Hi there, well I found this forum yesterday and it seems to have everything I need.  So many out there, with very little activity.  So here's my short story.

I am 5'10 weighed 135 most of my life (now 40 years old)...had some kids, really wasnt the issue of my weight gain, although I did maintain around 165 after them.  Now I quit smoking 4 years ago, and hello food! Went up to 250:chewing:!! #%@&!.  So here I am, giving it a go for real this time.  I have of course "tried" before, like I tried so many times to quit the cigs.  For a month now I have been using hoodia, yes a real one, also exercising 5 days a week for 45 minutes.  I am using a recumbant bike, an ab roller, and resistance bands.   Now I am not weighing myself.  I do know I have gone down 4 notches on my jeans belt, and one more notch, and I need to buy a new belt.  Alrighty then, there it is.  See you around the forum:apple:.  Forgot to add that yes my eating habits have changed, for the better.  Okay talk soon, from your new Canadian former couch potato!                        Lucy :smile:
