wow! cape codess! i remember you!!! that is so strange, because i was wondering, not too long ago, what ever happened to you. i was actually picking up cream cheese at the grocery store, and for some reason, you came to mind. strange. welcome back, anyway!
weighed this morning- i am between 118-119. this sounds so strange to me. i don't think i should be this low. weird. now i just have to keep it up and get get "comfortable"

Please add me to this fun challenge. I do not intend to do anything different with my daily routine as it has worked well in the past, it should work for the future, plus I track my daily progress in the diaries section.
So, here is the goal for myself. I weighed myself on my birthday (Dec 30th, and it was anywhere from 198-200 depending on the scale), so let's call it 200 lbs for a start weight. The goal is to lose 1-2 lbs a week if at all possible. So, looking at a calendar, that would have me at a minimal loss of 9 lbs, to a weight of 191. Let's call it 190.
I was just weighed today for a health plan incentive with work. Here is all the pertinent data.
Start weight: 200 lbs
Goal Weight: 190 lbs
Current weight: 195 lbs (01/17/2008)
Now the question is Who actually adds me to the list?

This is the first online-weight-loss challenge that I have ever been in.
I lost about 25-30 lbs back in '06, then proceeded to gain it back due to my #%@&! job. Yes I can say it was my job, as travel about 9 months out of the year, and the places I tend to work do not always have the healthiest options, especially when you have limited kitchen supplies (i.e. NONE).
Anyhow, I am now working from my home and should be there for at least a year, hopefully more. So the diet and exercise will become very constant and the weight should drop off, as it has already started.

I began Jan 1st @ 178.8 and Jan 18 I weigh 171.0, My goal by the end of feb is 163.8 Will I be added or do I do something else....

Ok...I didn't check in on Monday, coz I normally weigh in on a Saturday morning...so, last week I was down to 70kg (156.5lb)...and this Saturday morning (ie now) I'm down to 69.2kg (153.7lb). VERY happy!
My 29th of Feb goal is to be down to 68kg (151lb)...and I'm almost there already! Ultimately I want to get down to at least 60kg (133.3lb) but probably about 55-57kg (122-126.6lb)...we'll see!
Keep going everyone - this is great!!

| I kind of fell off the wagon for a week there... I was down to 171 but now I'm back up to 173. I'm back with the program now.

I fell off as well. Don't be discouraged Find a spot and jump back in with the next mouthful ha..You are strong and have much support from this sight.Good luck and remember it is a life time process that we keep getting better at each day..Even when we gain..... we gain more lessons...Sorry I couldn't resist that play..haha oh yes and laughing helps you to burn more calories.Be a loser today! I was supposed to be getting a puppy this weekend, and when it didn't work out I went home and quite consciously decided to eat some comfort food! It was one HUGE (nearly the box) serving of mac n' cheese.
But I actually did pretty well because between the doggie place and home I had to go to the supermarket. In the past, I would have eaten the supermarket.
I think these challenges help!

Monday morning check-in = 68.9kg (153.11lb)...yay!!! Goal was 68kg...think I'm gonna blow that out of the water!!!

You can say that again. I just emailed a few people that I know who are struggling with weight issues to let them know this is the best sight I have ever found to assist people with lifestyle changes involving weight issues and maintaining the body you want and much much more. | I know I'm a day early (Sunday) but I weighed myself at work and I'm 152.5 lbs now.I started this challenge with the weight of 160 with the goal of losing 10 lbs by the end of Feb. I have 2 lbs left to go.I will continue losing even after I take the next 2 lbs off.I guess I need to challenge myself somemore.Maybe I'll go for another 10 lbs by the end of Feb.That will bring my weight down to 140 lbs.

I LOVE challenges!
Joni the Newbie here! I'm beginning today at 215.8. My goal for the end of February is 16 pounds, putting me at 199! YES!!!!!! I already lost "water weight" last week, so I hope I have some left since this averages about 2.5 pounds a week!

Good news for me... I finally saw the scale move down! :)
My weight is 285, last two weeks it's been 295, original start was 288, so yes, I lost the water weight and then some! <doin' the snoopy dance!>

I hope all is well in Baton Rouge! Here are the latest stats.
Jan 14 - 234 lbs
Jan 21 - 231 lbs
Loss this week - 3 lbs!!!! Yay!!!! I'm at a grand total of 59 lbs lost since I began in mid-July. One more to go to hit a new mini-goal of 60 lbs.

I am pumped!! This week: 162.2. That makes a total of 5 pounds since we started the challenge - and - a good sign - work is very,very busy right now - in fact, I'm here today on a day when the University is closed....

Despite the last two off days, I managed to lose 2 pounds! Weight this week=168. Last week was 170. Great news! Yipeee! That was my goal for the end of February, so now I'm changing my goal. Another 6 pounds? Aw heck, I'll shoot for 8. 160 by the end of February.

WOW! Everybody seems to be doing quite well. Keep up the hard work!
If you haven't reported your weight, today (Monday) is the day to do so. Yep, every Monday, hop on that scale and report your weight. Report will be updated sometime tomorrow so check out page 1 tomorrow for results. I know we're getting close to 1/4 ton ...maybe more!!!
