I am in a lot of trouble. Weight wise. I got to college and I gained a lot of weight. I feel very fat and unhealthy. I am 5"5 about 30-50 pounds over the normal weight. It's starting to get embarrassing for me. I feel like I am loosing a lot of self-esteem and I really need to get on this!! I get very motivated periodically but then after I try to loose weight, I start to loose that motivation.
I really need some good tips and how to do this. I really would like to loose weight quickly but that is definitely not going to work. Can someone please help me on tips and ways to start getting motivated, etc.
Also, I am 18, I am a diabetic, and am a college student. This is very hard for me. As you read about me, loose weight is so difficult.
I would start out by educating yourself about different diets and what might work for you. When I started out dieting I couldn't do that. So, I just started cutting out things in my diet that was bad for me. Like pop, hotdogs, things of that nature. I now count calories and exercise unlike when I started. It's more of a process of getting healthy. So, one week cut out the sweets, the next week drink lots of water. I just kept changing things until I lost weight. The motivation will come after the pounds start coming off. You just have to commit to give it some time until that happens. Hope some of this helps you.
