Hello, im 18 and until i was about 17 i was anxious about being too thin and having no muscle. now I am getting fatter and fatter. atm i am 6 foot 3 inch and around 210 pounds. how overweight is this and how much should I lose? it only really shows on my belly and kinda on my chest, but its bad enough that i cant take my shirt off at raves any more. i am really self conscious about it but i know im not obese, but i smoke and i have a sitting down lifestyle, and every time i have tried to add exercise ot my life its been too difficult and demoralising.
so i come here, where ppl proobably know a lot more than me, to ask.. all i want to do is look nice, can u please share with me some simple and realistic things for a lazy smoker to do so I can lose this belly :)
i have no problem with taking diet pills if anyone has had success with them.
thanks!

According to the BMI calc on this site you need to lose at least fifteen pounds to be at the top of a normal BMI. Of course, it would be better if you could find out your body fat percentage, which accounts for how much of your weight is muscle and so is more accurate than a BMI calc.
The best way would be...to quit smoking...and to quit being lazy
You really need to find some type of exercise that you can enjoy..or at least tolerate. Also, what kinds of things do you eat?
Glad you found us!!

| ok not that the BMI isnt helpful but it doesnt matter a whole lot. what i would say is much more important is your body fat percentage which the BMI does not work with. even with your current weight if you only have 15% BF then you are just really muscular. in anycase smoking is mostly why you seem to be having a hard time with exercising. like you said your a raver so you clearly enjoy music. maybe dancing or running with music will help. also start watching what youre eating.
