Ok, I got stung three times last week by bees. I think they were just your run of the mill honey bees. They found a way in the house upstairs in my sons room. No fooling he had at least 50 or more in there. So, I went in and started killing them.

Anyway, it's been almost a week and the areas that I got stung itch like crazy and now are swelling some. Ugh!

Anybody know how I can get the itching and swelling to go away...?

antihistamine cream and/or pills (benedryl type products)?
usually it's an allergic reaction.  maybe even "after bite" if you can find it this time of year.

and 50 bees- you running in killing them- that picture makes me laugh.  sorry, i just picture you going crazy mad on those guys. :)

Thanks, but my neighbor told me the same thing. So, I took some benedryl and the swelling went away...it does still ich some.

Anyway, yea.....my husband had to go up to the windows and spray to keep them out. He sprayed 1/2 can of wasp stuff in the windows.....There old windows with the rope and pulleys. So, lots of empty places for them to sneak in.

It wasn't all that funny. I was sucking them up with the dust buster...they were moving pretty slow and not much life left in them. Two of the stings were ones that just happen to fall on me... :dizzy: so, it wasn't like they were after me or anything....lol
