Good Morning & Happy New Year to All!
I am new here, but would love to be a part of this challenge.
My current weight: 227 lbs.
My goal: 212 ( a loss of 15 lbs.)

| Hi everyone, Happy New Year! Yesterday I weighed 66.5 kilos, but I danced so much that today I weigh 66 kilos (144 pounds). My knee hurts a bit though! My goal is to get down to 61 kilos (about 135 pounds). Good luck to me and everybody else too.

Weighed in at 135.4 this morning...same as the last challenge! *Sigh* So I gues my goal will be the same too:129.
Keep poting your beginning stats, and they will all be collaborated into a list sometime later in the week.

Okay, I'm going to see if I can stick to a New Year's Resolution for once. I'm actually visiting my parents and their scale isn't acurate, (either that or I lost 20 pounds sitting on my rear and eating Christmas cookies) so I'm going off of my last known weight of 180. I'm only 5' 7", so I need to get that down! My goal for the year is to get to 135-140 and keep it there! For the end of February, I'm looking at a loss of 12 pounds, making it 168 by the end of the challenge! I'm hoping with all of you pulling for me, I can still to my excercise and keep the calories cut back! (I am really good at making excuses!)

Good morning and Happy New Year to each and every one of you!
My weight this morning is 165 lb.
My goal is 155 in 2 months.
Total weight loss goal is to be down to 135-140 by mid-May for my son's high school graduation so I really need some motivation. Just reading the forum every day has really helped to know that I am not alone in this life-time battle!

Happy New Year! My starting weight is 167.2. My goal for the end of February is 155, about 1 1/2 pounds a week. My ultimate goal is to see what it feels like to weigh 135. To help get things started, I sent home many left-overs last night after my kids had some friends over. Their friends were thrilled to take home cookies and other bad snacks. We kept the raw veggies and the healthier stuff for us.
I spent a lot of time last night thinking about my "plan" since working out/exercising isn't a problem for me - it's just flat out eating too much and eating the wrong things too often. Then I remembered what I told my son four years ago when he left home to go to college (I was worried about all the over-indulgences college freshmen usually take part in - too much junk food, too much partying, etc). I told him I wanted him to have fun and enjoy his college experience so if he remembered these three words no matter what he was doing, he should be alright: "everything in moderation". As it turned out, he did just fine - he starts grad school in two weeks. Anyway - my point is - I need to remember those words - because I KNOW I cannot and will not forever give up sugar - but I CAN limit the amount if I can remind myself of those three little words.
So - my plan is this - eat healthy, eat smart, and occasionally give in to a treat - just not the whole box of cookies!!
Good luck everybody - I'm going to need all the support I can get!

Hi I am a new member. This morning I woke up thinking that I really need to motivate myself - I am like the poster prior who has no problem exercising, love it and rarely miss a workout but hasn't been willing to combine that with proper nutrition. This morning I decided it was time and then browsing through the internet I found this challenge so I want to be in too!
My starting weight is 178lbs.
My goal at Feb. 29th is 162 lbs
My ultimate goal is 140 lbs.

hello Angel! I think 42 pounds in 2 months is a bit much; but you did not say what you weigh! I think you would have to be over 400# to lose that much! maybe 20? I don't have much support either! actually none so I need support as well! If you want a little one on one email support email me. I care!

Hi Katie in Spain - Nev in Algarve here...
I think when you click on and paste in the code from TickerFactory, you need to ensure that you delete everything except the http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wQUTOuG/weight.png bit.
That's how I got it to display in this post...

I am really finding a hard time cutting back on the calories! It seems the harder I try, the sooner I blow it! Eliminating any food call me before the end of the day! Any suggestions? I need help quickly! :(

Will take measurements today as I would be happy with significant structural changes as I build more muscle and continue to burn fat. This may really be a challenge to reach my goal. Focus, focus, focus.
Okay off to do cardio....my least favorite day of the program

I guess I never posted my weight and my goals! I am 302# Yikes!; in the past 2 years I have come down 18# My goal is to lose 10# per month for a toal of 20#. That would put a smile on my face :)) So far today I have not done so well. I am still eating up christmas junque! But don't worry; I NEVER give up! but I need to make this happen!

So it begins. Beginning Weight: 207.5. Goal: 190.
Secondary Goal - Eat more and less !
Long Range Goal is to get back to my optimal and college weight of 165. That an run a marathon - Kansas City marathon in October baby!

OK!!! I'm all ready!! I weighed in this morning at 146lbs (That's 1lb lighter than three days ago!)-I would like to lose AT LEAST 10lbs by the end of Feb!! If I lose more then more power to me!! There's my goal...and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!!! MUAH!!!!!!

It's exciting to see so many people joining this challenge. I'll be joining a week late, when I return home. To be honest, I'm still enjoying the holidays with family and putting on a little more weight to lose when I join the challenge next Monday.

I'm in. You got me on the scale a week early but that's okay. Jan 1st my weight is 197 up eight pounds since before Christmas.

By the way, is 2008 a leap year? Or am I bats? Is the last day of the challenge the 28th or the 29th of February? Of course, the most important of these questions is the last one but I would be grateful for any input.

| Well here goes. I said I wanted to join up for the challenge and I always want my word to be true. And I will do it, however I'm starting out really depressed after stepping on the scale. I've been avoiding a scale for a long time as I figured why stress over a number, I know I'm fat. But you wanted a number so here it is, 194 pounds. My God, I can say that is the heaviest I've ever been in my life. I'd like to lose 15-20 pounds by the end of February.

Hi, hope everyone had a great new Years and is looking forward to what 2008 is going to bring (weight loss hopfully).
I'm weighing in today at 155lbs and by the end of febuary my aim is to lose between 15-20lbs (lets say 17.5) I'd like to be well into the 130's.

Starting Weigh-In is 173.8...
My Goal for this Challenge is to lose 16 pounds.... this will put me @ 157
My Ultimate Goal is 130... so i will look forward to keeping these Challenges going until it has been reached ...

I already blew my first day. I know it's because I was home all day, not much going on. So what did I do? Turned to food.

Angel... When faced with a day at home, plan to walk/ stretch/ clean or something besides eat anytime you get bored. Before you eat, drink water since it will fill you up and keep you from eating a lot. Boredom always gets me too, I have been sleeping way too much with all the time off but that is better than eating.

Angel, do you have a bicycle? When I'm bored, I often get on my bike and ride around town. While I try to keep from getting killed in the traffic, the thoughts of the food I want to devour are totally gone........and I'm burning up a few calories instead of adding to the problem. It might work for you, too.
Right now, I'm thinking about that box of chocolates I put in the back of my closet, so I'm going to go to bed. Good luck tomorrow.

Hey, I weight 245 lbs right now I'll be working out a lot in the next couple of months, I'll try to add a before and after photo. I'm not sure what I want my goal to be....................................I'm thinking of at least 20 lbs lost would be good.
ok so the picture came out a little bigger than I wanted but oh well....incentive I guess. :)

Good morning everyone. Did you all see the biggest loser last night? I have heard of the show of course but never watched it before. Maybe that will help me if I watch it each week. Anyway, that one trainer talked about water for a little while. Detox with water instead of some fancy mixtures etc. I didn't add water back into my routine yet so I'll start today. After my two or three mugs of coffee! :) I will never quit the coffee. Let's just be honest about it! lol
Good luck back at work Amy. Get one good day behind you and the next one will be a little easier, and the next one and so on....
