a nice mixture of protein and vegetables, as well as pasta occasionally!

I wish I was graduating! I'm only a freshman in high school, so "yay:" 4 more years! When is your graduation? What's your school doing to make it special?

Congradulations!

Aww, a little freshie :P are the kids at your school mean to freshmen or is it all good?

Im graduating May 19. And, uh, I'm the Salutatorian,so I get to make a speech...

The most exciting things about graduating is "Project Graduation". It's this really fun thing they do every year...

We've (the senior class) been fundraising alllll year.

So after Graduation, that very night , all the seniors have a HUGE party in our school. Big lockin. You don't HAVE TO come...but I can't think why you wouldn't want to...and if you come you can't leave. It's supposed to keep us all from going out and getting drunk and killing ourselves.

Anyways, so we get to play all kinds of games for all these tickets. So, first, fun games. The you put your tickets in drawings for cool prizes...like laptops, WIIs, calculators, all kinds of stuff!

And then there's food. Pizza...Krystals...coffee from a local coffee shop.

I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun to have a night with my friends.

Yes, a little Freshie, but only for another month! Then I'll be upgraded to sophomore (big difference, right?)

People at my school are actually pretty nice to the lower-classmen though. If anything, they're nicer than freshman are to each other. I absolutely HATE freshman boys. They're so immature. The only things that distinguish them from pre-schoolers are:

1). They have a slightly larger vocabulary, so they can curse/insult people better.

2). They're a lot bigger (and frankly, smellier).

3). Us lower-classman girls don't have to date pre-schoolers!

Anyway, your graduation sounds like so much fun! I can't wait 'til I'm a senior. Then again, high school has been pretty fun even in the first year. Homecomming, for instance was great. We had coffee catered too, and getting there with my friends was an adventure all in itself. See, we went to Chipotle for dinner first, then decided it would be fun to walk to school from there. We ran under a tunnel, crossed a creek, and jumped a fence, all in our little fancy outfits! What a night!!!

I'm graduating tonight!!! AGGHHH!!!!:grin::grin: *runs around in circles screaming*

Take two:

I'm graduating tonight? agghhh...:crying::crying::crying: *hides in a corner*

I feel such a range of emotions about this. I am really excited of course. I think college will be great, well at least I hope it will be. But I get that bad feeling in my tummy when I think of how i won't see my friends again til thanksgiving or Christmas, if even then. Everything is going to change, and I'm not sure if all the changes are good. I will be out on my own (well, not completely, I will have two roomates)...but without my parents!! That scares me so much. And I am going to miss them terribly. I know I will cry so much, at least the first week or so...

I hope I can handle this...

Oooooooo I'm so happy for you:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:!!!

Don't worry too much about handling these new changes. It's a big step (not that I know....but I can understand), but as long as you have confidence and support, everything will go finely!!!!:wink::grin:

Hey guys, I'm 16 and I'm gonna be a junior this coming year.  I like writing, singing, soccer, and yoga.  I pretty much came here because i wanted a reason to keep myself from gaining more weight and try to lose some weight.  I figure if i come here, then i'll want to suceed because I'm doing it with someone.

Two years ago I was 5'4"  and weighed 170  yeah lol, and that was eighth grade, but i managed to lose 30 pounds in the next two years, so i was 139, the lowest I've been since like sixth grade, plus now I'm 5'5".  But,  then, i  had a rough year as a sophmore, and i gained about 20 of it back, i weigh about 162 now.

It's summer now, and I figure I really want to take advantage of not having to really do anything, and make a difference again.  I know I can do it, I just have to do it.  I've gone running in the morning twice now (third day of summer) and i go to my yoga class at our gym, so that should make a difference sooner or later.

So yeah, that's my whole life story, haha, don't feel obligated to read the whole thing.  I just basically want some people to do this with :]

I miss being smaller and being like 10xs more confident, so this is it, there's no more oh well tomorrow will be better, I'm gonna do it

being a sophmore is only a slight bit better haha, it's like being a freshman except in the hallways you don't notice people saying "stupid freshmen" as much hahaha, i think freshmen get more attention anyway because they're new, and guys like new haha, at least that's the way it is at our school.

I had friends that called me a freshman even though i was a sophmore, they told me when you're freshmen you have no soul, when you're a sophmore you have a soul but no body, when you're a junior you're like a human being, and when you're a senior you're a god

hahaha they're crazy, i learned not to listen to anything they say :]

and CG, i'm so pumped for being a senior in a year!!!! my vocal ensemble sang at our seniors' graduation and it was so cool, and sad because i had friends who were graduating.  but you know they were all gonna go do a bunch of unmentionable stuff at Senior Week, but we try not to think about that haha

Anyway, welcome to CPH! We all wish you luck with your new lifestyle plans and are here to answer any questions you may have.

Oh, and keep us (namely me) updated about Junior year. I hear it's the hardest so it will be nice to know more about where I'm headed...

haha it's not that bad, it wasn't my favorite, but it probably wasn't the worst (sophmore year)

and thanks :]

so far junior year sounds awesome since i actually have friends in my classes this year lol, can't wait till SAT prep though  ugh lol (at least it's a big class apparently there's only one spot open and my friends trying to get it in, so even better ) plus we're not underclassmen anymore!! (well we won't be once we have the ring ceremony (where we get our class rings, in case you're school doesn't call it that, but they probably do haha))

Things seem to actually be getting better!!

Yeah, getting class rings was fun. We don't really have a ceremony...We just go get them and then we get to hang out for like half an hour and eat donuts :P

I want to start taking an aerobics class at the Y!! I think it'd be fun.

My friends still call my bro a stupid freshmen even though he will be a junior :P

Hi There :)

Well, Im not new in CPH, since ive already posted on another sections, but i just realized there is a special forum for teens like moa! :) hehehe

Well, I have just turned 17 :O cant believe it! Im Peruvian :) so this means Im a spanish speaker but this has been the only forum i found that went along with my diet plan (FL4I), and since I know most of english, (I hope u can understand me as well) I joined :)

Cant believe how many like us are following a diet..I was shocked when I read 13 y-o ppl can write and post here..are we suffering so early??

I recall being upset about my weight since I was 9 years old..but I didnt look for help..I just let it be..Ppl used to bother me, or consider me the fatty one..or the least pretty..which hurt me so much in my childhood! I was very confused, my parents weren't ugly, to be sincere they made a pretty couple, but I was, i felt UGLY! then, my mom began being overweight..i became embarrased..when I was 12 I moved..i change school, house, neighbours..friends! And I felt terrible, since I just witnessed how my image wasnt improving on my teens.. There was a time in which I changed completely..my image, my face..dunno how it happened, everyone noticed but ME! Now when I see my pics..I realized I looked GOOD, fine..even not FAT! but in that moment i thought i was still looking like Fiona from Shrek xD that was when i was 15..then I became superduper overweight..I was 68kg / 153 cm (5.f) And I couldn't have realized it if My mom hadnt put me a nutritionist! That was October '07 And since then,..I became OBSESED with Nutrition, Diets, Losing Weight..I even considered becoming Anorexic..then Bulimic..but Thanks God HE and my friends were there to make up my mind (even though the last ones never knew how much i was suffering):O

And Now Im here, still obsesed (but in a good way) about losing weight, but now Im thinking about doing it FOR HEALTH! and to look better everyday :)

I want to be 110lbs! since thats my healthy weight according to the stats!

Well, I just wanted to tell part of my story....Hope you didnt fall asleep if you read..

Well, see ya guys, hope you are losing weight but gaining HOPE :)

God BLESS YA!

Xio

Glad you decided not to try anorexia or bulimia. I mean, they actually diseases, sicknesses...I can't think of any other area where people would actually WANT to have a sickness...

Well, good luck!! What's your plan?

Well, I'm currently off plan. No plan. The plan is to eat whatever I want and complain about gaining weight until I decide to do something about it again. My top was 172, I got down to 134, and I'm currently back to 145. Sad, isn't it?

I WAS counting calories and trying to have a reasonable daily deficit. It worked really well, but I just got so tired of having everything focused how many calories were in something...was that cookie 50 claories or 75??? Oh no!! What do I do?? No, I was sick of it. So I'm taking a break, and I will make up for what I've gained...someday.

Wow!!

So you are taking a break!!!

I dont think its ''Sad''..That sounds cool..At least if you feel comfortable and confident with who you are now, I guess it doesnt matter...and then when you stop feeling ''OK'' you get back to putting down calories..

I guess Ill do the same when I get to my ideal weight, try to mantain..then Ill get a lil crazy..and get to 110 lbs again :) For that time, Ill have already developed my own personal fitness plan.. (Hoping :) )

God Bless ya!
