That'd be cool to do with friends - better than doing it your boyfriend only to break up e.g. Britney Spears .

| Just thought about this at work yesterday. I want to get either a full day at the spa or a full body massage. Matters which one I can afford. Something I would never do now. muwhahahaha

A manicure might be fun. Like, not uber like fake nails...I don't think I could handle that...just grow my own nails out a bit and get them shaped and painted all pretty...

You know, I haven't really thought much about this, but I'm gonna:
1. Buy a new wardrobe..a common theme here! I'm not going to go all out expensive, but I'm going to shop at places like American Eagle and those kind of stores that I've always envied my friends over as I was stuck at Old Navy all the time!
2. Donate my sizes 14 and up to the Salvation Army. My wardrobe now ranges from a size 12-20 (I lost weight last year) and am in between a 12 and 14 now. I want to be a 6 or 8. I know I'm only human though so throwing away everything above an 8 would be stupid :P
3. Go swimming in the public pool or at the beach...without a Tshirt! The last 2 years I've always told everyone I just hate to swim, even though I like it. It was more I hated being seen in my bathing suit! My families going on a cruise this year, and I'm planning on using the pool.
4. Take up tennis again, when I'm in shape.
5. Get a super sexy prom dress..I'll be buying that this time next year. I looked last year (just out of curiosity) and avoided anything that showed my upper arms. I'm hoping I can pull off a strapless!
6. Allow myself a Light Frappuccino every week that I stay on track. I love those things!

Haha, I can so relate to that. I used to always wear a t-shirt over my bathing suit in the summer. And I need to get a dress for my middle school graduation in June. I hate my shoulders/upper arms, though, so I don't know what I'm gonna buy.

The t-shirt/hiding in the swimsuit thing seems to be so common across the weight loss community, except I personally never hid. Lately I began to feel more self conscious, but at the beach I didn't care...I love the beach! It'd be lovely if this summer I'll be on the beach in a bikini!!!

I think I might want to pierce my belly button when I reach goal, if it's safe of course. Unless there is a fake way of doing it?

I've never thought about this either...As most people have said, I'm going to buy new clothes.
I currently wear XXL shirts, and I can't wear anything from places like Abercombie, because even the XXL shirts there are small!
My goal is atleast medium, but I might head to small if the diet goes well. I'd be just happy to get out of my XXL, maybe even a large would do! Though my main goal is medium, as I said.
So, yes I'd buy new clothes. I'd LOVE to have pants from hot topic, I LOVE them. But none will fit me...We can barely find jeans to fit me.

Don't worry! I couldn't find boots to fit me a year ago. The zip would stop at my ankles. Now I can nearly zip it all the way. Just keep looking at those pants and take comfort in the fact that you WILL wear them one day. Probably this time next year, or possibly even sooner than that.

I think this is a great topic, but I'd like to add to it by sharing a slightly different point of view.
I once met a woman who had struggled with weight all her life and finally came to realize that she had so little self-esteem that she never felt inspired to do better.
When she realized this, she realized that she needed to do something to reward herself now for her efforts to do better. And while she had very little money, she decided to reward herself each week by having her nails done Friday after work.
It was a statement that she cared about herself, and it only encouraged her to do better and better.
A reward for reaching your weight loss goal it just great, but remember to reward or at least acknowledge yourself for the good you are doing on your journey to your goal.

Once I reach my goal, I amgoing to go get some rockin' pants. Something with a awesome embrodery set on the calf-section. X3
Then, NEW SKETCHBOOKS!
Getting new sketchbooks would so rock. Maybe I could use those, or the money for them, as a reward for x-many pounds.... *ponders this* Oh yes, and hang with my friends a hella lot more! I don't see them enough DX

| when i have got to my goal weight (even though at the moment i am not 100% sure what it is) i am prob going to buy some tight jeans. not so i can look like a tart, just because at the moment jeans that hug everything jus make me look worse! i'll have to do a lot of shopping for clothes because hopefuly all the clothes i have now will be falling off of me! In my mind, this is really funny. The same BIG thing I will do is the same if I get into my dream college. Of course, I will buy new clothes that are so cute and just so attractive. My blue halter top is one definitely.
I have a good friend who attends college in Ohio. I will call her and spend some time with her at her school, doing educational activites.

Your reward is going to be educational activities!!? Just kidding.
Yeah I know what your saying about the tight jeans emma. That's why I love juniors jeans, because they sit kinda on my hips, so, below my tummy...it's less noticeable than when I used to wear misses...

When I reach my goal weight (what ever that is lol Im starting my weight loss as of January 1st) Oh but first heres the funny part. I'm gradding in january because i have enough credits, so i won't show up at school ever except for Band, Cuba trip, Prom, And graduation ceremony. Everyone in my school treats me like im nobody haha
But I'm going to buy the most beatiful Prom dress! (that i can afford lol) and show up at prom and go HA! IN your face! XD
Also i'm going to get a new wardrobe, and some boots I've always wanted a pair! I also love to dress in punk clothing. My favorite stuff!
After that i'm going to get my ears peirced again (2nd set of holes) but i'll do this when i'm half way ^.~ ...if my parents let me ......lol and then when i've completed my goal i'm going to get some peircing at the top of the ears done and maybe if im brave an eyebrow ring
>< I can't wait! I want to look good for Cuba and everything!
We can do it guys! Go! Go! Team!

well my short term goal is to lose 5-10 pounds for prom in a month, so i will look my best. But in the long term, I like that idea of saving x amount of money a month until you reach your goal then go on a shopping spree. I spend all my money on clothes anyway. thats where my paycheck goes. but when i lose weight, those clothes wont fit me anymore. so why not just save up and go crazy when im finally where i want to be? I've already lost thirty pounds in the last year. I have twenty more to go. I'm so close.

when i reach my goal weight i will buy a KFC bucket and eat it all
ok thats a lie lol
hopefully id like to buy some new teeshirts and jeans
and on holiday take my top off without feeling wick
ive got till august to do that
Im going to glastonbury, so if its hot their id ideally like to be one of those people taking their tops off instead of sweating like a pig (even though they dont sweat in reality) with a tee shirt on.
I like the tatoo idea
what ive also done, sorta by accident, is avoided some friends who im not overly close to due to uni at the moment, by june i would like to go out with them and for them to not even recognize me or say, chris what the heck happened.
either way im going to do it
i was 17stone 10lbs at the start
now im 16stone 4lbs so in american terms ive lost 20 pounds
so yeh i love these kinda topics
my lightest ive ever been in the last 3 years is 15 stone 7 about two years ago, when i was about 4 inches smaller so technically by then ill be the leanest ive ever been
also if i get to a position of being ideal health weight etc, id like to be able to help others struggling.
but i got a bit to go methinks lol

I imagine an entire KFC bucket might b a bit of a detriment to the whole "I'm at goal weight, yay!" thing
What is "wick"? Is that a typo, or some UK word I don't know?
Congrats on your success so far!!

its a northern irish word
wick means feel bad/ ashamed
tbh i dont think i could eat a kfc i couldnt face the guilt of it all, i feel guilty when i drink soda lol
what annoys me the most is my brother who is stick thin, eats all the #%@&! of the day and never gains a pound lol
also cos im here now "whats the craic" Pronounced crak means "whats happening"
i know being one of the few northern irish people i have wee sayings so if ever confused or unsure just ask i dont bite, unless its the 12th (12th july, hols in n. ireland where there is typically alot of violence, marching lol~)
oh and cheers

Oh! And maybe I'll even try wearing a skirt!
It's rare that I wear skirts... My legs look horrible in them!
But maybe once I reach my goal, I'll be able to look good in them..

OMG.
Buy a bikini.
I've just recently reached my 140lbs mark, and my legs are looking so slim that my mom said she will buy me a skirt tomorow to celebrate.
yayay.
Now I need to lose the love handles and ghetto booty.
Then, HELLO BIKINI.

When I meet my goal, and I mean really break it to the bones and have a flat tummy; I’m going to get my belly-button pierced.
I know it’s painful (worse than ears and stuff, or so I’ve heard), but it will feel like a sealed deal. It would remind me how hard I worked to get to where I wanted to be, and hopefully stop me from gaining ANY of it back.
Oh, and I would get a bikini, along with shirts and PANTS! I have one pair of jeans that I love, and that’s it.

wear that bikini i bought as motivation!!!
wear less loose fitting clothes, all my clothes can't be touching my stomache or else i'm super self concious and constantly tugging at my shirt. I find cute clothes, like parachute shirts? they are probably the best style EVER lol but skin tight shirt would nice here or there
tank tops!!! i wear them now, but again, only the loose fitting ones
