Clarinet girl,

thank you for the support!  It is much needed. Today I started logging everything I eat so I can keep an eye on what I am eating.

It is so hard because I eat for fun too!  Sometimes i am full and I am eating because it tastes good!

I feel so bad because my husband tells me that he loves me the way I am but he misses my old body!  I just can't seem to buckle down and stick to the diet, so hopefully this helps!

*Apology for intruding on the Halloween thread*

Monkey, where are you logging your food and stuff? Online or on paper? Do you have a diary here on cph?

I do the same thing! Eating when I'm not hungry. Oddly enough, right now Iam hungry but not eating  I need a snack...

I have an on-line diary, but I made a little book that I am hand writing everything.

I wasn't sure if I should log it on my on-line diary and bore people.

monkey809,

Don't worry about boring people. No one has to read your diary! But the thought that they might (and some surely will) helps to keep you on track.

Be sure to start with the Tutorial.

BTW, I have 12 monkeys, but can't imagine keeping 809!

Final weigh in is 221lbs, not as much as I was hoping for, but, at least it wasn't a gain.  On to the new challenge.

My goal was 2 pounds a week, but I'm very happy to have lost 6 pounds in October. I started the challenge late on October 1.

192.5 - 186.5 = 6.0

I also commited to report any sweets I ate, and that amounted to one M&M in some trail mix and I ate the M&M by accident!

I'm looking forward to the "Lets Finish 2007 with a Bang" Challenge with a goal of 1 pound a week, which I think is an idea goal. That's 52 pounds a year!

Thanks for the challenge Storm,

This morning I weighed 234.6 but I always round up to a whole number so I'll call it 235.  My starting weight was 254 and my goal weight for this challenge was 234 so I lost 19.  One pound short.  I'll take it!

Happy Halloween all.

I hope we have lots of folks join us for the end of the year challenge.

Sorry a little belated post... I was procrastinating hoping the scale would budge down some more, but it did not.

Final for me if 132 which is 2 over my goal.  Oh well, progress in the right direction at least!

Thank you Voododoll..........5lbs is much better than a weight gain and it is a loss, but, I was really hoping for much more.

and not to change the subject, but, what a difference a day makes.  I thought I was on the wrong website...........looks nice.............it is going to take some getting use to though.........

I sort of had two starting weights and I didn't lose anything this week, so that puts my total weight loss at 8-10 pounds for this challenge.  Not quite what I had hoped, but hey, it's less weight than I was when I started.

Starting weight: 210/212
Ending weight: 202

Well. I will report in..............but it's not good    On the morning of the 31st, I weighed in at 174.6 lbs.     I think that's a whopping 1 lb.

I have been struggling for a long time.........I'll do fine for a while, then suddenly start eating the wrong foods, and the scale sky-rockets

I will join the next challenge, with high hopes again........we'll see!

Final for me: 135.4  Actually, I know this 3.4 lbs over what I said my goal was, but I am plenty satified to tell you the truth. Any loss is worth.

Storm, if once everyone checks in you will post a final chart I can figure up who "won," if you still want.

Nice job everyone!

well i started this challenge on 256lbs and ended it on 249lbs. thats a 7lb loss- not great but its half a stone, and half a stone thats gone for good  i have learnt a lot about myself over the course of this challenge and the way i act and behave with food. i think i know where i have been going wrong and although my methods need some find tuning my determination is as strong as ever.

well done everyone:smile:
