Weighed myself after a night out dancing on Saturday and it said '10s 13lb' which meant a 4lb loss, you c an imagine how I felt this morning when it said '11s 4lb' Not only have I not lost anything I've gained 1lb!!! Despite increasing my exercise and limiting my food intake!!! I did think I might have been dehydrated when I weighed myself. I need to learn from this don't weigh myself before Monday and keep exercising and controlling food intake and weight will eventually come off.

increase 1lb

Hi All,

NEW WEIGHT 259

Dreading Thursday, no matter how hard I try, I always seem to over indulge on Thanksgiving.  Trying to eat clean and very small portions all week and trying to take a walk everyday.  Still on prednisone, so the weight is holding on due to the medicine. (I am hoping, that is reason)

Well, despite an unsheduled weigh-in the other day at 207.8...My official weigh-in this morning was:

210.8 lbs.

Mondays have been notoriously #%@&! for me. I'm switching to Saturday weigh-ins from now on. What a kick in the pants this is...mixed emotions =:angry::dizzy::nono::crying:

I prefer the Monday weigh in's because then they keep me from overeating all weekend.  Which I would probably do if I didn't weigh in on Monday.

tours.....hang tight kiddo because you are working very hard to lose this weight and you are kicking serious butt!!! You must know how weights fluctuate and sometimes your body may take a big dip down to the next weight you are going to hang around at....I did that for a while, I would shoot up then drop down and stabilize around that lower number, so dont lose heart! :)

as for me, i am up today to 158.2, but i am not concerned, i know how much better the last few days have been eating wise and with gramms in the hospital on her last days possibly, its AMAZING that i am not eating myself out of the house!! we should learn today, if they take off the venitalator if her sick and tired heart will be able to pump on its own. We have had a few close calls over the weekend, heart rate shot way up to 180 had to defib her.....oh my Lord has his plans... ;-{ she has had a good long life!!!

Tontus-I take FULL responsibility for your success.

Well, I joined in June, you joined in October, so you only get 33.3%.

Anyway, today's weigh in wasn't so good for some reason.

soontobeme- sounds like a good plan, but I just cant have another bad Monday weigh-in, it's too depressing. Mondays are my worst day of the week. Probably cause I take Sundays off completely...

Bjd74- Thanks for the inspirational words. I wish you all the best with your sick family member. It really puts things into perspective. To lose or not to lose weight, is not the be-all, end-all...

Tontus- Ok, I can live with 33.3% Looks like you and I are going backwards this week. Maybe its in prep for a fantastic week to come!

Michelle- Good job glamour-doll...(I like your photo)

OK, I went on a binge and gain some weight. So, I need to work on getting these extra pounds back off. So, sign me up for this challenge. I have been doing really good the last few weeks so I hope this challenge will help through the holidays so I can stay on track.

Height 5'4"

current weight 141.5

goal weight 133lbs

Weigh in day will be fridays. I am going to make an effort to keep daily track of my weight so I will do that on another web site and use my average as my weight for the challenge.

The reason I am doing that is cause I had great success with that before. Now that I hardly ever weigh myself I am gaining. So, back to work.....

Maybe you should weigh in on Sundays before the day starts? Especially if this is the day you plan to go off plan, if you eat well and work out during the week and Saturdays, then maybe Sunday is the best day for your weigh ins.  Judy remember one day at a time and if you know you are doing things correctly it will catch up and the weight will fall off.

51.66 to 51.90 in 25 days now means projected gain of just 0.63lb for this month mind after putting on the brakes by dropping to 2000 calories I've only been back at 2050 for 2 days so let's not rule out the possibility this will sort things out. Right now 114.3lb (down from last week's 115.1lb - quite a change). Again a reminder to myself that this probably was not a difference of 100 calories but substantially more (sweet potato and chestnut manipulations). I've noticed that the ledgent and calculation on the PhysicsDiet graph is actually wrong - this is not a 0.13kg weekly rise - that would have taken me from 51.66 to 52.12 and my average is currently 51.90 so actually only a 0.07kg weekly rise, consecuently their surplus calculation is invalid not 138 but 74 calories.

Amen, Thank you Jesus!!! I am very thankful to see this drop, especially today!!!

You guys must know I have gone up to 162 in this challenge and struggled desparately to get back under the 160 mark for the last few weeks. I am thrilled that I am finally showing a drop because I have been working hard!!! Both eating and working out and thinking of what i eat.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!:chewing::grin:

Don't know if there is something wrong with my scales. Last week when I expected a weight loss it said I'd put on 1lb this week i'm 11stone which means I've

lost 4lb. which means I'm now 154lb.

I won't believe the scales until I see it coming down again.

Ok, so last friday I didn't have time to come on here and post but I did weigh in that morning. Sad to say I am up a couple of pounds. So put me down for 143lbs. I got some serious work to do this week if I want that number to go down. I am sure I am up even more now that I have had two thanksgiving dinners and eating out while on the road. So, time to buckle down and get back to square one...

I just randomly found this challenge and think it's awesome so I'd like to join please! :)

I'm 5'5"

Starting weight is 180.0 lbs
Goal weight is 170.0 lbs

Oh and it's slightly higher than the 2lb/week but since I'm like 50lbs overweight and led a previously very sedentary life and now I'm going to the gym every day, I've actually been losing 3-4 lbs a week by working out and cutting out and eating healthier foods.  So 10lbs in 4 weeks seems very attainable for me.

Currently 52.27kg (115.1lb) which is about 30% faster than I'd like to gain so calories got reduced a couple of days ago from 2050 back to 2000 and will remain so until I'm on track again.

Weigh IN: 187

I guess I should be thankful that I made it through Thanksgiving and still lost a pound....but honestly I ate salad with turkey on top (no stuffing, mashed taters, or anything for dessert)...I feel like I should have lost more.  I started working out harder this week too and did aerobics three days.....Grrrr......I'm frustrated! 150 seems so far away still......:crying:

Ok, well the scale didn't say what I wanted but it sure was better then it has been in the last few days. My weight is up one more pound. It's at 144lbs. I really need to figure out what the problem is and get some this extra weight back off. This coming week, I am going to lay off the exercise and really focus on my diet. Might even have to break out my "eat to live" book for some encouragement.

11s 4lb AGAIN! so back UP 4lb.

I'll stick in this week, my back is feeling better so I can get on with my exercise.

Time sure is flying by during this Challenge. 5 of the 8 weeks are gone, and I've only done 40% of my goal. Not bad, but it could definately be better. I have been eating good, but slacking on my exercise. I am taking up tennis again to replace that God-aweful elliptical machine. Perhaps a couple hours of tennis wont seem like torture.

Do you think when you go to HE11 it will just be a sea of people all lined up on Elliptical Machines and Stairclimbers, and the Devil comes out every year or so, and say "640 more days until the next break"?

Ha! Ha! Tourproven... that is just how I feel about my elliptical machine. But, I do have to say that it does it's job. I am always sweating when I am done with it. I haven't done mine all summer. But, now that the snow has came I will start back at it again. I get bored just doing the treadmill all the time.

Do you go to the gym to do tennis or what? I love doing the tennis on my wii game. lol It's fun and can be a workout if you put your all into it.

ps: I am with you. I think #%@&! is filled with elliptical machines... ha ha

Cportwine, you are really great. I love your posts and your attitude. Its a pity Wisconsin is so far away. I have some courts in my neighborhood that I look forward to playing on. I have met two people here locally that are credible players that I can actually play with, however the weather has not cooperated so far.... I will be playing this week for sure, despite temperatures of about 50*.

Cport, I consider you a good friend.
