| I'll be in bed well before 1:30 tonight. This is Day 5. It's getting easier.......either that or I'm just wearing down. The next time around I might try 1:00.....another baby step on the way to midnight.

| Oh boy..I have failed at meeting my challenge soooooooo badly (only met it one day in the last five) I should probably just wait until you start the next one and think more carefully how I lay it out (like get x number hours of sleep rather than going to be within 1/2 of getting home - cause that's just not happening in my world!) Darn.

I think my total is five days, including today: 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29. I hven't managed to get here to post every day, but I hve done it every day.
I have to admit that right now it is still more of an afterthought..."oops, its nine o'clock at night and I haven't had any water today" but I do drink a glass then, so, it's better than nothing.

hey guys! happy to see that so many of you are sticking to the challenge! that is so wicked cool to see!!
suenos- if you want, you can wait for the next one. i am almost 100% sure that i will be doing it again. well, at lesat you realized what actually does and doesn't fit into your world. personally, i need at least an hour to chill after work before even thinking about bed. i have to have that "i am no longer at work so now i must unwind in a very non-rushed way" time. but that's just me.
ok, i'm doing well too. some of my workouts aren't as long as i would like them to be and sometimes it sort of backfires. i'll think "hey, i already worked out today, 20 min is better than nothing, therefore i am off the hook of doing more today". yeah, this is not good. i am going to try to get out of that mode and into doing a full work out right away, but the challenge still stands at about 20 min. i will do all updating tomorrow after work (early night for me, and i have some other catching up to do). thanks for updating me, and keep it going guys!!! brilliant work!

Good Morning everyone.
Well, I hopped out of bed without stretching but I remembered and went back to bed and stretched. Since the point of this challenge is to make me stretch every AM, I am counting this as an unbroken stretch.
What do you all think ??
5 days toward a new habit.

I vote for you, inmyprime. You didn't forget all together, that's for sure. And it sounds like you matched the intent of your pledge.
Okay, I can't even remember what day I started... but I know I haven't missed any days yet. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to post my successful days or just my misses. Anyway, things are going GREAT! Not eating too early or too late is really helping me keep the junk food in line - because these were the times when I would rather mindlessly eat.
THANKS ZEN!

I second that InMyPrime But if I went back to bed I might not get up and have to do it another time.
Last nights workout 5min warm-up, 40 min @ 4.0, 15min cool-down. That's another check-mark, 9 in all.
Wishing everyone success!!

Last night around 2 am after I'd been in bed maybe 40 minutes, trying to fall asleep with my brand new puppy, I remembered my leg raises. I got up and did them!
I was so rushed in the morning I didn't see the note on my shower door. Guess it's not a habit yet.

I'm not letting 1 day get to me because after all, a habit isn't for for a couple week's.

I always give my body a day off each week and I think that should go for my back exercises, too. So I'm posting for today, when I did them, and tomorrow which will be a day off.

Didn't post last night, but got to bed earlier than my challenge time. I'm really feeling a lot better since I've been doing this......actually looking forward to shutting down the computer, turning off the TV (don't ask why they are BOTH on......guess I feel sorry for the power company?), and hitting the sack. This is Day 10.

Hi Luckyme, Thank you, yes, I do take topomax, but, the dr. wants to change that now, not sure what they want me to take for maintenance, and they started me this week on maxalt........it worked after about 2 hrs, but, at least it was better than 4 days worth. Today is day 13 I think. I keep loosing count, but, I haven't had a coke at night time in like forever, but, did have a coke zero tonight watching the superbowl............Hey the Giants won..........yeah!!!!! I don't like New England.

Soontobeme: I'm not familiar with the medications you're taking. I take Imitrex when I really need it, but I try not to take it very often. I thought that the info sheet from the pharmacy concerning heart-related side effects was scary, but the medicine did work for the headaches. The newer medications may be much better. I'm glad you found one that worked.
Oh oh, I see it's after l:00 am. That means I have about 25 minutes to be in bed. This is Day 11.

wow, i had a lot to catch up on, here and throughout the rest of the forums. this past week or two have been crazy. i can't wait to lay low this week.
so, i missed this morning. but this doesn't mean that i am giving up. see, what happened was that i went to a superbowl party, and upon leaving, i slipped on some ice and really smacked my head. hubs was worried that i had a concussion, but i didn't. it hurt like all holy he** though and i really could not bring myself to do much moving this morning, despite the four advil. but, i am looking at this as a good thing, as it has given me an "excuse" to skip out on regular long workouts later in the day. i know, i know, it's really no excuse, but i have been using it, and i can really tell in the way my body looks and feels right now. it also hasn't helped that these two weeks have been almost completely filled with social activity and i can't seem to stay in line when i am out.
so, back to my regular workouts for sure. going to try to pull them off in the morning, but it really seemed to work better if i just wait and do it later in the day. i have more energy for it, too.
but i would like to say that i am so happy so many of you are doing well!
Trimb- no, one day shouldn't stop you! you have been doing famously! Judy, it's great to see that kicking the soda habit has gone so well. i know how hard that is to do! luckyme- yeah, i good nights sleep can do wonders1 i was reading suenos diary and she was talking about how great she feels when she gets a full nights rest (and if you can see the effects in your electric bill, all the better! oh and i hope you are not getting sick, too. yuck). soontobeme- hey, if you lose count and don't really think about it anymore, it's starting to really become a habit. that's good news. peter- i suppose you can be let off the hook for a rest day . everyone else, keep plugging away and workingtowards the goal. almost there! (i will do total updating tomorrow, i still have to catch up on tons of other things....)

Yes, still hanging in there. 15 days and still counting. Over the weekend I debated with myself. Went to friends to watch the game, YEAH GIANTS! Will I use my one "off day today".... NAH. Did my treadmill in the afternoon before the game. Last night after battling Wally World for an hour or so I HAD to PUSH myself to get in there.

How is everyone doing? I'm still on target (minus my one, allowed cheat day earlier), but it's not getting easier as quickly as I had hoped. My habit of not eating too close to bedtime is not too hard now... but my habit of eating too early (ie 4am-5am) is still hard. Sometimes I feel so hungry when I wake up. I'm sticking with it though!!
