my weight has gone up. I am at 197. Thanks Peter for the words of encouragement.
I have lost a very close friend about a week and a half ago, and this week we lost my brother-in-law. I seem to be spending my time making final arrangements and not exercising and eating junk food instead of dinner. Things will get better soon.

Hang in there. I'm sorry for your losses.
I'm sure at least that you're eating less than you could be. Food is comforting... that's what brings most of us to this forum.

I want to join! Here is my posting for the chart 128lbs on March 28th. and my goal weight is 120lbs.
I have always kind of had a drinking problem. I recently decided to cut back. I was getting out of control with my drinking around st. patricks day. I did have a few beers with my husband the other day, and at that point decided to go a week or two without any alcohol. Whenever, I give up one bad habit I automatically pick up another. So, I don't want to start eating allot since I am not drinking. That's why I am starting this challenge. I want to get to my goal weight without using any crutches.

This morning's weigh in 164.
I can't take credit for this one, though folks! I was sick all week, and am probably dehydrated. All things considered I would rather lose the weight through hard honest work than through the flu!

I am very sorry for your losses, this must be a very hard time for you.
I work in the mental health field and would like to say that there are times that behavior change is not practical. Let yourself grieve and make emotional adjustments before worrying about losing weight, there will come a time when your life will be a closer to normal and you can "get back to work" again.

HAPPY WEEKEND to all! Spring is here already but the weather can't make up its mind! Our contest is coming to an end :( so i hope everyone is giving it their best shot! Walking in the afternoon is now almost 100% Not sure it is he;ing with the weight loss but it sure does make me feel better!

Margot! I just read about your sadness! You are right, things will get better. I lost my mom and aunt and 2 uncles within a 2 year period! to enfluenzema..(spelling)

Back from my business trip - ate too much - worked out too little. Still at my same weight 122 - I know I will be back on track starting today. These last 5 pounds are so tough to drop. But I am glad to have this group to keep me on track -

I'm bummed...back up to 155 . Had a rough week---my back went out and I've not been exercising...now I'm on day 3 of a migrane. Not feeling good enough to fix all the right foods and workout...
But its a new week, right?

No weight change, alas, still the same as last week, 137.8 lbs - hit a plateau! 5 more weeks to lose 2 1/2 kgs, 1/2 kg a week, 1.1 lbs - should be do-able. I'll keep going!

Stuck at 129.2lb
Not sure what's going on really, I've been pretty much spot on with my calories and I've been exercising regularly. I was 128lb yesterday, although the Physics Diet chart is some comfort and still shows that I'm losing. Sigh. The scale sprites really don't like me this time round 
My body definitely feels more toned. I should invest in some calipers to get a more accurate picture of what's going on.

hello friends! I stayed the same! I had 2 many celebrations and I am not done yet! Actually it is the start of everyone's birthday in my family! we have them in spring and summer only! 2 more during April :) talk soon

havn't checked in for a while. actually used the scale for the first time in ages today.
i'm at 118... but it has been low carb for the past three days, so i am not sure how accurate that is. oh well, works for me.

Good morning,
I gained ~ as expected. I had my Easter dinner with the kids and grandkids this Saturday since I was very sick Easter weekend. I was dehydrated and unable to eat until Tuesday. I enjoyed being able to eat and drink again. Now I've got my grandson's sore throat! What a spring.
So, with that said. I am still not up to par. I am not exercising and I haven't gotten back to my food journal. I am being gentle with myself though. I could obsess and beat myself up but this is part of the journey for me. Distractions happens but I will get to where I want to be all in good time.
You may wonder why I am rambling on. It is important I am honest, that keeps me real so I record real results.
Today's weight: 149

No change this time. We moved to a new place last week and kind of lost control for a bit, but I am back on track now. No more restaurants for me! Wish me luck!

Still at 141...
Its a little disappointing that i have no loss. I ran in Chicago's Shamrock Shuffel yesterday. I htink i did pretty good for my first race. Its an 8K run and my clock time was 55.24 so an average of 11 min miles. My legs are pretty sore today but Im hoping to get back into my workout on tuesday.
Hope everyone is doing good with their workouts.
OH yeah...My big goal is to be at 139 by my 21 birthday! Its April 15 so I have a couple weeks to get there

New to the site but I love a good challenge when I see one. I started working out on March 10th so I'll do my best to catch up with the rest of you. On March 10th I weighed 236lbs and my goal weight for May 5th is 205lbs. I weighed myself today 3-31-08 at 225lbs.
start:236lbs
week2: 234
week3: 230
week4: 225
