I would assume mine's an obvious one. However, I did stress over it. As a new "poster" to forums, I thought it mattered!
But basically, woman, mother, wife, sister, friend, business owner, housekeeper, workout partner, teacher, encourager, disciplinarian, chef, chaufer, concierge, animal trainer, lover, karateka, student, .....must I go on?

| I decided to join this forum as plain old me. It was time to keep it simple and to be honest and deal with the weight issue which has plagued me all my life. I chose the butterfly because I like them -they seem so free. I hope to be proud of how I look soon and get hubby to help me take a picture. Lord, I may dress up in sequins and pearls and really put on the dog!

What a fun thread!
My username is a nickname given to me by my dear friend and WARRIOR sister, Gwen.
I chose my avatar because it looks just like me!

SkinnyMcLinky is a character in a funny little song I used to sing when I was a little girl....when my own kids were young, I used to sing it to them.
SkinnyMclinky Long legs
Big Banana Feet
Went To The Pictures
But Couldn't Find a Seat
When The Picture Started
SkinnyMcLinky Farted
SkinnyMcLinky Long Legs, Big Banana Feet.
LMAO...my kids loved that song..and so did I when I was a little girl. The name has been stuck in my head for many years.

Well I don't really know where my name came from exactly. I read this book a loooooong time ago in high school (like 6 years ago I guess) that was part of some series. I was about a girl kidnapped by a dragon. She was sneaking into this cave, and she peeked around a corner and saw these elfy trolly fairy type creatures that somehow gave me the idea for the word- but I can't remember what they were called. Fritzlesprites maybe? No, that's not it. Anyways, I was trying to come up with a username for something and every single thing I typed in was taken. I made up my own word so that I'd never have to waste 1000 hours trying to settle for a common name with some letters or numbers added on. I'm rather fond of it actually. It's unique, with the ph and the 3 z's.
*The book was called Dealing With Dragons or one of the others in the series. I still can't find the creature-doodles though.

OK, this is a interesting topic....
I'm not sure where my username/nickname came from. All I know is, "back in the day" one of my guy friends starting jokingly/affectionately calling me that. I remember when all my friends started calling me that, and we would bowling, seeing "crickerbuns" up on the big monitor. Remember when keeping score at the old bowling ally's and your name would be up on those big monitors over the lanes? I think they should still do that. It was fun being able to see the scores of all those around you.
Speaking of bowling, if I could blink and be there, I would be bowling right now! ha!
Anyway, I do have some buns!
Maybe in time, if I keep going on losing weight, I'll re-register and call myself, "shrinking crickerbuns" LOL!
Have a great day everyone....

Okay, it's not a username, but I like at the vet when they announce "We are ready to see Mukaluka Dirtypaws." What's so funny is that they try so hard not to snicker for being afraid of insulting me!

| My username is really boring. Bekah (first name) L for lynne and W for warner. The ladybug is just cute. Maybe I could have been a little more creative when I signed up, but I didn't know I'd end up being a caloriesperhour junkie.

| Mine means nothing really.....I know how boring...Just parts of my name. I do go by fishplay in other forums about fish. And once in awhile I will use cattoys-which is hubbys nickname from a friend back in highschool. Just kind of works, since it's not commen...

| if you are going to drink port wine, make sure its a good one! it has a tendancy to be either awesomely wonderful, or disgustingly bad. oh, and you have to have the good stuff with dark dark chocolate. heaven!!!
