Spring Fling Ticker Parade
Just thought it might be fun to post these all together. If you want a ticker, click on the Help link for instructions and then post it in a reply. I'll pick it up and add it to the parade.
It's just for fun, and not necessary for the challenge. If I missed yours, please send me a PM!
Also I see people making new tickers each week. Just click on your old one, and you can update it!

| I was just wondering how everyone is doing so far this week with the Spring challenge. I've been trying to be consistent with my exercise. My body is aching, but I'm hanging in there. The fact that summer is right around the corner has been a motivator to get off my butt and work out.

The fact that we've had a couple of really nice days has made it even better.

Christie,
I'm doing OK this week so far. I've had to work out hard too as I'm going out of town on Friday and won't be back until Sunday afternoon. I won't be able to work out as I usually do. I'm hoping to get in a brisk walk and I can do some exercises such as push ups, etc. but I'm not going to be in my ususal routine. My legs and shoulders are a bit sore but it's a good soreness. Now all I have to do is try and watch what I eat. I'm visiting an old buddy so I know it's going to be tough.
Be strong and I'll be strong!! One day at a time.
Everyone, I read an article in Psycology Today and I think it speaks to a lot of the frustrations we have regarding our weight and the struggles to lose it. Check it out. I'd like to get your impressions.

Monkey,
I hear you...down just 1 lb. myself. I just keep telling myself that at least I am going down. I talked in my journal yesterday about how hard it is to stay patient. I really want the end result faster, but then the odds are I won't keep it off. Know that doesn't make you feel much better, but at least you are not alone ....Coach K

That is my problem. I want to wake up tomorrow and be 105 pounds and be able to eat whatever I want, but that's not happening.
I have been really good this week, I've been walking everyday this week so far and I am starting to really enjoy it! I want to weigh myself now to see if I lost, but I think that will set me up for failure so I am going to wait until Sunday.

I know I'm early posting but as I'm going away until Wednesday, I thought I'd post now.
My weight is 173 lbs - same as last week but at least its not a gain . Now for two weeks rest and time to eat properly and take more exercise etc.

Hiya, I'm early too and I missed last week because my internet was down. However I have remained the same anyway.
Have a good weekend all!

I am a little early, but Fridays are easier for me to remember that I have to do a weigh in.
Starting weight - 170.0
Goal weight - 160.0
Current weight - 169.2
I knew last week was not a reason to give up!

| I'd like to join this challenge. My current weight is 135 I'd like to get to 120. I'd to lose as much as I can to get to my goal weight by the end of this challenge.

OK, I want to join.
I have been struggling for months now. I have been faithful to my workouts at the gym. My weight has been consistant without big gains or losses. The last couple of weeks I did start to gain. But, I am back in control as of March 7th.
My starting weight March 7th - 185
My goal weight 167
Current weight March 15th - 179.5

OK-here's my 1st weigh in (I only weigh the 1st and 15th of each month so mine will always be a bit off from the rest of the group)
CHALLENGE START WEIGHT: 158.5
CURRENT WEIGHT: 156
LOST: 2.5
Now into a size 12.
I plan on starting to do the P90X videos. I'm not going to follow the plan exactly just use the videos as part of my exercise regime. Today I did Ken Po and Ab Ripper.

Hello
In for the weekly check-in - still at 122 pounds - I know it's that candy that I've been eating. I am doing well otherwise but need to eliminate the candy - that's my goal this week. Maybe I can drop another pound.

Two weeks of pretty poor food choices have equaled a half pound gain. I'd better get off this challenge; I'm going the wrong way! (LOL)

I am now at 123.5.
That is only a .5 pound loss from last week giving me a total loss of 1.5. I was very discourged last night because I had worked so hard during the week to eat healthy and go walking about 3 miles every day. I ate 2 huge pieces of fried chicken with a vat of sweet Iced tea. Oh oh, wish I didn't do that this morning, but too late.
This week I am trying my no carb thing, just for one week to see how much I can loose. I only eat things that have less than 5g of carbs sometimes 6g or 7g as long as it's not bread or anything. I tried this before and actually loose the weight, but then I start eating normal and A LOT and gain it all back. But at this point I am desperate, I'm not seeing any results! I am pairing that up with going to they gym hopefully at least 4 times this week.

My weight is the same, which is good because I was losing too fast.

Good morning ~ Happy St. Patty's day!
I lost one pound! I don't know why it takes so much effort to lose and when it takes very little effort to gain!

Has anyone heard of the rotation diet? What do you think of it? It is supposed to fool your metabolism so that it doesn't stop working. low calories for a few days and then higher and then lower.I am wondering if it might work. I wish I could get this weight off faster.

For your information... you don't need to make a new ticker every week. Just click on your old one and you can update it!
And it will automatically be updated in the Ticker Parade at the top of this page.

today's weight: 167
As far as tickers, I create a new one intentionally each time. That way when I look back at my old posts I can see where I was at that time - not my current weight. Gives me more of an appreciation of how far I have come.

| Well- The moment of truth. A one pound gain puts me at 155 this week, but considering I haven't been working out and I used spring break as an excuse to eat whatever I want- I honestly don't think that is too bad.
