I was gone on a trip a week and did great in the sense that I used to always eat junk the whole trip. Down 1/2 pound to 170.

Well, I'm not off to a stellar start.  I hate excuses, but I had a wicked head cold/sinus thing this week. Which should have led to some weight loss, since I wasn't eating...but of course what I was eating was ice cream and stuff like that. So week one resulted in a one pound gain. But today's another day...

Current weight: 183 pounds

Congrats on the great successes this week, and for being here.

Oh, and Peter, do you still want us to keep posting our weight here until the end of the challenge, or stop now that we've reached it?

150 again... I thought I would have lost this week. I'm hoping I'm retaining a little water. I haven't been able to drink as much as I should and salty foods have crept in. Hopefully next week will be better!

I like the colors on the list!  Just two more pounds and I can be yellow.

This challenge has really helped keep me on track, like nothing else I've tried.  Thanks for hosting it and I hope there will be another one when this one ends.

Hello Everyone

Back from a work/vacation in DC - had a great time.  Didn't do so much working out - lots of walking though - but I am sure I ate more than enough so no loss.  I weighed in at 123 - so I am going up and not down !  Looking forward to getting back on track.

Hey everybody,

246.

Gained a pound this week, very frustrating as I did well on my eating...averaging 1650 cal/day and worked out 5/7 days.  I think my workouts are going to need to be a bit longer-have been getting in 30-45 minutes of elliptical but I'm very inconsistent with the strength training.  So this week I'm going for 45 minutes 6/7 days and 3 days of strength training. I don't think I can realistically eat fewer calories over the long run.  Gotta go for the lifestyle change I can maintain.

Down another pound to 268.  I was really happy to see that after being out of town this weekend.  When you are staying with someone else you don't get a whole lot of choice of what you eat.  The only choice you always have is how much you eat.  So I guess I did OK.  Change in routine always throws me somewhat.

I am 154.6lbs but it is about 2.5 hours later than I usually weigh myself and I haven't had breakfast yet so I think that is the only reason why I weigh less

Yes, to the 30th.

And while you do have to be losing to get a color, you could make it brighter by choosing a more realistic goal. I've only lost two pounds and I'm half way there!

Peter:monkey:

P.S.

Your goal actually was very realistic at a pound a week. But it's not any longer, and rule 29.b.3 allows everyone to adjust their goal weight once prior to the final two weeks.

I'm back from vacation, I was soooo reluctant to get on the scale this morning to give a number for the challenge, but I know I have to be honest with myself if I'm going to be able to pick myself up and move on.

I'm now 133 lbs, which almost right back to where I started from almost 3 months ago. Wow, that is a really painful realization because it makes me feel that my hard work was all for naught. At the same time, it was nice to feel free to undulge during my time off, but now I'm back with a vengeance to rid myself of this weight once and for all!

PS - I'm secretly hoping some of that weight is actually water weight, it's highly probable... we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning.

I'm a little confused. In the stats I show you last posted June 9, but I don't see that post. And the weight I show, 151.5, is what you posted June 2.

Anyway, I'll update it to 152 next update... unless you post again first.

You can weigh any day you like. Every day if you like.

Sorry for posting a day late only I couldn't get on line for some reason yesterday.

Anyway the good news is a loss of 2 lbs so my weight is 161lbs.  Just one to go

There are 20 days left of this challenge.  Is it too late to join?  20 days might be some good inspiration for me.

Also, where are the rules posted?  And how many of them are there?:grin::grin:  Ref 29.b.3  conveys that I might not be intelligent enough to abide by all of them.

I absolutely am in awe of your graph/list Peter.  Very impressive!  I spent a good 15 minutes just studying it.

If my joining is approved, my starting weight is 141.6 and my goal would be to lose 2 pounds, so my goal weight would be 139.6

142.8.

Yeah, I know. It doesn't really STAND OUT. Well, why would I want a gain of two pounds to stand out? If everyone misses it that'll be fine with me.

I guess I forgot to mention that I was teasing about the rules.  Your post made me laugh so I felt compelled to make a comment.

FireManJoe wants to join also, but since I don't know his starting weight, he can post when he gets home.

These challenges really are very motivating.  I wish I had felt well enough to join at the beginning.  Thanks for adding me in!

:tongue::tongue::tongue: You gotta love rule 29.b.3!!!!!:tongue::tongue::tongue:

Yeah, my goal was VERY realistic when I joined and I 'was' losing nicely...until that 2 week nose dive :pizza::pizza::pizza::pizza:.

Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to adjust my goal weight (per rule 29.b.3)...but I'll decline and just pray I'll make a color anyway (or even my starting weight).  Maybe put me in black?
