Hey I'm going the wrong way!

274 today

Onward ~~ Patchers

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Excuse the intrusion Patchers, but I wanted to post the stats at the top of every page.

Oh, and "onward"? How about downward! Haha.

Well,
I hopped on the scale this morning. 152. I'm sure what I've lost is just water, but it feels good to see that scale dropping anyway.

Hi Everyone!  I just joined your forum and hope you don't mind me jumping in on this challenge.  The scale said 207 this morning.   I'm striving for an 11 pound loss by June 30th. That will put me at 14 Stone even.  It might be hard, since I'm coming in late, but I'm going to try.

This past month or so, I've started cutting out all processed foods, (it's been hard as I'm a fast food junky,) and upping my fruit and veg intake.

I look forward to getting to know you all and losing together!!

Well, on yesterday's weigh in I was 139.2.

But that weight came in after GRADUATION NIGHT! And after graduating that night we had a lock in at the school, with free food all night long...

So I had had three slices of pizza, two cookies, a mini coffee, a candy bar, two diet mountain dews, and, at 5 in the morning, a doughnut and a biscuit from Hardees.

So I weighed again this morning, and I was back down to 137.2 MUCH more reasonable. So
i shall go with a Wednesday weigh in this week.

Keep it up everyone!!!!!!!

That might be slowly does it but its better than staying still or putting it on - both of which I've done recently.  At least this week I've managed a 0.5lb loss.

Anyway well done Katie for a loss.

Oh my weigh in weight this week is 167lb.

Thanks ribble.  I know how it is.  Until a couple of weeks ago, when my weight FINALLY began to inch down again, I had been on a two or three-month plateau.  :dizzy:  Well done on your weight loss.  After all, it's a question of determination.  We musn't throw in the towel because changing our life style and food choices isn't something done overnight.

Please put me back in!!! I dropped out for a couple of weeks due to computer and other problems - put on weight as well: booze, cheese and comfort food, but I'd like to keep trying. Will post weight on Monday, hope to lose again some of the weight I put back on! Up at 138.9 right now!

Right!

I'm finally below my starting weight -- if only by .5 lb -- so I'm updating the stats! That was a roller coaster ride after taking a week off (in a big way) and having my weight jump up (mostly water) six pounds!

Welcome back chinkiri!

Back on track,

Tis okay slimwish!! I have bee eating poorly as well. We are camping this weekend, and there is tons of snack food, and I think being outside makes you feel twice as munchie...

..I think what we have to remember is this is just a small small goal. We just have to work hard for a little while, and then GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL. Then we will set new goals. But for me I just have to remember, all I'm trying to do right now is 134, not 125. I can manage 134, right?

So can you!!

246.5

Down half a pound from last week...was hoping for more but on the other hand, I feel like I'm eating and exercising in a way that will be sustainable for the long haul.  I'm taking in about 1600-1800 calories a day and I got some exercise 6 out of 7 days.  The thing I think I could do better is to not have so many calories in the evening-I'm averaging half of my daily calories between 5-7pm!  I'm adding weights this week too.

Have a good weekend!

129 lb, 3 lb gain.

Can't believe I haven't even lost a single pound for this challenge yet but it's my own fault. I guess I won't be meeting my goal weight in time for my vacation, just I'll just have to pick up where I left off when I get back again - I highly doubt I'm going to have the will-power to eat healthy during that time. AHhhh well.

Eating clean and working out harder is paying off

weigh in 196.3

It's great to have this challenge, it requires introspection and inspection of what went right or wrong in the week prior to weigh in. More than once this week I knew I could not get to my goal without some sacrifice. Thanks for the invisible kick in the pants, when there was cookies or donuts around the office. My focus this week is to get enough protein. I've upped the weights in my workout, so I feel every muscle fiber in my arms and legs. After abs tomorrow I may not be able to walk  I'm trying to go to bed each night visualizing my muscles....burning fat cells!!!!

Today's weigh-in: 304

I have no idea why my weight loss was higher last week. My diet hasn't changed - but I did shift my exercise routine. I've also eaten enough vegetables to feed Peter Cottontail and his family. :P

I am still at 128. However, in addition to the cardio I was doing before, I'm now biking to work, I've started lifting weights and I'm doing yoga and pilates. Now all I have to do is work on avoiding all the cakes and pastries that I work with--easier said than done!

OK Peter you said downward not onward so how does going from 274 last week to 270 this week sound?  My body is being an absolute yoyo though.  One week up , next week down.  I'm getting kind of seasick!!  I guess as long as the ultimate result is permanent safe weight loss I'm along for the ride!   1 more to go until my challenge goal.  woohoo!

I'm reporting my first loss in this challenge, albeit only 1/2 pound. But not bad since I'd gained 6 (mostly water)!

170.5 and I still expect to meet my goal of only a 4 pound loss.

I'm SO happy, and I feel great! I hope everyone is doing well, and not getting discouraged. :apple:

Meteorites49, You said you're doing yoga and palates now. Does it help? I'm planing on starting this summer and I have absolutely no idea about it. Is yoga more a relaxation, or is it more of an actual workout?

Well, my average today is 125lbs. Which is a gain for me. I am done with graduation and have way to many left overs, plus I caught a cold. So, this next week for me is not looking very good.

I hope I get to feeling better so I can get back on track.

I don't really work up much of a sweat doing yoga, but I can definitely tell a difference in the strength of my arms, legs and core. Not to mention it improves flexibility a ton. Pilates is a little more of a workout, but more focused on the abdominals.

Here's my weigh-in for the week:  131 lbs

I'm very happy with that considering I've been travelling since Friday with no access to a scale or healthy foods.

Why is it that my mom thinks if I don't finish everything on my plate at a restaurant that I'm not eating enough?  I can't count how many times I heard her say that this weekend!
