Hey Bert,
Congrats to you too! I am trying to get down to 120 and stay there! And I'm a fairly short and petite girl so I think that's a good weight for me. Thanks for the words of encouragement, it really does help!

You bet.  These forums are a big help.

You'll be there in no time.  I'm with you; maintenance is the tough part.  That's for life.

Nir,

I was just looking over the chart.  I think Midge and I should be in the orange and Celeste should be in red.  I don't mean to pick, as I'm sure it is a big enough job to update it all regularly.  Thanks again for hosting this challenge.  It's a great source of motivation.

Great Job!!!!!! :grin::grin::grin::grin:

Isn't that a great feeling?

Mine is 123lbs. I haven't seen it in awhile. I keep swinging up and down.

But, I will get there one way or another.

Keep up the great work...

Hey Caitlin, thats what I want to be 120lb or less and hold it there. I always thought I looked really good at around 117lbs. Of course that was when I was in my 20's, so not as easy now that I am close to 40yrs old.

Good Luck, maybe with this challenge we will both hit our goals.....

Good Luck to you also cport! And, yes, losing weight DOES get a lot harder as you age.  Although I am only 27, it is so much harder to diet than say, 10 yrs ago.  By the way, I am in Milwaukee!  Where is Muscoda?

I just realized that I am in the throwninitaway color.....aggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like that at all. I am not throwing it all away. I think I will start posting my average, cause I go up and down daily. And of course weigh in day, it's alway up.

Ok, I need to quit making excuses and do better....... :crying:

It's got to be hard to lose weight when there's not that much left to lose .  You're doing great just by maintaining.

I really would like to be 120lbs, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I never got to it. The only thing with my body that I don't like right now is my stomach. So, I have been trying to work on that.

I think that color's name should be changed to something more encouraging.

Confused ! I think you're looking at an old graphic? throwninitaway last posted a weight updated on July 9th and is not in the table until they post their weight again. Press F5 or CTRL+F5 until it refreshes. It should say "last updated July 23rd" on the top (or a more recent date)

119.1lb

:caution: I think this is not a true weight indication but related to last week's operation. By the way I came home from hospital yesterday afternoon

There is no change with my weight 160.5 lbs.  That's O.K., because I believe I lost fat and gained muscle.  My clothes fit better and I see more tone in my legs.

So I was in So. California last week for a conference/vacation and ate lots of great (but no great for you) things and sat in the car WAY too much.

I got back on Monday night and weighed myself Tuesday morning, although I usually only weigh myself on Friday, otherwise I would obssess about the scale. I weighed myself every morning since then, now I am going back to just Friday, but here are my surprising results -

Tues - 170.6, Wed - 169.0, Thurs - 167.6, and today

166.8 (my goal is 158). So I did go up, but only half a pound, in the end. Plus I am re-resolved to healthy-ness!

Hello

I am checking in for this week- I don't see my name on the current list so I must have been dropped off even though I have been checking in regularly?  So my weight is now at 121.5 -Yay! I really monitored my food intake and worked out every day except Tuesday - upping the Cardio seems to be working - hopefully I'll continue on this path and reach my goal weight.

But I'm not too disappointed because it hasn't been a whole week since I last reported in  I promise I'll try to wait until next Sunday instead of getting excited about a loss midweek.

I've added an extra column to the table, it shows your loss as a percentage of your initial weight.

CrimsonAnimus, 8.7% of your original weight is gone in 4 weeks - if you continue at this rate you'll disappear in a year
