Morning everyone,

Today's weight is 194 lbs.  Another pound bites the dust.  4 to go for the goal of 100 lbs!

DG and I are neck and neck and will cross the line together!

Nir, hope you're feeling better.

Bert

This morning I weighed in at 144!

I hope I'm doing well. I'm eating more calories than usual, but I think it should be okay with all the extra activity I'm doing.

Lots of love to everyone and great job!

Hisgal, MidgeH, CrimsonAnimus, and christyandmuddy are doing amazing! Good job!

Everyone else is also doing FANTASTIC!

I was hoping for more but...:down_arrow: 1.1 lbs, currently at 162.1. Hopefully this week wil be a little better. my goal is 1.5 lbs a week.

Can anyone tell me how to get my weight loss ticker on here? I have done it once along time ago but apparantly I've forgotten. I copy the HTML then what?

Nir, thanks for doing this challenge, I know it is really helping me stay on track.

Hiker, I use Photobucket to do this.

You can create an account for free there, and upload the image. Then, copy the direct link of the image.

In your post here, click the Image Button (3 circles in a square), and past the link into the box.

Your image will show up here as long as the link remains active.

Hi Everyone,

It looks like you are all doing great on the challenge.  My challenge has been the fact that we haven't had any power for over a week.  We had a big storm that knocked down a lot of trees and power poles.  From this I have learned that I am most definitely NOT a pioneer!!

Anyway I have a new weight to report.  262.  That is down 4 pounds since the start of the summer challenge and only 3 pounds to go for my goal.  Over 50 percent should put me in the yellow!

Onward ~~ Patchers

Actually Bert I was at my goal before the storm hit and the fact that we had to eat out or get fast food for over a week put me up to 262.  We ate out more in the past week than in over 2 years.  I have avoided any kind of fast food since I started this quest on New Years but we just had no options here.

Congrats to you.  Have you made the 100 pounds yet?

ok... reporting in at 124lbs...

That is great for me, cause lately everytime I weigh its around 126lbs. My average is at 125lbs right now. Hoping with a couple more good weigh ins, my average will drop back down to 124lbs.

I know, I feel better after this morning and having a good weigh in always makes me kick it in high gear again. I wish I could be more consistence with that, then I would be done with this and ready to maintain.

Hi! I'm new here. I've lost just over 45lbs and am looking to lose those final pounds and trimming inches.

As of 7/20 my "stats" were:

Weight: 159lbs

Bust: 37 in

Waist: 33 in

Hips: 40.75 in

Thigh: 24.25 in (upper thigh - the thickest part)

7/30 Weight 157lbs

Goal Weight 145lbs

I will weigh in on Wednesdays and take measurements on August 3rd, August 17th, and August 31st. 12lbs is a bit over the 2lbs per week but not by much so I think its doable.

Thanks!!!!! So glad to be here

It's a possibility. He was born in Ohio as was I so he must be a decent guy :-) I actually live on the border in South Carolina and work in Charlotte so I won't be voting in that election but he has been mayor forever and i'm sure would do a good job.

Oooo but I forgot, he is a republican... nevermind. lol

Hi, I am a late joining but I will give anything a try.

cw:196

goal:184

My weight loss has been roughly 16 pounds a month though by eating right and I do workout 6 days a wk 1-2 hrs a day. I also should say I work with a personal trainer and DR and I'm doing great.

In an effort to break my unhealthy addiction with the scale, I will not be weighing again until August 30th! My mother is going to hide both of our scales and not reveal their location to me.

Today's weigh-in: 252 :up_arrow: 1 pound.

I went up to 256 earlier this week, a lot of which I believe was water retention. This is yet another reason why the scale is not the end all! It is a great indication of progress, but so are clothes, measurements, etc., which I will probably be using to gauge my progress over the next month.

Best of luck to us all!

Right on!  The scale doesn't tell the whole story.  Way to go and strength for all of us.

Welcome, MJ,

Sounds like you're doing fantastically well.  4 lbs a month is a lot but your working out a lot too so that should account for it.  Keep it up!

I feel great and I have muscles -who would have thought? LOL. I am working out a lot yes; and it feels great getting to the gym and just moving my body. I guess I should have discovered excerise years ago LOL. Oh I weigh in 1x a wk roughly.

Your right the scale doesn't tell all; I have lost over 8" in my hips and 6" in my waist alone! The arms haven't changed nor have my calfs but I can see changes in define muscle tone in those places.

Thanks for having me!

Wow, that is great. I couldn't go a whole month with out weighing myself. It would drive me crazy. I would probably starve since I didn't know where I was at.

I've said before that my current weight is non-sense, a temporary artificat of my operation, and this morning's higher weight confirms my suspision. But as I go by average weight I'm going to have to post this temporary dip. I can see a headache for myself - at some future challenge I will be expecting a small gain a a best-case senario. I don't think I'm losing or gaining fat. I'm at ideal body fat so all I experience are water-weight fluctuations (the most polite way of saying that the contents of my colon are the main variable)

Hello

Checking in - still at 121.5 - no loss but no gain either so I'm good with that.  Still working on upping the cardio - works well when I do it!  Been spending too much time working - need to go work out more often.  I'm having a tough time writing down everything I eat - I have a booklet right at my desk - somehow I just can't seem to stop and write things down.  When I see the chart on my computer I only see the purple highlighted ones - how do I open the chart to see all the names on the challenge?

Hi ChunchieA - did you try hitting the F5 key to refresh?  Sometimes that helps; it gives you the updated chart.

Hope that helped.

Time for my update today as well. I put in an order for a scale that I'm buying through the interwebs, so I'll have an mid-week update. In the meantime, I'm going to have to use a new method to track my weight progress.
Last week's weight: Not a lean-cut, peak-shape Adonis
This week's weight: Still not Adonis, but slightly not so much as last week

I didn't weigh last week because the results weren't anything to be pleased about, the same will probably be true for this week-- but I'm still here!  I'll post a weight by the end of teh week if I can hit a number that doesn't make me want to break my scale
