sooooo where do i start? Like many of you I've tried every diet out there. My most recent was the master cleanse, which is not a good idea. I was drinking this juice stuff for like five days and all I got out of it was severe cramps and a not so pretty scene in the bathroom (sorry really gross). So now I'm about to turn 23 and am sick of dieting. I just want a better feeling and looking me! If you haven't guessed by the "likes" in my sentences, I am from Los Angeles, city of skin. I'm in my second year of community college with hopes of going to either LMU or USC. Ummmm, what else? I have a great boyfriend that loves me even when I'm standing in the mirror pinching my fat. He works in the tv biz so i secretly sometimes I'm afraid he'll leave me for some actress or model. He constantly tells me how ridiculous that is but, you know, its still there.
I just ordered the power90 system. I'm definately ready to start doing that. It looks like a fun way to exercise. My problem with exercising is that its boring. I hate cardio. I hate running on the treadmill for like an hour. same goes with the eliptical. Its tough cuz isn't cardio the only way to get rid of belly fat? I've been trying to lose the tire around my waist since I was 15!!! Its very frustrating.
Eating wise, I'm kinda weird. I have times where Im really good. But as soon as something bad happens I have to eat like 15 chicken nuggets. I'm hoping to manage the emotional eating with support from everyone on the forum.
Here's to the final weigh-in!

Hi. I have the same issue with belly fat. I think the only way to lose belly fat is to lose weight all over meaning cutting calories or working out. Sometimes I eat because I get anxious but I always try to get back on track and that is what helps me. Hopefully I can get rid of my 'tire' too, lol. I usually walk for exercise. Easy enough, especially walking with a friend. Have to tried the old fashion way of losing weight, slowly, just reducing 300 calories a day? That's how I've been losing weight all over, about 1/2lb. a week.

As miss katz said, cardio has nothing to do with belly fat. Well, not directly. Please see the tutorial topic on spot reducing.
When you have time -- since you are tired of dieting -- please read through the whole tutorial. We believe education is the answer to long term weight loss.
Alos please be sure to read the instructions for this forum which will point out some of the important features of the forums and website that you won't want to miss.
