What are our goals?

I was just thinking what is everyone's goals.  Is it to just eat better and healther? Get to x pounds? Run a mile in 6 minutes? Wear size 3 pants?  What are you trying to achieve... just thought it might be a little inspirational.

I'm 5'3 and a size 15 in juniors. I'm not actually THAT overweight. I'm pretty in-shape, and the only reason I wear such big sizes is because I have an extremely large chest (so all my shirts are XL) and my thighs are bigger than my waist is.

I want to be a size 9 in juniors clothing.

I'm just trying to maintain a healthy diet/exercise plan and get a decent looking body:grin:. Though I used to put my health at the bottom of the priority list and put looking nice at the top. I thought by doing this I'd get a good boyfriend and become a lot more popular. Nothing has really changed but I realize the importance of my health and feel better maintaining it. I set my standards too high and overlooked the real important things in my life.

I'm 5'7.5" and 170lbs.  Not horrible, but nothing I would be comfortable in a bathing suit.  My goal is to wear the top and bottom to a bikini bathing suit this summer. I want to enjoy my summer and not worry about how I look.

I've been eating a low-cal diet and doing some light cardio and an awesome pilates ab workout online.

I eat about 6 mini- meals a day.  But its nothing more than 1200cals a day.

I'm serious-- this workout burnnnsss and you see results fast.  Try it.

My goal is to stay on my life style and be healthier. I currently wieght 293 pounds as of this morning. I don't really have a "specific" weight goal I want to be exept to be a smaller as the larger and older my back, knee's, blood pressure, and etc will be off the roof and i'll suffer.

I don't mean starvation diet. I mean diet as a range of foods eaten regularly, be it chocolate and ice cream or carrots and celery.

 

-More excersize.

That would be my biggest problem. I'm too focused on getting into a good college with my grades and I'm forgetting that colleges look at sports and clubs as well. So more running and yoga it is!

I don't really know where Harvard is... I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going for pre-law, and I haven't given a lot of thought to where I'm going after that. I just want to get accepted to Harvard, even if I don't end up going there. =D

ooh. its really difficult to get into harvard. 22,000 people apply a year and only 2,000 end up getting accepted. and im pretty sure its in connecticut.

anyways, my goals are pretty far-fetched. but i know that i will achieve them. i wont give up until its done. this is what they are:

1) id like to get to get down to 140 lbs. which is not a lot, since im really muscular and 5'8

2) i want to join my schools cross country team

3) i want healthier skin and hair

4) ill run a half-marathon (13 miles)

i love exercising and i spend 9 hours at the YMCA every week running and lifting weights. since ive started exercising so much and im on the varsity track team and soccer teams, hopefully im on my way to becoming healthier

Health-Overall feel better and get rid of these raccoons sleeping under my eyes!

Clothing- I want to reach down to maybe a 3. I’m not too sure, but lower than what I have. AND wear a bikini!

Pounds- This summer I want to go to 130 (and later maybe get a few pounds lower, depending on how I feel.)

I'm 5'5" and 111 pounds and sizes between 1-3, so really...I'm not looking to lose weight, but like everyone, I have those problem area's that I'd like to tone up.

My goals are to:
-Tone up
-Get more energy
-Lead a healthy lifestyle.

My whole family is obese, so when I was 5'3" and 140lbs I decided to turn that around.

Although if I'm being honest sometimes I could care less if I was healthy if I could just be thin. Not to the point of anorexia!! Just...you know. Sometimes I get my priorities out of order:tongue:

  • Get down to only my "essential fat", which means losing 16-17% body fat
  • Put on a good bit of muscle so I can stop being pure bone and blubber
  • Have the motivation to exercise 6 days a week
  • Learn correct portion sizes
  • Make it a habit to stay under 1400 calories a day
  • Regain my old gymnastic flexibility
  • Stop bingeing at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to weight 125lbs! Since the age of ten I have been refered to as fat by friends, classmates, and family. One time my family even had a discussion about how fat I was. I'm sick of it!. I'm 15 now and 5"5' earlier this year was 165lbs. I've got myself down to 141lbs, but I need to lose that last 16!

Hey Serina! Wow, we sound like we are in similar places. I have always been thought of as fattish, I do believe...I rememmber once in elementary school when my best friend said i was fat...broke my heart...that was not a good day.

Anyway, I'm down to 138 ish from my top at 173, and hoping for 120! I am an inch shorter than you...

Anyway, good luck with your goal!! Good luck on the skirt too, I hope you find a super cute one! :grin:

1. i want to wear a bikini for the first time since i was like 10 by the end of this summer, and oh i want it to look good ahah  ( i've been wearing tankini's for like ever, i'm getting bored with it)

2. i want to be about 140 lbs, lower would be nice, but i'm being realistic here, i'm 5'5" (that's for now, it could change as i get closer to that weight, it's what i did before i gained it all back :dizzy: lol)

3. I want to be happy with the way i look and feel

4. i want to be in shape by the time soccer rolls around in the fall, and that means not being in top five for slowest runners in distance, even though i play defense, sometimes the coach likes me on half back and that's KILLERR!!! ahah :shock:


okay, that's mostly it, i'm sure there's more, but those are my top goals :]
