My Daughter is Graduating from high school in a few weeks. Let me tell you how much stress this has been. I didn't realize all that was involved in this. Geeezzz, first you have pictures, then invitations, a graduation party.

Not to mention all of the other stuff. Filling things out for grants, financial aid, what school to go to, where to live. :dizzy:

I swear if I survive this, it will be a miracle.

Then I get to do it all over again in two years. Yeah, can't wait.

The only good coming out of this is my husband has decided to build a new deck, why I don't know, like we don't have enough to do, lol.

Anyway, by time my third kid graduates I should have this all figured out.

Just was curious how many people on the forum are going through this same thing.

I AM a kid graduating this year

Yeah, it's definitely a lot of work...and I feel kinda guilty, and it's kinda ironic, cause I'm trying to get scholarship at the same time were spending all this money for pictures, invitations, cap and gown, graduation party, graduation gift....(my parents got me a digital camera!!)

It's like, man, maybe we could pay for more college if we didn't have to pay so much for graduation, you know?

But I just won 2000 dollars in an essay contest!! Yay!!

LoL... that's cool that you won that contest.

Yes, I agree, it's quite the production. I don't know why it needs to be that way. I think alot people get carried away with it.

Like my husband building the new deck, right before the party. :dizzy:

Well, hang in there, you and your parents will make it through all the stuff. I am sure we will to. I just can't imagine doing it again, two more times.

My daughter can't wait to get out on her own. I just worry that she will be ok. I sure your parents feel the same way.

Bye the way, good luck to you, where-ever you decide to go to school.
