For some reason I didn't get emails when posts went to this site this weekend. I thought no one was posting and you guys have been posting like crazy. Sorry.
My weekend wasn't that great, not terrible but could have been better. each day I went over about 100-200 calories...it's not the end of the world but that is how I can get started on a dangerous trend so I will nip it in the bud. I did get to the gym and had a good work out but it isn't enough if I am going to keep going over my 1300 calories M-F and 1500 Sat and Sunday. I will work on it this week and be ready for our next week end challenge!
Onceupon, you are looking good girl. Hope your formal affair was fun.
Gemini and BJD, looks like you both had good weekends too. Keep it up guys and I will jump back on the wagon here.

went to town today, got all we needed and more, and still have money left..very exciting! M was a bit of a challenge, but she enjoyed the mall..hadnt been since she was just a babe...i dont do malls...umm...we shopped around town all day then hit cooperage for dinner. I drank my water and a v8 but didnt eat since we were going to eat dinner out so i saved my calories for then. Got a lot of walking in too. So at dinner, I was very good, had a salad with greens peppers onions cucumber and blue cheese, then filet mignon broiled medium without the bacon wrap and a baked potato with ice tea. I had two small pieces of french baguette bread. I brought half of my meat home and then the skin and such of potato for pupps, they will love it tommorow! So, all in all, I did really well!!! We did get cheesecake with raspberry sauce on the side BUT we brought it home to have later this evening.
So we have filet left, I have half of M's sirloin burger and 5 mini slices of that bread as well, so i have lots of good leftovers...really glad i didnt pig out having not eaten alot of the day!
I am also pleased to report that my weigh in today was down to 181! THANK GOODNESS! I knew that yesterdays shouldnt be counted, it simply didnt make sense to see such a jump! I am happy to be back on track. Working really hard, even resisted a PEPSI and A MIDORI SOUR DRINK tonite at the restaurant and had tea. The last time we went I had a PEPSI and a Margarita! I am getting stronger! YAY for ME! I am making progress THANK THE LORD ABOVE!!
we have a busy day tomorrow too! i am sure i wont get much of a chance to eat. if the weather is nice, we may be outside working, or maybe we will rest and relax after going to town. We arent going to ABQ but into Los Lunas, so not far. We are opening a new bank acct with a new bank, I am excited! Then I get to pay all the darn bills! YAY! Then, we are doing our taxes too! Crazy, all the sadness and stress we have been going thru financially has taken this turn and now we are receiving from all around! God works in mysterious ways.
Have a great week all! :-D

Cport, I'm with you girl. This is my week to get back on track too. I've been letting my calories creep up and I need to stop it right now so you won't be alone.
That's the great thing about this site, we're never alone on this tough journey.

Hey BJ, nice job. You know superbowl is coming and it's a challenge which is a huge step in getting ahead of it. Maybe you can start planning some things now that you will enjoy but not go crazy on. For me it's shrimp, I can eat tons of them and even though there are some caloires in the cocktail sauce, it's nothing compared to the usual tons of cheese and fried foods I would usually do. This is my second time through superbowl with trying to stay on track and I remember how good it felt on Monday when I knew I had gotten through it successfully. I am just hoping I can do it again, and I know you can too!

Well, this weekend will be it for me. I am going to try and quit smoking. So, I am quitting all my challenges that I am in, sometime next week. I need to be able to focus all my energies onto that. Then If I need to after I am done with it, I will come back.
But, just thought I would give you all a heads up to why I will disappear for awhile. Of course I will still be posting in my diary.
Ok, so this weekend challenge for me is starting tomorrow. We are going out tonight and I am sure I will eat like a pig, due to stress. So, I want to get a good start tomorrow and try and get my weight somewhat normal for the other challenge weigh in on Monday.
So, the plan is to focus on exercising this weekend. My diet doesn't seem to be affecting me right now, no matter what I do. So, I will swap around some exercising routines and see if that makes a difference. I think I will continue on with reading my book, and maybe start my other one to keep my mind off of things for awhile. It's a horror book, so it should be good.
Ok, I will report back on Monday....

Good luck with the smoking Cindy. I think it is a good idea that you quit the challenge for now (although we will miss you TONS). Quitting smoking is VERY VERY hard so one challenge at a time is all you can do I think.
I hope it goes smoothly for you and you are back to your weight loss program soon.

Hi guys, I'm just checking in to get my weekend off to a good start by stating my plans.
Friday--keep calories under 1300--walk 2 miles, do weight training
Saturday--calories under 1500. walk 5 miles.
Sunday--calories under 1500, take dogs for hike 3-5 miles, weights.
Well, that's the plan, let's see what happens. I'll be checking in on during the weekend. Good luck to everyone!
I am going to the movies tonight so I will have to wear my big coat so I can sneak my low fat micorwave popcorn in. That's one advantage to loosing the weight....I have more room in my coat for sneaking popcorn in . Hey it's thier own fault, if they had one health snack I would buy it but they don't so I have to bring my own.
Cport, we will all miss you but good luck on your latest self challenge, I know you can do it and when you're ready come on back.

| Welcome Jessa. It really does help having some accountability on the weekend. It is so easy to go off on the weekend but if we do that all the time then we spend the next week making up for it and never get ahead. At least that has been my experience. This weekend site has helped me, just by posting my goals it makes me feel more accountable. Of course I don't always meet them, none of us do we are just doing the best we can and trying to help each other out. I think you'll like it.

welcome Jessa! we love having company on the weekends, as it can get challenging and we all need super support and what better way than to do it together!!!! We are a team! Have a most excellent weekend!
as for me, well, i am in a mood today, kinda snippy, had a bad dream and it shook me up. but all is not lost, i have eaten very litely today, and M and I just came back from a walk that was about 40-50 minutes. We left her stroller home today and she walked with me the whole way...or just about!! i carried her for little spouts, but she had fun racing my shadow and i jogged along with her some of the way too. I know, its not a full burn workout, but hey...BIG STEPS for the 3.5 yr old! I am proud of her efforts! I know she will have a nice nap today! I may do a small workout on the bowflex when I lay her down, we will see.
FOR SOME REASON I AM DRAGGIN THIS WEEK...not sure what is up. Ever have days you just want to sit and stare blankly at the TV? I dont even have something to watch for goodness sake, its just brainless staring. Hmm.....oh well, its gonna pass.
so, my pre weekend kick off is ok i suppose, not bad not great...keeping calories low, we know how my last 3 weeks have been going, friday weigh in is good, then saturday i balloon up again so i need to be especially aware of all i do.
For dinner tonite, D wants Waffles, so I am going to try the new foreman grille i have and make some orange roughy and have a small potato with butter & sour cream & some brussel sprouts. I will keep it low on the calories and salt and I wont eat after 8. The last few nites I have been eating after 8, which is on my no no list.....so tonite, i need to curb that...its the whole eating when D has his nite time snack...I KNOW, I NEED TO WATCH THAT TOO!!!!!
argh...its so unfair that we have to watch everything we eat. I know its just the way it is, but somedays i get so down knowing that i cant just eat a burger and fries and a coke like other people, or D can...or waffles even...although, i care not for waffles...my point is itd be nice to not plan the meal all the time, but what other choice is there? to lose you have to plan. To be beautiful you have to want it. To take a vacation to Ca in JULY I have to work out and make my body better so i can be free and enjoy the trip. I will be ok, I am just doing alot of inside arguing today....maybe its PMS talking????

Wow, I like how you broke it down into each day. That's great! I will still be doing it this weekend. At least focusing on exercising part of it. Plus, I figure I will be posting in my dairy and responding to people. I can't help it, I am addicted to this place also.

Cport, I am so glad you're addicted. I didn't think we'd see you but it is so great that you are here.
BJD, you are too funny, PMS stalking LOL. Sounds like you have a plan for the weekend too. I'm telling you I could not live without my George Forman grill. I use it all the time, it is so easy to cook fish and chicken on so it really helps me stay on track. Hope you like yours as much as I do.

Hey, fellow weekend warriors, how goes the battle.
I did okay on Friday stayed within my calories and so far today I've done okay, even went to my favorite burger place but I had a bowl of soup and convinced Frank, my husband, to give me 1/4 of his. Even at that 1/4 it was over 200 calories ! They are great burgers but... I walked 5 miles this morning so if I do my weights this afternoon and watch my calories the rest of the day I should be okay, we'll see. It an Italian restaurant tonight so it will be tough but I will do the best I can without making myself miserable.

Enjoy the Italian tonite Hiker! I miss eating out, and now that we can eat out, its like....well, do we wanna take the chance to spend money when we should be saving??? or maybe by the time he gets home and we get back out, since we live out of town....its just not worth it? but somedays I just DONT WANT TO COOK! I am out of ideas you know???
I came in at 178 today!!! WOW! I had a good day yesterday and today hasnt been too bad...just working on emotional growth and sitting on my arse writing emails to my sister in law watching Psych. I know I need to get up and do something, but at least I am not eating?

Hi guys, well so far I'm doing okay on the weekend but today is super bowl so lots of tempting stuff around. We'll see, I'll do my best. I did make sure to have some good things around for myself to snack on but it will be a trial. I am taking the dogs for a 3-5 mile hike this morning so at least that's something. Probably the only exercise I will get.
Last night I ended up ordering a really great spinach, gorgonzola and walnut salad with just a side dish of pasta and balsamic dressing. The salad was so good I didn't even touch the pasta! And the best part is I actually ended up 200 calories under for the day.
I'm sure you guys are going to have just as much of a trial as me. We will just have to get through it, at least we know we are not alone.

hey everyone! GO STEELERS!
I went shopping at walmart this a.m. i was up at 545a.m. taking a bath! i am supercharged today! D got up shortly after and took a bath too, its been a decent day! i spent 183 bucks at the store, got all but a few items, we needed so much stuff! the bares like toothpaste that is $5 a tube!>!?!?! things for the house and food.
I came in at 178 today day 2, good things! I got alot of good stuff at the store for my diet too! Last nite ended well, and today has been good too! I did have 3 of my mini choco.oatmeal cookies....they are kinda greasy?? so i wont be going back for more. that is a good ...no a great thing! i curbed it by having one of my 100 calorie snack bars and now i dont want anything. Had a good lunch, so for the day i am around 600. that is good so far, typical...now superbowl is coming up...i will try to be good, but i am allowing myslef like 700 or 800 calories for the rest of the day cuttoff at 8pm. No big party here, just fun times watching our, my team. GO STEELERS!!!
Exercise has been some crunches, pushups, jogging in place, nothing big but i am not totally being a bum. ha ha ha yeah right!!!! lol...
Enjoy!

Hey BJD, guess it's just you and me this weekend.
Sounds like you are having a great day so far and a plan for the rest of the day.
I did an hour and half hike w/ my babies and I did my jump video and so far my calories are really low, 387, planning on some pigging out later so I will need any extras I can get. See, I actually could care less about the Superbowl but it is huge to my husband and son so basically they watch it and I eat . One good thing for me is the Patriots aren't in it so the superbowl watching didn't start at 10 am like it does when they are in it so that helps a lot.
So is your little one a Pittsburg fan too? Guess she has no choice.....yet.
Have a great finish to your weekend.

Well we made it through another weekend. Mine went pretty well. Here are the goals I set Friday, in blue and in red what I actually did.
Friday--keep calories under 1300--walk 2 miles, do weight training-- calories 1217, 2 mile walk and resistance training.
Saturday--calories under 1500. walk 5 miles. Calories 1313, 5 mile walk, resistance training and 8 minute jump work out.
Sunday--calories under 1500, take dogs for hike 3-5 miles, weights. Calories 1461, 3 mile hike, jump video and resistance training.
I am really pleased with my weekend. Now if I can just keep it going.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend too.

Helooo fellow weekenders. My weekend went pretty well.
Saturday
I only had 500 calories before supper time and then I went out for veggie stir fry (which can't have been that many calories) and afterwards I had an apple crisp (no ice-cream). I was OK with that.
Sunday
Was OK too. We went out for breakfast and instead of bacon and eggs etc I had two whole wheat crepes with granola, bananas and honey inside (very yummy) with fresh fruit and a side of yogurt. We didn't have lunch because we at breakfast to lat so during the Superbowl we had homemade pizza. I had a spinach and cheese pizza which I think was around 800 calories (which was OK since I didn't have lunch).
During the Superbowl we had a visitor who brought over spinach dip with crackers and veggies and some cheese balls. I had a couple of the cheese balls and some of the dip but then got into my diet chips and ended up eating another 400 calories or so in snacks.
I am not a fan of either the Steelers or the Cardinals so I didn't really care who won but I was a little disappointed to see the Cardinals lose (sorry BJ) just because they were the underdogs. What a great game !!!!

Hey guys! Great job on your weekends. Way to stay strong I don't know if I'll be around much...I think I'm going to quit dieting for awhile. Just super tired of thinking about everything I put in my mouth with no results, so while I may stick around the forum, I'm going to be trying maintain rather than lose for awhile.
My Saturday was really bad - pizza for TWO meals Blegh. Felt bad afterwards, and no wonder. Sunday was a much better day, with whole grain cereal for B-fast, pasta and veggies for lunch, and homemade sushi for dinner. Even if I'm not going to count calories, I do want to be accountable for making healthy choices.

HELLO EVERYONE! I FEAR I MAY BE LOSING MY RUNNING MATE HIKER SOON! BUT I UNDERSTAND, WHEN YOU HIT YOUR GOAL...WELL, THE GOALS MUST CHANGE AT THAT STAGE...SO BEST OF LUCK TO YOU BOTH!!! I SURE HOPE I AM NOT GONNA BE ALONE IN HERE...BUT IF I AM, I WILL STILL POST MY WEEKEND ACTIVITIES FOR MYSELF AND MY OWN ACCOUNTABILITY! :) BEST OF LUCK TO YOU BOTH!
so my weekend went smashingly well, considering it was the superbowl and the game was very intense!!!! i almost thought my boys werent gonna pull out the win but then WHAMMOOOOOO here they come! YAY! So, snacking that day was really good actually, i didnt go over my calories at all. I did have a cookie I think, but looking back i cant remember so it must not have affected me. I tried to be very aware of my intake and i think for the first weekend ever, i did OKAY! :)

Wow, 2 horses and 2 dogs, now that is quite a commitment. You are such a good person to take on 2 horses, they are so much work and so expensive to keep, or so I'm told. I have never owned one but my neice manages a boarding facilty and keeps a couple horses also so I have some idea. Well good luck with your expanding family. you must have your hands full
BTW--I need you guys as much as you might need me.

Ok people it is Friday....what do we have planned for the weekend?
How will we combat our cravings and keep things under control? I plan on running Saturday and Sunday as the weather is supposed to be nice (well not -40 so that is nice).
I hope to maintain my weight or lose some by Monday.
These are my goals what are yours?

Okay, we are off and running for the weekend. Well for me no running or even walking this weekend. I had a minor procedure done but no exercise for 3 days. Actually I plan to cheat a little and go for a very easy snow shoe hike on Saturday night. It's a moonlight snowshoe hike and there may not be another one this year so the heck with it I am going.
On top of no exercise (or very little) we are having duck on Sunday, my all time favorite and no way I am not eating the skin so my plan is to be as careful as possible for today and Saturday, will try to keep my calories under 1300 both days which is really hard since we eat out Friday night and twice on Saturdays but I will do my best. On Sunday I will allow myself 1700 calories which will let me have my duck including skin (750 calories for leg and thigh with skin) and still eat something the rest of the day.
I'm not sure how I am going to do it, I guess willpower and no snacks except fruit, broth, tea or yogurt.
Good luck to everyone and check in if you can over the weekend.

Great plans you guys! Well, its not my official kickoff of course, but i am planning already since i know what we are having tonite. We decided on pizza, since its friday and i dont have to cook! I love that! I am deciding between a calzone with bell peppers and tomato sauce for dipping (if they have it) or a vegetarian pizza just for me, and then D and M get whatever they like. I am craving a calzone, i think it sounds soo yummy! I am sure its a bad choice, and so far today, I have had 500 cal. and i am allowing myself 800 for tonite for 1300 total today. I am also gonna get the bowflex upper body workout in and go scoop horsie poop too! That takes about 25 minutes, I scoop it all up into weelbarrow and then drop it and cover it way off at the edge of our property. LOL...didnt you guys just need to hear that?!?!! Tonite D is working on the truck, he got his part in, so after that itll be hot tub and then maybe some tv or a bath...we will see. Last nite we crashed at 9pm. Been really tired lately, not sleeping too well.
Saturday, not sure yet...D works, so its another regular day of chores and being with M, exercise bowflex lower body, maybe a walk with M and then relax with D tomorrow nite. Not sure about food, will need to make some cookies for D....i think...havent made the decision just yet...i know the temptation involved!
Sunday, if Truck is fixed, we plan to go get alfalfa for horsies and then go to home depot for wood and start laying the groundwork for the horsies stable...its gonna be 12x16!!! BIG!!! We have to rent some machine to dig holes for the posts...and its calling for rain that day too. We will see what is achieved with weather to stop us, it could either be a work out day or a relax and catch up on recorded shows!!!
I will try to behave either way, and I wish you guys luck too!!! Enjoy eating out hiker....and the moonlite snow show walk..that would be AWESOME!! We have nothing like that here, not enough snow! Have fun, be careful, esp after a procedure!

Good morning guys, well Friday was challenging for me but I made it through with 1.298 calories, my plan was under 1300 so I made it....barely . After supper I really wanted a yogurt but I didn't have enough calories left so I just made a cup of hot tea and toughed it out and you know what....I didn't wake up in the middle of the night hungry or anything....I knew it was a case of wanting it, not true hunger but boy sometimes it is hard to tell the difference.
Today I am going to try and keep my calories under 1300 again but on a Saturday that won't be easy but I will do my best. I want those calories for tomorrow .
Hope you all have a great Saturday.

It was quite here this weekend, hope that means everyone was out having a lot of fun this weekend.
Mine went okay, I stayed on track calorie wise even saving those extra calories for Sunday and for exercise I did the moonlight hike on Saturday and on Sunday we took the dogs for a short hike so at least I got some exercise in.
What about you guys? Challenging weekend?

i am here...although i noted the same thing...how very quiet it was this weekend! i was kinda sad missing everyone!
my weekend was fine, but started rocky with the calzone friday. i shot up on sat. so i had crab for dinner sat and kept it lighter. i shot up again sunday morning and got all down that day, D was working on the horsie house with Scott, a friend so i made cookies. Chocolate chip and Oatmeal scotties..they loved em, i had 2 cookie spoons of dough...i say that stingily...i prob had more!!! but i was also watching his 5 year old chase dogs around the house and make lots of messes..he knocked the wood pile down, lost a water gun, spilled popcorn, wouldnt sit still....man, he made M look like a STAR! i daresay i am doing well with M. So, monday we went to get more supplies, then to the feed store for food and some more stuff, collars, leashes and a lasso and brush...if we ever get close enough to get that all on them!!! HA HA i talk about them lke they are overgrown dogs these horsies we have!!! LOL They are so cute, and their little ribs are finally gone, they are eating constantly. The old owner, our neighbor came over and asked how they were....well, of course, they ran away and of course they are a TON better since no longer living in your squaller.....how bad am i?!?!
So we came home, oh yeah i got a new vacuum! I am sooo EXCITED to try it out!!!!! Umm, so yesterday we worked on the horses home all day, it was frigid cold with a wind whipping that 3 layers didnt help! My face is red still today, it was just harsh, but i plugged on since we want them to have shelter. We have half of the sides up and 3 panels on the roof, hope to work some at nite after work...but reality will probably be next weekend. I would love to let them at least get the wall shelter, but he said they are ok, and lets complete the house and get the bedding down first, so they can really enjoy it. The old owner claims they wont use a house.....yah, maybe at YOUR house, considering they had about 40 sq ft to live, eat, poop, pee and get shelter...no wonder they didnt sleep in it!!! I wouldnt have either!!! the poor babies, I cant wait to give them the home they deserve. I am in love with my new horsies!
I guess i did something right cuz my wt is back down to 177 today. YAY! I have been busy all morning, had some oatmeal and not sure what the dinner menu will be but at this time, i am just trying to stay warM!
its gloomy and cold here today, so any workout i do will be bowflex or the walking, although i am somewhat stiff after yesterday, guess i worked pretty hard too!!!

I'm checking in a little early for the weekend challenge but I have a really busy day and I like to start my challenge on Friday...otherwise I use Friday as an excuse to overeat .
No plans for what I will be doing this weekend but I will try and figure it out and post my plan later.

Besides the burger my weekend has been really good calorie-wise, I havent made the best choices in quality of food but it has been small portions.
Hope you have a good Sunday hiker!

Hi OnceUpon, for me the weekend is almost over and I actaully have enough calories left to have a dish of ice cream again tonigh...without blowing it. I just love when that happens.
It sounds like you are doing this the same way I am....I pretty much eat anything but I try and watch the portions and I save calories where I can but like tonight I had steak for supper (6oz) and I made baked steak fries and basically had what would equal 1/2 of a baked potato. I also had some summer squash, that I don't measure or watch the portions. I figure even a lot of summer squash can't be too bad.
Have a great rest of the day.

ugh..you guys i hadnt had time and i also aint getting any notices....so its been a bit of a hassle these days!!! my weekend is really just starting last nite, so far has been busy finishing the horses home, which we did just as the sun went down tonite....havent even had 1000 calories today! wierd! went to wal mart, got my hair trimmed, was gonna cut it to a bob and the stylist wouldnt let me, since she knows i am trying to grow it long!! lol....still bummed about my car, but we will work it out, either its gonna get fixed and made nice again or i will go get a volvo wagon i have been eyeing...its a v70 with all the trimmings, even a doggie gate in back!!!
tomorrow we are doing something, but alas i cant recall what it is??? maybe just relax, oh..yeah! we are having our valentines dinner tomorrow early evening, at a Ribs joint, its BBQ and steak and yummies.....they have Tractors all over the restaurant, toys, pictures, paintings, vintage ones out front...its all hillbillied out but its like the best meat place we have in our small town!!! i am not sure what i will have, it seems everything i choose there i dont end up liking...except the steak fries and their appetizer plate with the zuccinis sticks and such???? with the yummy ranch dressing?? ya, the fried stuff......its just that the meat is so grissly you know??? its a mans place to eat, and D can get his Prime Rib, so I go along...he is pickier than I!!! Hey BJD, don't know if it's too late....you may have already gone to the BBQ ,place but if not what I've been doing is when we go to BBQ I get a kids plate, it only has two ribs but that's enough to satify me without feeling like I am sacrficing too much. It comes with one side so I get a baked sweet potato and then I usually order a second side, either a salad or veggies and when I do that I am well within my calorie limit. I know 2 ribs isn't a lot but at least for me it works. In any case, enjoy yourself, not feeling like you are deprived is a big part of doing this thing we are all trying to do.
I am not getting noitces either, I have no idea what has gone wrong, it drives me crazy too.

oh well, i blew it but i enjoyed the onion rings and my salad and i ate the fish out of the fried fish and chips.......and lapped up the steak fries. the healthiest thing i had was iced tea!!! but i didnt eat anything except oatmeal today and i think we are going to go work on the horses lights for their house, so i dont turn into a bump on the couch lethargic from the junk. Its wierd how some things just dont work anymore...getting pickier about what i like to eat out.....have images but they are never quite as good as in my head....
so today, talk about how the site is working???? now, I opened my email and had 71 email notices.....I am now getting ALL AND ANY RESPONSES TO ALL THINGS....I had stuff there about people i have never talked too, forums i never went into...it is a serious overcorrection. I just want the access to the ONES I WRITE TOO.....and look into...like it was! What is going on???? Its craziness!! I deleted 90% of the emails since i had no idea what any of them were!!! And the other thing you see all that was written in that entry, not just a link to it.....not sure what to think?
How are your emails coming to you?

ok guys, today my weekend is starting...D took Saturday off since its really slow at the shop. My weigh in today is 174!
So here is my 3 day weekend lineup....
Tonite, Corn Beef and Cabbage for dinner...bowflex upper body workout, clean the field and feed the horsies
Saturday, work outside if weather is good with D, we have outdoor projects to work on. Eating will be light since when we are outside we kinda forget to eat....exercise will be what we work on.
Sunday, more outside work or relax a little...will depend on what we get done Saturday. Probably still eating CB&C..... yummy stuff....
Monday, appt for Car to get diagnosed and estimated from the accident that D had (a hit and run against Us, my car :( ) first thing Monday morning...then after that, who knows? come home and sulk or celebrate...one or the other. Sulk if its gonna get repaired and celebrate if they decide to cash us out and i can go get that V70 volvo wagon for sale in ABQ with my name on it.
We are low on cash till next payday so no eating out this weekend. Just home cooked meals for me. :)
Hope that all of you are doing well and happy!!!! Miss you guys!!!

Hey BJD, I can't believe it's time for another weekend challenge. Looks like you got a great plan there, Corned Beef and Cabbage is one of my favorites, with lots of veggies like carrots, turnips, onions, whatever.
This weekend will be a little challenging for me but I will get through it
I've already done my 2 mile walk and I plan on stopping at the gym for a 30 minute swim. Probably soup and 1/2 sand which from Panera for supper.
Saturday, spending the day with my nephews, ages 3 and 5. We plan on hitting the playground so I'll get some exercise there and maybe do my jump tape, unless my kick boxing tape comes in today. I usually let the boys pick where we eat so it might be really bad like Mickey D's in which case I will get a small cheeseburger which won't fill me up but will keep me until I get home and can get some real food. Saturday will be the tough one, too little exercise, to many temptations becuase I love to spoil the boys so in addtion to Mickey D lunch we will probably go for ice cream or hot chocolate too after the playground.
Sunday, we're having a crock pot chicken recipe made with cream of chicken and cheddar cheese soup over whole wheat pasta and I will make a couple of veggies to have on the side. For exercise we will take our dogs for an off leash hike probably for an hour or so and I will either swim or do the jump tape.
