Hey everyone!

Peter, sorry I didn't pop by to say I was dropping out, that was rude of me. It's been an insane couple of months and I really just couldn't bring myself to step on the scales let alone worry about trying to lose weight.

Embarassingly I've gained, but I'm not surprised with the amount of junk I've been resorting to while trying to get other things done. 128.8lb yesterday. If it's alright, I'd like to rejoin for the last couple of weeks to undo the damage listing 128.8lb as my starting weight. I believe I posted my original starting weight as 125.2lb, so I'd like to aim for that. 3.6lb is probably quite a lot for me in the time left but I'm going to give it a go!

Missed everyoneee. Love the colour coding by the way!

keep your head up, I have been doing the same thing lately. Things just keep on popping up for me and I just can't seem to stay away from the junk food.  It gets better....Kendra:dog:

I may have given up the faith too soon. I actually lost weight this week! AMAZING. 148 is the official number for today! So technically I hit my goal. It isn't my initial goal, but I was losing so slow!!! If I could get to 145 by the end it would be perfect. We'll see.

Hi Peter,

Thanks so much for the "Outstanding Character Award" category.  I soooo needed that, I am soooo discouraged.

Thanks for the encouragement!  It is greatly appreciated!!

At this present time....

You're most welcome! And I suspect that you are doing so much better than those who actually left the challenge, as I would have in years gone by.

I'm doing well now, but went through three tough times since I stared with these challenges in the fall. I never quit, and my weight's back down.

I just found this wonderful place today and am obviously too late for the challenge. I hope that you will do a fall version so that I may also join in the fun!

I forgot to post last week, even though I did weight myself, I am sorry!

This week my weight is 164.6.

Although I am probably not going to make my goal weight, at least I have cracked the 165 mark!

Does anyone else struggle with making good food choices amid all of the festivals and family gatherings of summer?!?!?!? It is as bad as the Holiday season for me!

I'm running out the door and don't have time to look for them, but there are at least a couple good newsletters on this topic. Click on the link above!

Good Morning

Checking in - still the same weight 123 - somehow I just don't see anything changing.  I am thinking of changing my evening dinner - generally I cook for my husband and I and I eat whatever I cook - usually healthy stuff and I do monitor portions but maybe I am not monitoring enough - so I've decided to try to eat those Weight Watchers or Lean Cuisine for dinner - I think I will try it for the last 10 days of this challenge to see if there are any changes.  Wish me luck! Will check in next week.

I have a question is Calories per Hour going away?  I received a LiveStrong email and somehow I thought it was taking the place of Calories per Hour - anyone have info on this???

Thanks

ChunchieA

My impression (or hope) is that Live Strong is just the host site for CPH and that they're just using their channels for marketing their own.  CPH must be here to stay!

Peter-

I know I signed up to do the challenge but I am knocking myself out right now.  With working 2 jobs(to help a friend out), baseball, and lots of others things it is the last thing for me to think of to weigh myself and remember to report in.  I'm hoping if there is a next challenge or two that things will have calmed down and not so much #%@&! is floating in my head and stress about it all will be down.

   thanks,                                                                                                                                 kakki :dizzy:

My weight today is exactly 130 lbs.

Yup, that's right folks - that's a weight gain once again. I'm not doing well and I haven't been focusing on my diet nearly enough. I've tried but I keep falling in the pit holes due to stress. I'm about to move to a new apt in a week which is a stress enough in itself with all the packing and moving arrangements. Then on top of that they are giving me extra shifts at work which means less time to do the packing. Sigh. I know I should stop making excuses. I know I'm at the bottom of the list here now, so this is probably my last weigh-in for a while. After I move and getting settled into my new place I want to do my darnest to muster up the energy to change again.

Slowly, slowly, like a snail :snail:!  I am now 138 lbs

I don't think I'll get to my goal weight because I haven't been counting calories, just eating quite sensibly.  It's too hot to work out so I've only been doing a bit of swimming and walking every day.

Weigh in today was 125lbs. I think that is down a pound from last weeks weigh in.

I am sure that this weekends eating has not showed on the scale yet. So, tomorrow will not be a happy day.

I will be happy to end this challenge at what I started out as. I really don't see me getting to my goal in a week. Would be nice since the challenge ends on my b-day.

Congratulations! Wonderful milestone!

Funny number for me. The most I ever weighed was 199. I guess that was my limit and I didn't want to cross it. Or it was just that when I weighed that much I couldn't stand it anymore and started dieting again. It was the top weight of my yo-yo dieting cycle.

Anyway, if I average the last few days I'm 167 so I just made my goal for the challenge, too.

Great job Bert! Hope you make to your goal.

Isn't it a great feeling! I smile every time I think of all the weight I have lost the last three years. It truly was the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Thanks, Cport!  I agree; what amazes me is that it took me so long to get my butt in gear.

Still managed to stay at 160lbs.  I'm terrified of putting anything on and losing my red color on the chart.  Still even if I do gain a pound or two I'm still lighter than when I started this challenge.

Well done Bert for your weight loss and well done everyone else for staying with it even if results are going the way you would like. :shooting_star:

I guess I haven't kept up with this.  Well, I was 104 lbs May 7, and my goal was 90 lbs by the end of June.  Now I am 94 lbs as of June 22.  I guess I have one more weigh in before the challenge is over.
