Well it's Friday so I will start my weekend today. I am starting with good intentions and I really don't have any major challenges (other than my own weaknesses) so I am hoping I can stay on track.

Good luck everyone, hope the weekend goes well.

Well, it's that time again. I for one need to do really good this weekend. I am starting right now. Not waiting until supper time. I had a horrible week and it's time to change it around.

So, plan is to keep today as light as possible for food, to make up for yesterday. I want to get in allot of exercise this weekend as well. Which shouldn't be to hard. Not much going on around here because of the frigid temps. We are at -22 this morning.... YIKES! But, I will have to go out sometime to run errands. So, I hope it warms up a little. They say it's going to start warming up around noon today. Sucks! it's been this way for the last two days. I feel like a hermit only leaving the house when I have to.

Ok, so that's the plan for me....eat light.....exercise......

Good Luck Everyone!!!!!

I am in good spirits today and ready for an awesome weekend. I have been really good the last couple of days and I know that I can continue it

It really helps to start my day off right. I have been drinking a BIG glass of soy milk for breakfast which really fills me up until lunch time. There is quite a bit of fat in it (8-9 grams for the big glass I have) but I think that is what keeps me full for so long.

I haven't started my juice soup fast, I think I'm going to do Saturday only this time around.  I think I could do two days if I wanted I just don't think it's neccesary.

Hope the weekend goes good guys.  Keep up the good work and check in often, that always seems to help me!

Good morning guys, just checking in. Friday went okay, about 1300 calories which is my goal M-F. Saturday and Sunday I allow myself a little more, 1500 which lets me have a small treat each day.

Exercise wise I did okay, 40 minutes on the treadmill. Nothing like Cport does but for me it progress .

Have a good Saturday all.

happy saturday team!

this is my official kick off to the weekend. I have a lineup of activity. I must go to the grocery store, and I am TIGHTLY budgetted, so please keep me in check in my head...no extras this week!
then, sunday is football day, and normally i dont care at all...but the steelers AND the eagles are BOTH playing...so i think we will be watching the games. Being from PA myself, that is a big deal. My entire family in PA is on their needles, wondering what if they BOTH won??

hmm....so that will be exciting and hard to not munch, but I will do my best. We had pepperoni and cheese pizza last nite, as our splurge. I got a greek salad too, that was yummy! I had 2 slices and didnt eat all the bread of either slice, so given each is about 300 calories, i saved SOME by not eating the bread in its entireity. I had a bag of my pretzels too, and a cup of popcorn while watching Austin Powers Goldmember. (those movies are TOO MUCH!)

i did workout yesterday, I didnt go crazy and do two hours, at least not working out. I did 1 mile of my fat burning walk, then went outside into the sun and cleaned up the back yard then took all the christmas lights down around the fenceline outfront, it took some time. I then cleaned the house and vacuumed. More than I have done most of the week and that is ok. I needed the break.

I havent weighed in yet, but I will before I leave. I hope its at least at 183 or even better 182! But given last nites dinner...who knows till i look?

If the weather is as nice monday as they say it will be, I am sure we will go back to the river and take a big 2 hour walk again...will let you know!:wink:

Good Luck on your weekend BJ! I totally understand about the grocery thing. I went way over this time around. Hope that some money comes in on Monday, or I will be screwed.

I am still envious of your river walks. Can't wait till it warms up here. I miss walking down by the river. I am already planning my first fishing trip on the shores down there. Can't wait to get out and do some camping. Go for hikes, fish, and swim..... oh man! I hope summer comes early this year.....

Cport, I'm with you, I much rather walk outside but the weather is just not cooperating. It's been 15-20 below zero with the windchill and that is just too cold to get out. Of course your in Canada so maybe it doesn't seem so bad to you?

I actually like winter but more in the 20 degree area, perfect if it's 20, little or no wind and sunny.....My favorite kind of day. Not that we get a lot.

we will get to the river, for sure. Maybe not sunday but definately monday! The weather is very nice today too. Its a bit breezy which is not my favorite but its better than gusty!

I am about to get working out with the fat burning walking video. I dont know how much i will do, maybe 3 miles..i kinda lost the motivation after weighing in today, I just wanna sit down and mope. BAD i know. That is why i came here to make myself accountable.

I feel bad that the weight jumped back up! :(

I made some chicken enchiladas for dinner tonite. I boiled the chicken in seasoning and water, then i shredded it. I left the broth with all the flavoring in the pot and mixed in tomatos and let it cook down. I poured some of that into the baking dish, then took torn in half corn tortillas that i soaked in the original broth, then chicken, cheese and sauce and made it two layers. Just something i put together from different recipes i found. I didnt have cream of any soup..so i had to improvise. I put it into the fridge to bake later. We will see, but I know its not the best, but D had wanted some...so I made them to his liking mostly. I will eat it, no doubt, with lettuce and tomato and maybe some sour cream depending on how HOT it is...I used chili and jalapenos to spice it up! I will make a small salad for having with it, we dont eat rice or beans very much, so none of that stuff.

I did really well at the store, D asked for a bone in ham, and I happened upon a SLEW of Meats marked down, I got a pot roast, some chicken, hamburgers...i hit a jackpot! So we have alot of stuff that shoudl get us thru to the next check. I ended up spending 95! instead of my budgeted 75! but then, i didnt plan to get the meat and couldnt pass it up!

So, the weekend is not going to bad aside from the weigh in this am. Maybe I should change my daily weigh in day to midweek! I may fair better emotionally that way!!!

LOL...ahh the things I think of to make an excuse as to why i am not losing!!

ok, i wont discourage myself, you guys gotta keep me in check! i am not honoring my list of things to do.

Compliment to me from me for today: I am a good person, and a good mom. I had a challenge today and I overcame it. that is my good for the day to myself! Good Job Baby!:tongue:

BJ, I am going to try out a new dish later too. Hope we both have success. I was also thinking that I want to make some regular meat enchiladas. I got recipe sent to me in an email, it sounded good, but of course I will make my own version.

I am thinking some ground turkey, refried beans, taco sauce, roll it up in tortillas cover with more sauce and fake cheese and bake it. Sometimes after it cooks I will add tomatoes and lettuce (depending on my mood) :yum: yum! Maybe I should save that for tomorrow. I suppose I could make it up and eat it tomorrow. Plus, this dish always freezes well. That way I can have some and pop the rest in the freezer to keep from eating the whole pan, lol.

The other dish, I have never done before. It's called Chinese chicken in brown sauce. I thought I would just make the chicken and the sauce separate. I don't want to waste the chicken, if I don't like the sauce. Then I can have some steamed stir fry and rice with it.

Yep, unlike you Bj, I am big bean eater and hubby loves the rice stuff. Anyway, hope your meal turns out great...

Hiker, yes it has been to cold to go outside here. I hate being cold, and I will never get use to it. We got down to -40 a couple of nights ago. I am tired of it. I want the summer and some heat...

So my weekend is going wonderful, yesterday I even jogged a little.

I'm not starting my fast until tomorrow, hubby cooked breakfast and I knew it would break his heart if I didn't eat it.  So I just had small portions.  Juice/soup fast is still on just a slight delay.  I'm hoping for another small jog today.  Keep up the good work everyone!  Stay strong!

oh cindy, please know I LOVE RICE! I love brown rice, white rice, esp jasmine rice...but i have gotten so outa touch with it, i dont know if i could bring it back now. The only time I have it is when we (which we havent done since the summer) go to the china buffet. I get the sticky rice or the fried rice. That is definately something i covet when we go, and i dont overdo. Enjoy a big bite for me!

I just did 3 mile fat burn workout and then 20 minute yoga after. YAY FOR ME!

I am getting ready to take a nice hot bath scented with Patchoulli oils. I can smell it now and its calling...so on that note...

Check in later!

PS. I felt that workout today. Maybe I shouldnt have taken such a break this week!!! ha ha ha lol...

BJ and Cport, your meals sound terrific. You must both be good cooks. Me, not so much, the think I make best is reservations . Actually my specialty is knowing where to order the best of just about anything you can think of. Like right now is supper time....it's D'Angelos tonight. I think I will have a hamd and cheese wrap 310 calories isn't too bad. I may even have some soup with it.

Keep up the good work!

LOL, I know I am didn't eat stuff like that for a long time when I started dieting. But, now I am able to bring things like that back into my diet, with moderation.

I came up with the recipe off the internet because I was looking for something to put on my bird eye stir fry that I had bought. I don't like the sauce packs that came with it. Anyway, heres the recipe that I based my meal off of....

And then this is what I came up with. I can't follow a recipe to save my life, lol. So, I made up what I had....

Ok, the changes I made was I double the sauce and I don't measure, just did it untill I thought it tasted good. Then I did the chicken seperate and de-skinned and de-boned and cut up. I did the stir fry steamed in the microwave added that. Put it all together and whalla...

So, this is super for me, served with white rice- it was all I had in the house..

That's to bad that you don't get into cooking...I really love trying new things. Not that allot of times it goes strait to the garbage, but sometimes I score and get a keeper for a recipe... lol

I haven't done the enchiladas, I don't know if I will do that tonight. I don't have any re fried beans, so I thought I would use chili beans and just rinse them and smash em... I mean really there all pinto beans anyway...

Sounds good, Hope the juice/soup fast goes well for you. My last fast didn't go so well. But, that's ok, I will try again sometime next week... Mine are usually no food and just tea..... But, I do tend to snack very, very, very lightly.

I think that I am at a weight now, that fasting really affects me to much. I will get light headed and stuff and I hate that. So, I try to do it, but keep it healthy...

So far my weekend is going well, I have been able to stay within my calories. It is snowing pretty hard today so I don't know if I will get a walk in and if I do probably only a mile or two at best.

I really want some ice cream tonight so I am going to try and save enough calories so a cup of Ed's double churned....either Fudge Tracks or Mint Chocolate Chip. I will have to keep a good grip on my food today to get that one in .

Cport, I think you're right about fasting, not helping you a great deal.  I know from the New Year challenge you are really more at a maintenance stage. At this point it must be harder for you to loose but I think you are doing it a good way...healthy eating and exercises. That is my goal too, I have a little more to loose but I know it is going to be very slow going from here on out.  I do miss those days when I could fast a get a good jump.

OnceUpon, good luck with you fast today, if you get light headed nibble on a little protein....now I said a little, that would not be a whole chicken . Just kidding, I know when I fast I feel like I could eat a whole chicken.

I totally forgot I was starting my fast today, so I guess I'm skipping it.  I'll do it next week.  But otherwise my weekend is still "good".  I feel bloated though, so I think I need to cut back on salty foods.  I noticed that my favorite salad dressing has a lot of sodium.  And sometimes I get a pickle or a pepperchini for a treat and they have tons of sodium!

Hope the weekend is going good for everyone else!

Ok, lets see I can't really remember what all I ate on friday, but I think it was a good day. Saturday was good and Sunday was bad.

But, got my weight down some for the challenge, so that was good.

Hope everyone else did good this weekend, and hope BJ is still working hard....

Hi guys, hope everyone had a good weekend. It really helps that you guys are here on the weekend, it is nice to have "company" on this struggle 7 days a week.

My weekend went well, here is what it looks like:

Friday 1219 calories and 40 minutes on the treadmill ,Saturday 1363 calories but no exercises  and Sunday 1430 calories and I snowshoeing and did some shoveling . I even had enough calories left on Sunday night for my dish of ice cream...mmmm, it was so worth it.

We had no big plans so it makes it easier than when you go out. a lot less challenging.

Hi guys,

My weekend was 50/50 I had a great day Saturday calories were great and I did a 8km run but then Sunday went down hill. I had a cinnamon bun for breakfast, fish and chips for lunch and a burger and fries for supper (plus some other snacks during the day). I was feeling really blah so I ended up eating bad food to make up for it.

I weighed myself Saturday morning and I was at 159lbs but I didn't dare weigh in this morning after all I ate yesterday. I am back on track today. I am feeling kind of sick to my stomach with helps me not eat.

Sunday I blew it due to giving away a dog, got down and sad and ate ate ate....but its what we had to do. 2000 calories easy, tried to count, but it just made it worse and i wanted to eat more...did yoga

Monday got a 2nd period for this month, so i was headachy, crabby, bloated, argh.. and ate ate ate. Chocolate, sweets anything junky and #%@&! came to me. Hit around 1800 or so calories, maybe more, stopped counting. Walked 2.5 miles.

Tuesday, weighed in but not thrilled. back up to 185 from 184.3 saturday.

Ok, so none of us had a really great weekend. So, lets start to focus on the weekend coming up and get this thing done.

We don't have to be pigs just cause it's a weekend. We can have control on the weekends also. We just got to take it one step at a time.

So, what's everyones plans for this weekend?

As far as I know we are not doing anything. So, that will make it easier for me. Plus, no money to do anything, so that should make it even easier for me.

My plan is to focus on exercise, and find new ways to make fish. So, I will dive into the recipes and see what I can come up with. Getting really sick of my lemon veggie stuff, on my fish. Need some new ideas...

Anybody else got a plan yet... ?

frick and frack, i had it all written and i hit the magic button that takes it all Away!

if weather is nice and we get motivated we may begin working on the landscaping again. or we may be lazy and watch movies all weekend, enjoying the company and the fireplace. its too soon to say. food, well, we wont be going out to dinner anytime soon, so it will be whatever we all decide to eat at that point. working out will be something that we do together, whether its a walk here around the neighborhood again or a river walk, but i wont be doing the walking video or the bowflex when he is home. It takes from time with him, that is what i do on the working days, not the weekends. The only time i do that is if he is working on the cars or something that i dont want to do with him (which is rare). I may do more yoga, since he enjoys the views....lol :tongue:ahh my hubby is such a perve......:tongue::wink:

i just need to get thru the week first, then once its almost gone i can begin to think about the weekend.

Today is the day I need to focus on for now. I am struggling with trying the Slimquick Hoodia again. I read some more today, and after my crash this weekend, I am considering taking the pills at lunch time as they tell me to do. I just dont know. I need that jumpstart I fear.

BUT THE WHAT IFS MAY STOP ME!

the pills are the SLIMQUICK HOODIA formula for women. I got them last week at walmart but I havent really tried them yet. I cant see much to hurt me, really and they have green tea and real hoodia in them. I am not sure if I will try seriously or not, but I am thinking about trying it for a week Starting today. You take them before lunch and before dinner. I just dont want to gain again because of some weird reaction to these pills. I cant find anything terribly bad about them, just that they may not work....which is the case with everything, incl dieting!!! ha ha ha lol....

I agree, why not try them. You already got them, might as well. And if you notice that they are not helping or making you gain or something. Then just quit taking them. If they do help, well, then bonus... It sounds like they are pretty natural, so what can be the harm... really how is that any different then taking vitamins and stuff.

I am a big believer in trying new things.

BJD, I agree with Cport, you got them and you've done your research and they seem safe so what the heck, may as well give them a try. If you take them for a week or so and feel you are gaining just stop taking them.  Keep us posted on how they work out for you.

ok guys thank you for telling me its ok cuz that kinda gave me the push to try it out. I just took my first dose before lunch, which consisted of a couple nibbles on the ham as i was breaking it apart, a medium carrot, water of course, and a piece of provolone cheese. I also just finished my 1st 32oz of water, not counting the water i have been drinking vitamins with (12 ounce glass every time). I didnt put in the workout video, but I got up and did the motions, jogged for 5 minutes, did my kicks, knee lifts, side steps in sets of 30, for a total of 15 minutes. Then I did 60 crunches, 30 butt lifts and 60 jumping jacks. I may do more, but i broke a sweat and got off my arse for a spell. A spurt here and there is about what i am feeling like doing today. Just kinda crampy again so not too uppity you know!?!:dizzy:

i am feeling somewhat more in control today, eating wise.....why is it harder when hubby is here? do you guys ever have that experience? i wanna eat if he eats...who ever wants to eat alone? or like eating what he feels like instead of going thru motions of making two different meals? or seeing what he is eating and thinking, hmm that looks tasty.... i know its all about balance, but its funny that i eat less when he isnt here.

Just something to think about maybe......you would think i am trying NOT to eat in front of him, since he is my little demon tracker....though lately he hasnt hassled me not to cheat..he knew i was feeling less than good the past two days. He should have been on my arse when i was eating the crispy treats, or the bowl of cereal at 930 at nite, or the 2nd sugar free chocolate popsicle.....ug...just writing it all down again makes my tummy hurt!

BJD, it makes perfect sense you eat more when your husband is there. We have been programmed since very early on that eating is a social event and a way to show love. I would say of all of the parts of dieting that is the hardest to deal with. We want to eat with those we love, we want to cook (or in my case buy) special treats and we want to share the whole eating experience.

That is one of the reasons I have decided to forbid noting this time around but I do control portions....I mean really control them. If hubby is having a hamburger so will I but, I cut it in half and throw half away before it tempts me. I know some people can't throw food away but my feeling is it's wasted either way, if I eat food I don't need isn't that a waste....and it put pounds on me. If I throw it away it's just a waste. Anyway, that is how I handle eating with my husband, I eat it all just very, very small portions.

I always make something else for myself. I couldn't always do that. Sometimes I had to walk away. Which I didn't want to do. But, I did.

I am pretty good about it now. And if I do decide to have what he is having then I don't throw the other portion away, I just give to him, lol. He's my clean up guy. He always has seconds anyway, so he just has the rest of mine instead.

But, if I have to my dog or the garbage can gets it. I had a hard time getting over the throwing away food thing too. It took awhile, but now I don't even think twice about it.

You know that is one of my rules. Not to eat something I don't like. So, if it's not doing it for me, away it goes. Same applies for my other rule. Portion control...

Good Luck BJ, you will find something that works for you and him. Just got to try out different things and see what is best.

thanks ladies, its funny you both hit some points that i am now enstating in regards to the "weekends with hubby". I noticed that when i had cereal with him sunday nite, i had one of M's kiddy bowls and i gave him the super soup bowl...like twice the size. I noted too that i didnt max my bowl out, sure it was full (had bran flakes) but i used splenda and didnt cover the cereal with milk. Just enough. I do some little things like that, I did it with the pumpkin pie too, he'd get the size of 3 to us while i take a small finger width slice.... LMAO!:caution: I make separate meals alot, but i am always at the sink washing dishes that way!!! I am a compulsive washer, i cant leave it to sit. I have been making sinks of soapy water lately since D broke my scrubby wand thing scrubbing a pan....LOL.......he felt so bad he even tried to glue it back together! he can fix anything! we were in a heated talk about the freaking finance drama and he squeezed too hard i am sure...LOL:devil:....anyway, digressing...sorry!

i just made snacks for M she kinda munched all a.m and didnt really eat a lunch, so i made her cream cheese, ritz and summer beef sausage sandwiches. She has eaten like 8 already! MAN She can eat the house! I am glad to see her eat, she is only 31pds fully dressed! My little "Olive Oil" girl! She is tall and thin, but is the cutest shape! I love that she is petite but tall! I have her just moving into 3t's now....but she eats all the time it seems, snacky snacky, and she loves veggies and fruit...i am doing good by her...hey there is my compliment for the day!:shooting_star::ribbon:

i will work on weekends and overcoming the need to eat:chewing: eat :chewing:eat:chewing::dizzy:. i guess i think i can do what he does, and well, i cant!!!!!!:caution::up_arrow: I just gotta stay on track, maybe i can talk to him. What would I say?
he is supportive and he questions me when he sees me going for stuff i usually avoid.....but i am always defensive or i have this excuse as to what i can do or how to get away with it so he steps back and doesnt say a word for a while....At least NOT UNTIL I BRING IT UP!! i can use his strong stern voice telling me no when he sees me!:shock::pig::apple: So yeah, i guess i give him #%@&! when he tries to help me.....i need not to do that, its not fair. if i wanna do this, i need his support and pushes when i get weak. I shouldnt yell at him for my indescretions. I told him we are working on moderation of all the things we enjoy....but i need to work on eating only when i am hungry. NOT JUST TO EAT.

Dad is calling, i just saw the house phone light up. Good thing for caller ID. Hmm, it went to the machine....should i listen to it and set myself off again???? i have had a good day food wise.

For my dinner, I have a hamburger browned with veggies (either salad and avocado slices or green beans) planned since D is having his soup. I hope he likes it, its kinda like corn beef and cabbage...ONLY NOT!!!! I love the CB&C but not the ham, i guess i am just not that into ham anymore....hmm, another change. That and salt. Aside from eggs of any type and to season, salt has taken a step out of my life. I cant take certain things now, and I say something...D brought it up. He said that its not that salty, you just dont eat salt now...its your taste buds changing....

HMMM CHANGING.....that is a fun thought...

Have lovely evenings and relax! enjoy watching the inaugural balls!!! its history happening! :)

Well, I can say that I resisted the cereal, but I am not a big fan of cereals. I not much for anything sweet in the mornings. So, never got hooked on the stuff.

I do force down cheerios every so often.

Anyway, hoping I can stick to the plan this weekend. I have allot on my plate right now. So, it's easy to vent and pig out. Got to stay in control.

Boy do i know how you feel! We gotta keep each other strong! I dont like cereal that much either, i stayed away the entire time i was doing atkins....but sometimes, i go thru spurts of things i want.....apparently cereal has come back to the front of the line...but its not that good when i eat it, i am just eating to cover the upset. You know to talk to D about it is pushing it all into the grave that should have been closed and done long ago.....but i have to release it somehow...just not sure where....or how....so i eat cuz its what i know how to do and i do it well. :( Viscious cycle.

Ok, well here we go again. Hope everyone has got a plan and is ready for this challenge.

I plan on spending the weekend getting some stuff done, that I didn't get done this week and exercise. The exercise might be difficult cause I managed to pull a muscle. So, it will be light today and then try to get back to normal over this weekend.

Eating probably won't be the best tonight. I am going to try and take the hubby out tonight. But, after that, I will behave and get back to eating normal healthy foods tomorrow.

So, that's not much of a plan, but it's a plan I guess. So, good luck everyone....

It sounds to me like you do have a plan, keeping busy is a great way to control food, you not only don't have time to eat but you are burning calories too .

We eat at restaurants a lot and that is a huge challenge because the portions are ridiculous. Sometimes I order from the kids menu, most places are fine with that. I do find a lot of times the kids menu only have things like mac and cheese and pizza but more and more they are putting a broiled chicken or salmon option on the kids menu, if they have one I go for that. If not I ask for a to go plate WITH MY MEAL and before I eat a bite I put half of everything except the veggies in the take out plate so I won't be tempted. If what I choose was really bad then I "forget" my take out plate at the restaurant so I won't be tempted later. Anyway maybe this will help you at the restaurant.

right now i need to run to the store, i didnt get milk last time and now we need more. D is on a toaster streudel kick so i am gonna get some of those too. i have 50 to spend. I know i need things, but i am not sure what at the moment, distracted. in a mood today, kinda feeling grrrrrrish..you know ?

maybe i need to go back to bed and start all over again? wait..i cant do that!

d listened to the message that mom left, asked me when and if i felt ready to see them again?

JUST THINKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME WANT TO DIVE INTO THE CHOCOLATE PRETZELS.

I guess i am not ready? LOL:grin:

So my weekend is kinda starting. I am pleased to come in at 182 today. Something is going right for me. THANK GOD. I will get some workout done today, I am thinking of jogging in place for 10 minute spurts thru the day, see how that goes. Shake things up some. Meals, I cant even say cuz i am not ready to think that far ahead. Having money makes me wanna go out as Cindy is gonna do, but D said Sunday nite we may go out. that means the Cooperage, for his prime rib...and when we go there, the food i choose is always so salty...so i dont know what i would get there, and with baby too...well, we will see. Maybe crab, if i choose to splurge. But we arent rich, this money is not to keep or play, we have things to do with it. I dont know. We will see how it plays out. Right now, I dont wnat to spend a penny. I just want one day of calm.

Here is to a good weekend friends!:apple::dog::horse::duck::monkey::heart::thumbsup:

I was pretty good this week but not good enough. I am only down 1lb

I posted this in the other challenge but I'll post it again here. I weighed in for my work challenge today and their scale said 164lbs. My scale this morning said 161.8lbs. Which is quite a difference however a week and a half ago the work scale said 165 and mine said 162 so I did manage to lose 1lb either way but for now I am going to only take my weight on the work scale (at least until the work challenge is over)

I am going out to eat tonight but I have only had 580 calories so far today so if I don't go overboard at supper time I should be fine.

I am then going to a party tomorrow night and I know there will be TONS of goodies so I need to try and stay in control there too. It will be a challenging weekend but I can do it

got some good things at the store, good sales, so i am happy. still dont know about dinner tonite, but who cares right now, its hours away! I just want to NOT think about food for an hour, watch my CSI from last nite if I can. I will think about dinner around 4pm.

I took M to the river after we went shopping for a little jog. She loves to run, she is like Forrest Gump. If she has somewhere to go she is usually running! So I jogged with her and we did that for 15 minutes. I didnt want us to get too far away since we were out alone on the river, which is all open space, not alot of houses. It felt good, the weather is lovely today, we didnt even wear coats! I didnt get tired, but my heart rate was up, they had stairs there too so i ran up and down those 4 times with her.

Not a bad way to kick off the pre weekend for me. I feel balanced today. Calmer somehow. Helps too that D's sister had some wonderful insite to why what happened between M and D last nite did. Made me understand more.

Have a great weekend everyone! Work hard! Eat Well! Have fun enjoying new foods! :chewing:

OK ITS MY KICKOFF TODAY FOR A HEALTHY WEALTHY WEEKEND! I KNOW I HAVE TO PLAN ON EATING OUT SUNDAY, AS WE ARE GOING TO ABQ FOR D TO FIND SOME NEW SNEAKERS AND THEN WE ARE PLANNING TO GET A SURROUND SOUND FOR THE LIVING ROOM. HE BUDGETED HIMSELF THE MONEY OUT OF HIS BLAZER SALE, SO ITS OK WITH ME. WE HAVE PLENTY TO SPREAD AROUND NOW. I DIDNT DO HORRIBLE LAST NITE, I MADE EGGS AND SAUSAGE, ATE 2 SAUSAGE LINKS 1 1/2 OVER MEDIUM EGGS, 1 BISQUIT WITH A CUP OF MILK AND HALF BANANA AND PEAR. I SNACKED AFTER THOUGH, I ENDED UP HAVING A SLICE OF PEANUT BUTTER BREAD! I SEEM TO BE ON A PEANUT BUTTER KICK, AND YEAH I GOT SOME MORE YESTERDAY. TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE PEANUT BUTTER SALMONELLA SCARE!:shock: HOPE MY PEANUTS ARE OK!

I PLAN TO EXERCISE TODAY, BUT IT MAY RAIN SO WHATEVER I DO WILL BE INDOORS. OTHER THAN THAT, I AM JUST MELLOW, KINDA TIRED BUT UP SO CANT LAY DOWN WHILE M IS STILL SLEEPING. OH WELL, JUST QUIET TIME. I HAVE TO MAKE ALOT OF EFFORT TO BEHAVE ON WEEKENDS WHEN D IS HERE. JUST BECAUSE HE EATS DOESNT MEAN I HAVE TO EAT TOO....ONLY EAT WHEN I AM HUNGRY.

UGH, MY FINGERS ARE PUFFED UP, MY RINGS ARE TITE, I CAN ALREADY TELL THE WEIGH IN WILL NOT BE GOOD.
OK, I JUST LOOKED AT MY CALENDAR, I AM MAKING PATTERNS IN THE WEIGH INS! FRIDAY HAS BEEN GOOD FOR 3 WEEKS, THEN SATURDAY ITS A 2 OR 3 PD INCREASE! I LOSE IT AT THAT POINT...SO TODAY, I AM GOIN THRU THE SAME MOTIONS...JUMPED UP 3 PDS TODAY WHICH I AM CONFIDENT IS SALT AND WATER FROM LAST NITES DINNER.:dizzy::dizzy:

OK....INSTEAD OF DERAILING TODAY I AM GOING TO DRINK A LOT OF WATER, AND EAT NOTHING BUT VEGGIES AND FRUIT. I CAN SNACK ON CARROTS AND BELL PEPPERS AND ORANGES ALL DAY. I MAY HAVE A HARD BOILED EGG, BUT NO BREAD, NO FATTY MEAT, NO SALTY THINGS.

DARN IT. I CANT LET THIS CYCLE CONTINUE!!! HELP HELP HELP!:apple::apple::apple:

The weekend is going good today, I did have a slightly higher calorie intake yesterday than usual, but the day before had been really low due to only snacking instead of having a real lunch.  It came out to just a little more than 1600 cals.

Today I have a formal affair to go to.  I have to wear a floor length skirt and heels.  I'm nervous and excited.  I look way better but I still have pretty far to go.  I feel like I need to make a pretty impression, I'm tired of feeling like the ugly (not to mention fat)  duckling.  I want to blow the other wives out of the water!

OUATGIRL....YOU LOOK GREAT NOW, GO AND HAVE A WONDERFUL EVENING! HOW EXCITING A FORMAL AFFAIR.......! ENJOY YOURSELF AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND LUCKIEST WIFE AT THE PARTY!

:grin::rose::thumbsup::moon:

AS FOR ME, I DID THE BOWFLEX AFTER NOT DOING IT IN ALMOST TWO WEEKS! WOW! I CHANGED UP THE WORKOUT, ENDED WITH ABOUT 40 MINUTES. THAT IS FINE FOR ME, ITS SATURDAY. I HAVENT EATEN MUCH, JUST A BANANA AND 64 OZ OF WATER. I HAVE A PLATE FULL OF PEPPERS, ORANGE, PINAPPLE AND SOME CARROT WITH 2 TBSP OF DRESSING TO DIP...BUT I AM NOT READY TO EAT JUST YET...RUNNING AROUND GETTING M DOWN FOR HER NAP AND CLEANING UP THE KITCHEN AFTER HER LUNCH. IT WILL BE THERE WHEN I CAN SIT AND FOCUS.

NOT SURE ABOUT THE REST OF THE DAY OR THE WEEKEND YET. HUBBY ASKED ME WHAT WE HAVE ON THE BOOKS FOR TONITE? AS IF WE HAVE MUCH PLANNED, WE HAVE THE BABY GIRL AND NO BABYSITTER, SO ITS DINNER AT HOME AND A MOVIE...OUR ROUTINE, WE ARE BORING HUH?! WE TEASE AND CALL OURSELVES HERMITS SINCE WE DONT GO OUT MUCH, DONT CARE TO GO OUT MUCH. OH WELL, ONE DAY WE WILL HAVE THE TIME, THE MONEY AND THE BABYSITTER AND WE WILL GO OUT! :)

HAVE A GREAT NITE EVERYONE!

Friday afternoon I went out to a Chinese buffet.  I usually don't eat too badly at those places though considering.  The buffet I went to has sushi so I ate a plate of those.  I didn't have any more rice because of that and then had a big plate of vegetables.  Some brocolli, carrots, mushrooms, onions, green and red bell peppers.  I also had some shrimp and a piece of chicken from the house special.  One crab rangoon (I love those things), a bowl of broth with one wonton in it and green onions and a little chocolate coffee cake thingy for dessert.  I'm trying to remember if I ate anything else.  I think I had like a tiny serving of noodles but not enough to make any different really...oh and I had a breaded scallop.  That's it...probably not worth my $6. lol  I've been good since then.  :apple:

Well, the last two days have not been good. So, trying to turn it around today. I need to watch what I am eating and not be pigging out on stuff I shouldn't.

Yesterday, I had a bunch of brownies.:chewing: I sure didn't need thoses. :dizzy:

On friday it was the pizza. But, I did pretty good at not pigging out on it. I just had one piece and two breadsticks.

So, today needs to be a good day.
