I think that I've actually been maintaining, and have just weighed in low days. Today's weigh in was after not enough water and too much salt. On the plus side this has been my highest weight in weeks. Next week will be better, I'm sure, but I'm still very upset about having to report a high-end fluctuation.

I'm down 1.6 from last week so I am very happy with that, especially since I had a little binge yesterday. Of course that may show up next week. One thing I know is sooner or later you always have to pay the piper but for now I feel like I got away with something .

| NO CHANGE FOR ME, STILL AT 157. FLUCTUATE BETWEEN WEIGH INS, BUT HOLDING STEADY AT THIS ON REPORTING DAY. :) I HAVENT BEEN BEHAVING THE "BEST" WITH FOOD THIS PAST WEEK SO I AM VERY HAPPY TO BE AT THE SAME AS LAST WEIGH IN. ;)

I'm really not surprised, but it's only one pound, and I'll do better this week. I bought a kettlebell, and I am so excited to start using it. Has anyone else tried using them? Also, my weigh in day has changed to Sunday.

First off, I made a mistake. Could you please change my starting and goal weights?
I, for some reason, guessed my weight before weighing and used that number.
My true starting weight is :303
My new goal is: 290
Weigh in today: 301.2

Took the week off to spend time with the hubby before he deployed to Afghanistan - very little exercise and lots of eating out. Now that he's gone, it's back on plan for me.

Given the weekend I have, which I continued over into Monday I am actaully happy with no change because I expected a gain. I need to buckle down this week though.

I just bought a body bug and it should be arriving in the mail tomorrow. Has anyone used/had experience with one before. I am a physical education teacher who gained way toooooo much weight while I was preggers. I am hoping this will help me track my calorie burn throughout the day while I am teaching at school. It will be something neat to show my students too!!!! Thanks! :)

I didn't drop out, I just haven't been near my computer. I have a very busy household (I am a foster parent to 4 youth ages 11-15) Hopefully I can still be a part of the challenge :)
I weighed in yesterday 166.4lbs My start weight wasn't right, I guessed for that then re weighed myself the next day and I was actualy 169 not 173.
Not sure how i managed the loss, mostly keeping busy and eating more fruits and veggies, and less of the junk food and pop.

Hit it twice this week and didn't cut back on water or anything, so maybe it represents an actual, though small, loss. Added more vegetables back into the menu.

This week I'm posting a definite gain back to 52kg (114.5lb), which was the starting point for my challenge.
Male, 36.5 years, 5'5" who is "Lightly Active" requires 2150 calories to maintain their weight if their weight is 71kg (156lb = 11 st 2 lb). If that person is "Moderately Active" then 2150 calories maintains their weight at 53.5kg (118lb = 8 st 6 lb). I'm currently seeing 52kg on the scales and consuming 2150 calories so presumably if I continue to consume 2150 calories I will continue to slowly increse my weight until I gain the extra 3lb. If I'm only 'lightly active' then I can expect to gain weight from my current starting point at a rate corresponding to a 261 calorie surplus i.e. half a pound a week (237 grams - about a quarter of a kilo). That rate -of-gain is acceptable to me as long as it is mostly muscle but it is difficult for me to get my head around the idea of weighing 71kg (even if it is mostly extra muscle) I'm not saying that is wrong, just as I find it difficult to accept. If I gain a kilo in a month I might be tempted to drop calories a bit to slow the rate of gain. I've been at 2150 calories for 2 weeks - I propose to stay at this level for another 1-2 weeks whilst monitoring things.

I couldn't get on the computer for my weigh in date, but today I am 158.6 : ) Hoping this continues to go down, we don't have the money for the better food so I just try not to eat much, which is hurting the stomach lol. Thanks and good job everyone!!!
