Just venting on one of the "things" that REALLY bug me when Im watching TV.
If you look at all the ads for mascara, be it print ads or TV, they all claim to make your lashes, thicker, longer etc. BUT they all have t he models wearing false eyelashes.

This just really bugs me. I know most beauty products make claims that are somewhat "exaggerated" but when it comes to lash product the blaitant use of false lashes makes me angry, first for the fact that they dont even hide it, on some of the ads you can even see the glue.

Are there people out there that actually think that the way the lashes look on the ads are what they are gonna get? 2nd when they take the product home, do they not see that their lashes dont look like the before and after or are they using a tube a week? (or day)

Just venting.........

yeah, i hate the ones that claim to be clump free.  usually they tend to be the worst with clumps (i work at a very popular chain drug store and i get free samples pretty regularly... i also tend to waste my money on mascara...:dizzy:).  i have found that sticking to the calssics are best... all of the new ones are #%@&!... any of the ones that have you put the primer on first suck and the new brushes that are rubbery get all clumpy and chunky.  seriously- mabeline full and soft or loreal voluminous are so the way to go.  they are classic.....

Ugh, I also hate when they advertise skin products and then freaking AIR BRUSH the people.

Yeah, the skin products will really make you have air brushed looking faces.
It's so misleading!

If they're advertising those products, they should actually be using them in the advertisements!!!

(or do they?!)

Sometimes it's so obvious... the people would look plastic...
