Hi, im new to the forums. But thats besides the point =p. Im 15 almost 16 and im about 6 feet tall. I weigh about 190 195 pounds. im looking to loose around 15 or 20 pounds, trying to get them abs showing. Im not that obese. but i do need to loose some of that fat ive got laying around. Any suggestions. I dont exactly have time to workout and run. Ive got a pretty busy lifestyle. The most i can manage to fit in is situps and pushups at night in my room. I was thinking about trying some of those diet pills ive been hearing about. any suggestions anyone? Id appreciate it =p

If you don't have time to work out, forget about getting your abs to show. Even if you lose 20 pounds or so, your abs won't show if you don't build them up.
Also don't try diet pills. It's just a gimmick, and it's not healthy either.

well i mean, ive got time to workout my abs. like i said. situps in my room ive been doing for awhile. i can flex my stomach very well, but ive got the little bit of fat ive got left covering them a little bit. i know running is the best way to loose stomach fat, but i dont have time to run. thats what i ment by that.

You'll have to make time.
Losing weight by diet alone does not work as well as losing weight with diet and exercise, and sit-ups don't work very well anyway: they damage your lower back and provide minimum effectiveness.

Yeah, sit-ups are going out of fashion. They don't truly work as well as people thought they did.
Very few diet pills work LONG TERM. You'll hear lots of stories about great results for all kinds of things...but find out how long they did it, and what happened when they came off.
We also have a thread about diet pills, you should go check it out.
It has also been proven that it is hard to take fat off where you want it to come. If you want to lose fat, you just need to lose fat, not try to focus on a certain spot. Cause it's going to come off wherever your body thinks it needs to come off...
Sorry, I think I'm being negative :) I don't mean to be. Why don't you check out the Tutorial for some great tips?

That sounds fun :) Oh, and something else that helps a lot of people is having three smallish with two snacks in between, or six mini meals throughout the day...

| Pilates is a great way to MAINTAIN your weight and keep in shape after you've lost the fat you want to, but doesn't burn many calories when compared to a cardio workout.

Well, I do seem to remember my stomach feeling tighter back when I was doing pilates. May help some. I agree, not for burning calories...but still...
