, I think most would rather crunch the #%@&! out of their bellies than go under the knife.
Its more painful than a full face/neck lift and definately more painful than a breast augmentation(unless you are going way big)

I've seen shows with people who had this situation and it seemed apparent that there's nothing you can do about excess skin except to remove it. I know that's not good news, but I guess maybe it depends on just how much excess skin it is. I'd love to be prove wrong though for the sake of giving you a better answer for that.

I have the same problem. It really sucks, you go to all the work of getting thin and then you have to deal with flab and wrinkles and what not.

I was considering putting my firming cream on my stomach to see if that would help.... I know sounds stupid, but I will try about anything at this point.

I would think crunches would help some, but I haven't did enough of them to tell a diffrence.

Yeah, it never ends, its a constant battle, being out of shape, getting in shape, losing weight. In those reality shows they show all the persons go from 300 to 110 in what seems weeks, they look fab in their new clothes, but they dont fill you in on all the details. All the unknown surgeries they probably have done in between, cause where does the excess skin go? Even if you were really young, skin takes time to snap back.
