OK, everyone, bear with me. A couple of entries ago you will see the initial line-up of participants. Almost 100 people!!!!
A few are missing info....if it's you, please post your weights and goals. If I missed you, it is an oversight so please let me know. (I know I missed the last three or four of you as I was in the process of posting the list!)
If I typed your name or your weights wrong, please let me know. I know it came out small. I have my resident computer expert (teenage daughter) working on revising it so we can all read it.
Finally, tomorrow (Monday) is our first reporting date. So report your current weight and how much you lost and I will update it.

I know its sunday night but mondays are very hectic for me and not sure if I can stop in so its sundaynight and I am posting my weight of 220 I had a great week I think I might have to re due my goal I think I put 10 lbs. I might reach that in a few weeks instead of 2 months. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Oh well here's my weigh in - 174lb which is a loss of 2lb.
Hope you all have a good weigh in today
Oh I may not be able to weigh in for the next two weeks as I'm away skiiing. On the plus side that should be a lot of excercise , but it also means that I may not be eating good foods . Still it'll be interesting to see what my weight is when I return.

Ok...I normally weigh in on Saturday mornings however, I weighed myself this morning for this New Year, New You! challenge and from my starting weight of 72kg (160lb), I am now on 70.5kg (156.67lb) - a loss of 1.5kg (or 3.33lb). Very pleased! I am well on my way to achieving my weight-loss goal of 68kg (~151lb) - hopefully I blow it out of the water!!

Good morning America and thanks DG!
I started at 210 and have dropped to 207 a loss of 3lbs.
Thats the easy week over. A pound a week will do me from here, so the hard miles start now.

... mama bear checking in with all of you hard working weight loosing buddies. Well, I started off 2008 at 155 and well believe it or not I stayed the same as of this morning I am still 155 so NO PAIN ... NO GAIN for me so I guess that was a good thing so see you next week if not before !!

Ok, so I started at 186.2 and this morning I'm at 184.2. Yay! I actually did not gain over the weekend, which is a really big deal for me! Good luck everybody!

Ok, so far I haven't lost any weight, I am still at 144. Will try to do better this week.

This mornings weight is 244.8 lbs. I lost 2.2 lbs. WOOOOHOOOO

Good morning everyone!
I'm happy to report a loss of 2.5 lbs! I was at 173.5 last week and down to 171.0 this a.m.
That is huge for me because I had always gained over the weekend and I didn't this time. I have to contribute this loss to exercising because I worked out every day but one. But also because of this challenge because I knew I had to weigh in this a.m.! Thanks for all the support everyone! Have to continue on!! Good luck everyone!

Oops! Taking a while to learn how to do this ticker calculate--
Well here it is a week later. I am really excited. I have been diligent about working out 30-40 minutes per day on my bike as well as keeping a written calorie log of all I am eating and when I am eating it but more importantly, I take a minute to note if I am really hungry or not. I feel great and am motivated. Also, push the water people and move, move, move.

Good Morning All! 
Thanks everyone for this challenge. I already see how it has helped me and a lot of others posted here. I started at 155 and this morning scale says....152.5!
2.5 # down for my first week! I'm very happy.
I like others already posted today feel it's a result of three things: 1) counting everything that I eat/drink - calories 2) lots of exercise 3) 60-75oz water/day.

I am still at 180. I did work out a lot, but was not hypervigilant on my diet. I am changing that this week.

Mondays can be so disappointing!

Grrr! No change for me. Hectic week, lots of work here at home. Hanging sheetrock, scrubbing cabinets, etc....You'd think that would be some good calorie burning! Well, better luck this week! Oh and I am joining the YMCA today! I'm so excited! I've got my husband to commit to at least 3 days a week for now. He needs to lose about 20-30 pounds, my 14 year old son is all psyched to do weight trainging, and my 12 year old girl needs to lose about 15 pounds and is all reved up to go to the Y!

Congratulations to everyone who is still here!
It's so easy to slink off into cyberspace at this point.
I stuck to my "No sugar" plan until yesterday. We were at a buffet with friends when, talking and socialising, I went back for dessert without even thinking! I was so mad at myself for blowing it. I've fallen off lots of diets in my life but this was the first time I did it accidentally, just through absent minded behavior.
I did remember to do my Leslie Sansone "Miracle Mile" workout each day.
Result: 195 to 195.5. Gained 1/2 pound. Oh well. Must try harder.

Today's weigh-in: 169.6
That's -4.4lbs. I'm very excited. I even went on a date with my husband to Olive Garden and didn't blow it! Thanks for the accountability and motivation.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to be in the challenge also. I started at 180. I weighed in at 175 this morning. My goal was 170-but since this is a CHALLENGE I want to change my goal weight to 165. It will take a lot of work because I know that first 5 pounds was water weight. OK. Time for the serious work of war against the fat!! Never give up! Never surrender!

Good Morning -
Didn't think I was going to like this Monday Weigh-In - since I usually cheat on the weekends but it was good for me - good accountability and making sure I stick to watching what I eat. Anyway, I weighed in today at I am at 126 - so that is 2 pounds down - 9 more to good! I think what really helped me is measuring my foods - 1/2 cup of this - 1 tsp of that - I know its a pain but it does really help so you can you see what a 1/2 cup actually looks like - and it's not much. This week I plan on writing down everything I eat - another pain but again I know that really helps knowing what you actually eating - every little thing from a piece of gum to that candy you popped in your mouth while passing someone's desk! And my final thing is working out - getting that 1 hour squeezed into a busy workday - once I'm there no problem - getting there is the issue. So I've set up a reminder on my outlook to tell me to Workout - it pops up at 10:30AM and then again at 2:00PM - I am very fortunate because we have a gym at work and I can go whenever I get the time! Talk to you all next week and I hope everyone hangs in there! We can do this together!!

I'm sorry but I can't find the member list you typed - I started at 120 and I am at 118.5 today - more importantly though I've eaten very well for the past week or so, lots of fruits and veggies! Thanks DG!

Ultimate goal = 145
Not much, but I am very proud of it! I did exercise a lot and watched my diet.
Did not drink water... that is my challenge for this week.

Goose egg (0) on the loss for me. But I have been sick for a week with a bad sinus infection.
I am still proud of myself for starting my first food diary in my life. I stayed between 1150 and 1300 all week on calories. Hope I can start exercising and report good results next week!
