Hi everyone,

Sorry I'm late.  I was out of town.

Still 216; 0 lbs lost:sad:

I'm not surprised though.  Actually, between the bourbon and the chips, the Dairy Queen and the garlic bread and Pizza, I'm happy I stayed the same.  That's what happens when you go away for the weekend.  That's real life though and I have to get used to it.  As long as the trend is still down and I can maintain when I get to my goal, I should be in good shape.

Have a great week!!

Bert

For going out of town and eating what it's listed. I'd say staying the same is very darn good.

Geeze Louise!

I've been stuck at 178 for days and days which has been fine because I was concerned I was losing too fast. Then my body fat percentage went up a point.

This morning it's down two, and my weight is only 175.5, down 2.5 pounds from yesterday!

Just shows how your weight can fluctuate day to day, and not to get too excited about it. For the week I'll stick with my Monday weigh-in of 178.

Just thought it might be fun to post these all together. If you want a ticker, click on the Help link for instructions and then post it in a reply. I'll pick it up and add it to the parade.

It's just for fun, and not necessary for the challenge. If I missed yours, please send me a PM!

Also I see people making new tickers each week. Just click on your old one, and you can update it!

Hi all,

I'm afraid I am going to have to drop out of the challenge.  An extremely stressful situation has popped up here and having to keep track of something extra like this challenge is just not possible right now.  I am going to do everything in my power to not put back on a single pound of the 46 I've already lost but losing any more is going to be on hold for a while.

When all is resolved I'll check back in for new challenges.

Hiya, I'm posting a little early as my weigh in is a Friday and I don't have access to the net at home all the time. Sorry to be a pest.

Weigh in the week is 249lbs.

I will try to update again on Monday and am thinking about switching my weigh in to Mondays as well. Will keep you posted.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement to get back on track.  The last two weeks I have finally blasted through my plateau by counting calories and increasing my workout at the gym.  I have been on a six month weight plateau.  It hasn't been all bad the last six months, because I am much smaller inches wise.  The last six months I really concentrated on building muscle and getting more limber.  Thanks again everyone.  Keep up the good work!  Love the support.

Starting Weight:  216

Starting Weight of this challenge:  185

Current Weight:  176.5

Okay.  So I have been rather daring and posted a "before" picture from last summer.  If this doesn't drive me off this plateau, well then I'll have to cycle double.  My goal is to obtain an "after" bikini photo of slightly less statuesque proportions.  Did someone mention before and after photos in an earlier posting as a way to motivate ourselves?

I'm going to report now because I afraid I won't get back here before Monday am. 0 lbs lost for me this week and for this challenge.  The problem is that I got a  full time job two weeks ago. I was a stay at home mom for 7 years!!  I'm really struggling with the  different eat times and exercise times. Hopefully, I'll show some  loss before the challenge is over.

Oops. I told myself I wasn't going to do another challenge, and I guess I changed my mind at one time. LOL!

Okay, last week I got down to 222.5 pounds. I'll keep updating on Mondays. I think tomorrow isn't going to be very low though.

The same weight as last week - 126.  Not even one pound less!  I haven't been eating very well, but it's disconcerting to realize that I was glad to see last week's number again.    I need to do better this week.

225 today. I meant to have one cheat meal, ended up having several.

I quit smoking last week so I'd rather be a non-smoker than weighing less. I'm doing a lot more walking too. Lately I've had to tape up my toes with medical tape to prevent them from blistering any more than they already do. So far it's working.

Next week I should report a weight loss.

UGH.......stayed the same for this week  172

I nibbled too much throughout the week and I just can't get away with that.

I vow to do better this week. Maybe I can lose 4 lbs if I am really really careful and increase my excersice and lower my fat intake, and carbs while sticking to the 1200 calories.

Last week I  increase my walking to 3.25 miles per day but I find that if I don't cut the calories  fat and carbs nothing happens.

I find that when I am cheating the week flies by and the weigh in comes too fast and when I am seriously dieting the week goes by sooo slowly.

Same as last week....I am getting even slower than a turtle at this weight loss thing.

Am happy though as long as I don't gain.

129.2lb

0.4lb loss this week. At one point this week I was at 128.8lb, but I guess not losing much is down to starting doing weights again as my calories were good. Fingers crossed for next week.
