Just wondering what you think is the single best exercise for burning fat?
If you only had 15 or 20 minutes to work out, how would you spend it to get the most effective workout?

Hi,
What I have noticed for me to burn fat is the Stepper that inclines I supposed its considered an eliptical as well but I am not sure if its called the stepper, that is how I call it. it looks like you are skiing kind of and it inclines and when I first started I struggled was only able to do 1 min before I was out of breathe then moved up to 5 min then 10 min...now its my favorite machine I work on it at the highest level of incline and I am on it for about 50 min and boy does it make you sweat and burn lots of fat.

| I use running to help. That is my go-to cardio (I do weight train as well though :P ). But this is because I love running especially when I got my IPod with me. Some people HHHHHAATTTEE running and that is okay too. I guess finding what makes people want to or at least tolerate exercising is the key

For me, hands down it's the elliptical.
1. I love it, and since I enjoy doing it I don't get bored.
2. It's easy on the joints/non-impact, and for me that's important.
3. For me, it burns way more calories than I could on a treadmill since I can't run and have knee issues.
4. It's increased my endurance, shrunk my butt, whittled my waist, and made my legs much stronger (stairs are no longer a challenge and I didn't have to endure the torture device ie: stepmaster).
With my current fitness and health issues, I can only burn half as many calories on the bike or treadmill in the same amount of time. The answer to the question is definitely going to depend on individual needs.

Just follow regular morning and evening walk.. Do some Yoga and meditation. Keep control on your diet plan..
For fat loss its all you diet, so taking healthy diet will surely give you better result than any exercise.

| I give 30 minutes for exercise. In that time I completed my most of the body exercise as well as some mind therapy like yoga. Yoga is really important factor because it relaxes all your muscles and helps to burn your fat.

Best single FAT Burning exercise...BURPEES! Try em' if you doubt it.
Burpee Pyramid...1 up to 10 down to 1
Do 1 rest 10 sec, do 2 rest 10 sec, Do 3 (you get the picture), Keep going with 10 sec of rest until you get to 5 burpees then increase to 30 sec rest until you hit 10 burpees. Repeat 10 and begin to count back down w/ 30 sec rest until 5 than 10 sec rest until you hit 1. Whole shooting match should take about 12-15 minutes.Last edited on 11 April 2013 04:39 am by Jamuligan
