Hi all!  I've looked at this website a few times in the past, but I never realized there were forums.  In the past four years I've become a big user of a parenting discussion board, and it's been really helpful for me.  So, I thought I'd try it for weight loss too.

I'm a mother of three, and after the last two kids, I had a lot easier time losing weight.  Now, after number three, I don't know if it's because I'm over 30 or because it was the third kid, but I'm stuck at 170#.  My ideal weight is 145-150#, I was about 155-160 when I got pg with #3.

I think I eat pretty well, I just eat too much.  And I need to start exercising again.  So help me out with some inspiration, and hopefully I can do the same for you!

I don't have any kids so I don't know what you are going through, but inspiration is definately a great thing to have.  I'm not very inspiring, but I will tell you that you can do it!!!  You can't just want to (I want a million dollars) you have to decide to do it.  Once you make that decision it is easier.  Set small goals.  If you need to lose 30 pounds set small goals like 5 pounds a month.  It is a much more attainable goal in a very reasonable amount of time.  If you lose more than your goal you feel super good about yourself.

Treat yourself.  If you can afford it set aside little things that you would like to buy yourself, but just won't cause you don't "need" it.  (Not food, never reward yourself with food.)  At each 10 lbs. buy something nice as a reward!  If it's something you really want you'll try harder.  (Don't cheat and buy it before you lose the wt.)

Great advice.  I definitely get carried away with my goals, and then there's just too much on the plate.  I am going to start working on some more moderate goals right now!
