I've been having a re-feed, eating at maintenance level (2100 calories) for the last 6 days. On Friday I had a 1712-calorie pig-out lunch at pizza-hut (with very modest breakfast and bedtime meals). Yet this is the first time my graph is registering a downward trend since week 4. My body is mocking me

Well, this week I had been as low as 131.8lbs, but this morning is what counts, right? 132.4lbs. So a 2lb loss this week.
I know why it's higher today, anyway. Pizza Hut meal deal last night as I was too ill to cook, dessert and everything. It wasn't even nice, everything was a bit sub-standard, even for Pizza Hut. Haha.

Well my weigh in was yesterday and i had lost the 2 pounds I needed to lose to meet the challenge!!! WOOHOOOO I am hoping to lose at least 0.5-1 more pound by the 1st. Good luck to everyone else.

well its the first of september at last! due to time of the month i am waiting till monday to post my final weigh in as i usually put on about 5-6lbs in water at this time so my results would not be accurate at all! good luck to everyone else!

| Well, too bad for me, I end this challenge at 219. Down a total of six pounds but also up two pounds from my lowest weight. A couple of cheats didn't help, but I'm hoping it's mostly muscle mass from my new workout routine (rosy glasses right?) I didn't reach my goal, but hopefully someone starts another challenge, because I had a great time doing this one and I think it gave me a lot of motivation. Thanks Sassykat!!! You rock!

Hey All, I will give my official final weight on Monday, but, I was thinking that maybe someone would like to start a new challenge only instead of pounds lost, we could go with inches lost, as sometimes, we can loose inches, but, not as much weight, because of changing fat to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. This would be especially good challenge for the ones that don't have as much weight to loose, but need to tone up and get in better shape. I would do it, but, still working lots of overtime and barely have time to read the posts, much less keep track of them. Well, see you all on Monday.

I cannot complain about a lack of weight loss this week. After all I've been eating my maintenance calories for the last 14 days or so - that's what one would expect. Over these 9 weeks though progress has been disappointing, given that many weeks featured a calorie deficit of between 1800 and 2400 (which should have roughly yielded 1/2 a pound of loss). Perhaps I'll try again in the future, when I am better-prepared (for example, track and limit my carb intake to 50% of calories etc.) - I am currently playing around with computer tools that will let me do that [and yes, this website also has suitable calculators]. Anyhow, I think I'll be skipping the next challenge.
It is annoying to have failed in this challenge, but as I keep having to remind myself, every person who has met me in person looks at me funny if I say I'm trying to lose fat. Could they all be wrong?
So, one final time, here is my rather flat-lining graph:

HI All,
Well, I didn't do so great on this challenge, had lots of other challenges in my life, that just led the way to eating...........at least I did learn some things about myself and hopefully these are being corrected by myself as I type, working on each and everyone of them. I now know what some of my problems are and why I weigh what I do, and thank you for bringing this to my attention.
My final weigh in is up to 226lbs, I kind of went in the wrong direction, but, I did learn and that is what counts.
See you all at the Halloween challenge and hopefully these lessons that I learned will be put to full use and we will see the weight go down.

This week I had a lot of parties. Even if I count the calories and never exceed 1800, I had beers and slowed down my metabolism (but i had a great time )... so i'm still happy i'm in the right way.

Sorry to ruin your total, SK, but I gained since my last weigh in..........I was back up to 172 before we took our weekend away....so only 2 lbs lost since the start of the challenge.
