MAY DAY CHALLENGE

Spring is almost upon us! I decided that I really need some motivation to get the body I desire before summer rolls around. That is why I'm challenging myself to lose 10lbs by May 1st. I really want to be back at 120lbs, as I have been struggling to get there for the last few months.

I want to exercise 4 times a week for an hour and eat 1200 calories per day on average the next month and a half.

Go ahead and list your goals to achieve by May 1st! Good luck!

I'll join.  I also joined the spring challenge but I can use all the motivation I can get.


I currently weigh 186.8 lbs.  My challenge goal is to weigh 180 lbs (if it is less I certainly won’t complain but 180 is enough of a challenge).  I also want to be able to hike for at least two hours carrying my toddler on my back without feeling exhausted.  I also want my size 14 favourite skirt to fit around my hips instead of having to wear it way up high like I currently have to.

To meet my goals I will:  do some form of cardio everyday; go for long walks (when it’s not snowy and cold.  What can I say, I’m a wuss when it comes to being cold); pilates twice a week; drink more water; watch portion size;  replace hot chocolates and mochas with tea and tea lattes; reduce processed carbs at dinner time; go to sleep by midnight.

Indeed if you're prepared to change your challenge date by one day (to April 30th), you could join the 41 of us currently doing the Spring Challenge - it isn't too late to join.
